Avoid this location. This body shop wanted to write off my vehicle over a crack in the bumper rather than make any effort to properly repair it. Ford provided a repair procedure and identified the correct replacement part, but instead of following Ford's guidance or contacting Ford Technical Support to ensure the repair was performed correctly, the shop chose to push for totaling the vehicle. A professional repair facility should be willing to follow manufacturer repair procedures and seek clarification when needed. Instead, I was left fighting to get a repair that Ford had already documented and approved. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop to explore all available repair options before recommending a total loss. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a shop that is willing to work through manufacturer-approved repair procedures and advocate for repairing your vehicle properly. read more

I decided to try this place due to their high ratings but I'm honestly shocked and extremely disappointed by the treatment I received at Beaverton Auto Body and Paint. When I walked into the office, there was no one else around, yet I was completely ignored by Jennifer for over a minute. No greeting, no acknowledgment--nothing. When she finally decided to speak, she sounded annoyed, like helping me was a burden, even rolling her eyes. She didn't explain anything about the process, was short with her responses, and came across as flat-out rude. I came in expecting professionalism and basic respect, but left feeling like an inconvenience. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can't imagine how they handle actual repairs or follow-up. I was able to bring my truck in same day, not having to make an appointment a month out like a different shop I reviewed. Only waited five minutes before Rudy was able to see me. I have used this shop twice. They are one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. The first time was for a damaged mirror with no insurance involved. They did a great job, were accurate with the estimate and even suggested some ways to reduce the cost. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, helpful and honest. The last time I used them was after being broadsided by an uninsured driver. It was pure hell dealing with my insurance who tried to wriggle out of honoring their policy. I brought my vehicle here to get an estimate and at the time my vehicle was being rented out. I was told that I did not have to bring the car in right away and that I could bring it in when the busy season ended. Fast forward to today I called to make an appointment and for the second time in 2 different claims the adjuster was fired/quit. The first time went pretty smooth however this time I was transferred to the so called manager name Alexis. She could not find the latest paperwork trail with the completed transaction between Beaverton Auto body and my insurance company. When I explained that I was told all I had to do was call and make an appointment she began to talk over me and not listening to my frustrations with the process. When I demanded to be heard she hung up on me. It is not the customers fault that whatever filing system they have is not up to par and that they have a high turn over rate with employees. Should not be mad at the customer for the failed system the company has in place. I have never been treated this way by any company in my life. They do good work once you get your car in there but they are having issues there at the moment and the employees are completely stressed out. I was in a car accident on December 12. My Hyundai dealership was just around the corner from me and I sent there to ask if they could recommend a body shop. They immediately gave me Beaverton Auto and Collision at 4330 SW 142nd Ave. (The last time I needed work done on my car, I used the shop my insurance company recommended for me. Gerber collision on NW Science Park Dr. They completely messed up everything for me and thanks to an estimator, they ended up ordering the wrong part for my car so between having to send that back, and order the correct part, that sucked up about two months. When I spoke to the manager about THEIR SCREW UP costing me an extra out of pocket $1,300 in rental fees , her response was merely that my estimator no longer worked for the company! After badgering them some more about what they'd cost me, she offered me a paltry $300 for my trouble. (There is another Yelp review from me about my experience w/Gerber Collision that you might learn something valuable from!) I went to Beaverton Auto immediately expecting to just make an appointment to see an estimator. (My expectations were exceedingly low!) I walked in the door and Alexa greeted my warmly. I explained that I'd just had an accident and needed an estimate. She said, "well, let's just go outside right now and I'll take some pictures and we'll work up an estimate. In the meantime call your insurance company to open a claim." (I was confused by what she was doing because when I went to Gerber last time they told me they couldn't get me an appointment to even see an estimator for a full month, and they wouldn't be able to start on my car for a full month after that!!! So, two months already wasted before anyone would touch my car!! I naively thought that's just how these things work.) Alexa came back inside and uploaded the pics straight to my insurance company and told me they'd have an estimate in less than 24 hrs. Next thing I knew a driver from Enterprise rental arrived to take me to get my rental car! Initially Alexa told me they wouldn't be starting any new work for 3 weeks. Seemed reasonable after Gerber, but before I left with Enterprise she told me that she was going to make a special exception for me since my car wasn't safe to drive and she knew my rental car coverage would only last me 30 days. The whole encounter between the dealership, collision center, Enterprise and back home took 30 minutes or less. It was amazing! They immediately started work on my car and added me to their email chain with Safeco so every time the collision center and Safeco spoke to one another I was in on the conversation. Alexa called and emailed me a few times just to give me updates on the work. She told me they're trying very hard to complete the work before the 30 day expiration of my rental car coverage. (Mind you, this was all thru Christmas and New Years!) Sure enough my car was completed only three days past the rental car coverage expiration date. Unfortunately, that was the same week we had the windstorm with the snow and ice and my rental car was useless in that kind of weather, so I had to keep it for an additional 7 days until I could get to the collision center and get my finished car. Alexa said they felt so bad I couldn't get my car and incurred extra rental fees that they knocked 50% off of my deductible! (They did not have to do that! I was more than willing to just say it is what it is, nature took its toll. It's no one's fault. ) When I was finally able to get my car, I was amazed! It looked brand new again! There's no question that Alexa was my Christmas angel in disguise and a godsend on a day that was extremely traumatic for me. She made the process of car repair seamless!! She was so compassionate, kind and a comfort for me! I cannot say enough great things about Beaverton auto and collision! I highly recommend them and will tell everybody I know the story of how Alexa, my angel in disguise, came to my rescue in a dark moment. Thank you so much Alexa and Beaverton auto and collision!! PAINT FAILED... paint on the bumper they resprayed after claiming it had issues from the manufacturing process a respray was able to get rid of the striping without issue... is now flaking due to surface not being prepped properly prior to respray. Parts came in almost exactly on the dates they said it will. They finished the job in about 30 minutes. They adjusted their price accordingly to their quick job. I needed to have a new roof put on my car and Beaverton Auto Body & Paint was recommended to me. I worked with Dan, who was very friendly, helpful and straight forward in explaining what was needed. The first estimate I got was nearly $5,000 which included several calibrations that Dan thought would be necessary, as well as a completely new windshield. The work would take about 3 weeks, which included painting. About a week into the work, Dan called and told me that the original windshield did not need replacing and that the total work would be about $750 LESS than estimated. Then, about 10 days later, Dan called and said that some of the calibrations were not needed and that brought the total price to about $3,800 (from $5K). Also, the work was completed earlier. It is not often that autobody shops REDUCE the amount of money that they want for the work. I trust that this shop is honest and will not overcharge. Everyone I worked with was really friendly and helpful. My car looks great and I am very happy with the work done. I will return to Beaverton Auto Body & Paint if I ever need more work done! read more
