They do not honor their warranty especially if you live farther then they are willing to drive. We mom had a valid warranty. We called after shingles were found in our yard. Gentleman called back and said he did not want to drive an hour out if these shingles did not belong to my mom's house. My mom is over 70, there is no way she could get up on the roof. An estimator from State Farm came out and took pictures for my mom and indeed the shingles were coming from our roof. After sending this company pictures they claimed it was the fault of an animal and they weren't responsible. Lazy company with horrible customer service. You shouldn't take on work and offer warranties on your work if your not willing to do the leg work after the fact.

We called premier Windows to get a quote to replace a window. We had used this company in the past…read moreand they did a great job. This time Pat was sent out to give us a quote to replace a window and possibly a door. We ended up just wanting the window replaced. Pat told us that would be no problem and gave us a quote for a new Pella window. So we had him order the window and waited for it to be installed. On the day of the installation there was obviously problems installing the window. Instead of informing us of the problem, they just put the window in that was supposed to be an all wood window on the inside. They installed plastic strips around the window because apparently the gap was too wide to install the wood trim. Instead of informing us of any issues, I had to call up Pat and complain to him. Pat used multiple excuses and then tried blaming us for the window not being correct. He then came up with a solution to order wider wood strips to put around window which I agreed to hoping it would look better. He sent his crew out a couple weeks later to install the wood strips which made the window look even worse. Never heard back from him again. I tried contacting Steve the owner but he just keeps sending us to Pat. I needed a few more windows replaced in this house but it looks like I will have to call someone else because Pat obviously has no idea what he is doing.​

We did our best to seal off the opening with thick plastic and tape until we could get the window replaced but knew that wouldn't last long. One company we called wanted over $500 just to nail plywood over the opening. In the meantime, we called two window companies to get estimates for the replacement. The first company spent very little time and was rather short with us. They offered nothing in the way of covering the opening for the 6-8 weeks it would take for the new window. Then we called Naperville Windows & Doors. Their representative came to our house and took time to listen to us and address our concerns. Shortly after receiving our estimate (which, by the way, was over $1000 lower than the first company for the same window), Don (who I believe is the owner) came out to get exact measurements. When he saw the gaping hole in our house & our makeshift repair, he offered to nail the old window into place and seal the opening so we wouldn't be without a window for 2 months. When we tried to pay him for his trouble, he wouldn't take any money. Very impressive customer service! Needless to say, we chose to go with NWD. When our window came in, Joe came to install it. He was super nice & did a fantastic job! The window is beautiful & very solid. We were very happy with our experience with NWD and would whole-heartedly recommend them. In fact, we plan to begin replacing our other windows over the next few years & will go with NWD again when we do. Thanks again!
