We went with Advantage for our home purchase as they were recommended by our realtor. After talking to their office they stated they would check all appliances and we even added the additional termite inspection. They did not inspect our natural gas lines which we found any issue with on our final walkthrough. After checking our initial inspection report it came out that they never inspected them. When we called in to ask they said thats an additional service, but did not ever let us know that even when they dispatched the technician and he came to the property. If we did not hire another company we could have easily moved into a house with a gas leak being none the wiser since we trusted they completed the inspection. read more

We did have a certified electrician come out and perform the work specified on the report. Realtor can only ask for specific repairs , so inspector can't just say replace this cap, have box reviewed by electrician. Bc he reviewed it, but only did specified work on work order as described by inspectors report. Also, I said it would be HELPFUL if the report says you have no water running to your fridge if you're planning to have one with an ice maker and you could add a line in the report not that you HAVE to buy its helpful read more
