In purchasing a retirement home in Phoenix, I happened to call Advantage, in which the home inspection went well and Cliff Winham seemed to be very thorough with the inspection. Connections with the outside company that was dealt with was poor. I personally would not recommend 911 Heating, Cooling & Plumbing who Advantage sent my way, as they showed up unannounced to the home that was being inspected and poor communication on their part. read more

*Updated* Since the Manager chose to depute that George did not test all of the outlets, and I have no way of showing a printout of my phone conversation with George, I have chosen to upload a screenshot of my home inspection where is states that he only checked a representative number of outlets. ****Update after 1 month**** Once we moved into the house we found two outlets that were not working. When I called the main number, they told me that they could not answer my questions, but told me to speak to George, our inspector, directly. I called George and he picked up right away. He told me that he only tests some of the outlets, even though it was a vacant house and all outlets were exposed. He said that he wasn't sure if it was covered and that I should go look on the website and see if I could find any information. Downgraded 2 stars. 4/5 Pros: George arrived on time. He was willing to talk me through EVERYTHING on the inspection report because there were more than a few things I didn't understand. Gave pretty good information about what was a "big deal" and what was not. I like that they will send me updates of recalls on my appliances. Cons: This inspection was not as thorough as other inspections I have gotten. They could not test the A/C and they did not test the drip irrigation system. read more

My realtor and dad were running a bit late for the appointment but Scott was patient and waited for them to arrive before starting to go over his findings. Scott was very thorough and very professional. He took the time to explain all the finding and issues in the home.
