They were great in working with the insurance adjuster and getting the paint back to factory finish. There were 2 issues putting the truck back together that went overlooked. Rather than taking the truck back during their normal hours, I decided it was easier to just fix it myself. The front driver's seat had to be removed to get to an aftermarket reverse sensor that was previously installed. The chair was not bolted back in - at all. It was sitting on the bolt holes as I drove home, only noticed 4 loose bolts when I was cleaning behind the chair later that night. They also left a loose torx bolt inside the tailgate, causing it to have trouble closing all the way on one side when a metal piece kept flopping around and getting jammed. Refinish and communication were great, but re-assembly (not bolting in the chair a major safety issue!) was not fully addressed carefully. read more

I recently had someone back into my Audi Q5 SUV. I searched for a collision repair center with good reviews and found myself at Advantage Collison Center. Chris Heinrich was my point of contact. He was excellent and showed genuine interest in getting my repairs done right and insuring that I was pleased with the outcome. Chris and his team came in on time and actually under budget from the quote I had received at the beginning. They ended up replacing a rear door on the vehicle which was where all of the damage was located. About a month after the work was done I noticed a vibration sound in the rear door when the engine idled. The sound would go away as the engine RPM went higher. Just the same it drove me crazy when I stopped at lights or stop signs and the engine idled. I called Chris and explained what was going on. He told me to bring it back in and he would take a look at it. I scheduled a time and waited in the waiting area while they tore into my door and found something that was not quite right with a part in the door. They fixed it up and had me on my way in about 40 minutes. The SUV was quiet again! No questions asked with my return trip other than an affirmation that he wanted it to be right. A few weeks ago I was in my house getting ready to go to the doctor and there was a frantic banging at my door. I thought it was my ex who was driving me to my appt. Sheesh, I thought. I opened my front door to a swirling cloud of smoke and ash to see one of the 15 feet tall arbor vitae (enormous evergreen tree/bush thing) next to my driveway FREAKING ON FIRE!! WTF! Holy hell!! One awesome neighbor had a hose on it and the other was on the phone with 911. Fortunately the fire department came and made sure it was out. Everyone was safe, the house was unharmed, and the fire was all contained. The firemen think it was probably someone's cigarette smouldering in the barkdust that caused it. Scary. My car had been parked in the driveway right next to the bush though and even though we quickly moved it, it had about $2500 of melty/cindery damage. The rear passenger side had melted paint and a super damaged taillight. Sad. I looked on yelp and found Denise B.'s reviews of Advantage and the positive endorsement of Chris and his work. I scheduled with Chris, emailed the insurance adjustor's estimate and damage list, and easily dropped off the car. I have rental car coverage but I think Chris might have loaners, not sure. Chris was super careful going over the list.He called me several times to make sure we were in agreement about things. My car is 14 years old and Allstate covered used or "after market " parts for the most part. Going over that estimate risked my car being totalled and I prefer not to do that. We have had this car from the start, it's paid off, and I like knowing where it has been. Plus my kid might start driving it soon. Chris got it Monday morning and was done by Friday afternoon, way faster than I imagined. It looks really nice! He even fixed up a couple unrelated scrapes that mean people had left on my car in parking lots over the years. This was a really good experience. I found Chris to be communicative and thoughtful. You can tell he cares about his work. My car looks very good, better than before the fire. I am glad I chose him. Hopefully I won't have to go there again but I will if I need to. P.S. A few days later there was more smouldering barkdust near my drive up coffee place and I told them so they could put it out. Four other cars in front of me drove by it and said nothing! WTF?! We found Advantage Collision Center while searching on Yelp and are delighted that we did. The repair was a "minor" rear bumper dent as the result of a parking lot encounter between my granddaughter's Subaru Legacy and a Jeep. Chris was quick to diagnose the damage and even identified the paint color without having to look it up via the car's VIN. His estimate seemed fair, but we had the car evaluated at another repair shop that boasted 10+ repair bays, dozens of workers and a plush office and waiting area. YIKES! Their estimate was more than twice what Chris quoted, and although we had to wait for Chris to handle the repair, it was well worth it. The car took only two or three days, and the results were fantastic. It's literally impossible to tell that the bumper had ever been damaged. Kudos to Chris and Advantage Collision Center. read more

Chris is awesome!!! I've gone to him after 3 separate incidents and made my husband go there when we got t-boned. My truck got rear ended twice and some psycho drunk chick mistook my truck for her ex and keyed the sucker all the way around it. BAD!!! I was in tears all 3 times I went to him. All 3 times I called Chris up hysterical, he calmed me down and every time told me to come down the next day. He took care of everything. I didn't have to do anything at all with the insurance. Everything was smooth and everything was accepted. He replaced everything with original parts not knockoffs or used. Every time my truck looked new. He even got me loaner cars. Always smiling and helpful. Trying to crack jokes and lighten the mood. My husband got t-boned on the passenger side. I made him take it to Chris. He got us in next morning. I told him I didn't like the diet door and needed it loosened back. He laughed. It was bad. T-boned, passenger door crunched all the way in, barely opened 4 inches. Smacked the sides near door too. He replaced the door and side the panels. The car looks awesome. He has an insane eye for paint color and always tickles me when you drive up he glares at the car and names the color. I scraped my bumper on a curb and buckled the bumper cover. I tried fixing it myself but did a poor job. I got quotes from everywhere. One company recommended replacing the cover for $1100 and a week turn-around. Another company quoted $600 plus depending on unseen damage and a four day turnaround. I took the car here and was impressed at his honesty. He told me the damage was minor and could be done for a fraction of the lowest bid and only a two day turn around. I'm ecstatic!! I waited a few years to save up and talk myself into having some body and paint work done on my 1991 Acura Integra. I like to keep my car nice and mechanics have always come first, but this was a present to me. I had done my homework and checked with many auto body shops. Many deal with insurance claims only and one was ready to commit to me but somehow lost my phone number and after a face to face meeting, he never recontacted me to make the appointment final. Red flag and a blessing to me as it sent me to Chris at Advantage Collision Center in Aloha. His attention to detail, to asking questions about the history of the work done prior, as well as his no-pressure demeanor was comforting. Fast forward, after needing rust ground down and treated, two bumpers painted, etc. I picked my car up 4 days later. This due to a special treatment and attention to treat the rusted area with a far better proceedure than was done a few years back. It needed an extra day to dry. My car looks amazing and Chris even remembered to paint my wipers. Something I threw in at the end that had bothered me, seeing the metal coming through the black paint. He spoke to me extensively on what they found with the old paint job, where it was lacking and seemed genuinely concerned that someone would deliver such shoddy paint products and workmanship. He was surprised at the lack of quality. He was correct. It was bad, I will take any and all car body and paint work to Chris at Advantage from this day forward.
