I've done my rutine mammogram here. imaging reception is unfriendly and not collaborative. My mamo result came incomplete since imaging technician hasn't done her work properly it ended up I spend more time and come back for another exposure with waves and it was absolute inconvenient. read more

I called at Noon, got a 2:30 Appointment, got a sonogram and x-ray and was out by 3:00. The X-ray tech, Becky was efficient and courteous. The Sonogram Tech was also first rate. So, bottom line, efficient and courteous and that's what I want. read more

Not a popular place to have to go to but when the doctor orders tests to determine what's wrong with you, you gotta go. Glad I made my appointment with this location for my arthrogram and MRI. I called late on a holiday weekend to make my appointment. The person that took my call was very nice and friendly despite my calling 5 minutes before closing. She took all my information, but didn't have the schedule for arthograms available. So they had to call me back to schedule. They called the next day on a Saturday morning and got me squared away. Gave me all the information I'd need before coming in. A couple days before my appointment, I received a text message to confirm my appointment. The person checking me in was very nice and reviewed all my paperwork with me. She also called my referring doctor's office to confirm his test request as he had conflicting checkmarks on the order. She was the one that also escorted me back to the waiting area inside and gave me the locker to stow away my belongings. I had the arthrogram first and after watching a bunch of videos online, was nervous about the procedure. William, the technician, took me back to the room. He sat me down and asked me a bunch of questions. Then, he went through and explained each step of what would happen. He was friendly and helped me relax. He assisted Dr Basen with the arthrogram. Dr Basen was very friendly and tried to make me more at ease with each step as he inserted the needle and the combo of drugs into my joint. Next was the MRI. Was very nervous as I'm claustrophobic and worried I wouldn't be able to get through it. Mary was the MRI technician and she was very sweet. She took me back and explained what would happen. She had to position me in a particular way cause of what I had to get scanned. She made sure I was comfortable and told me to close my eyes before she pushed me into the tube. Throughout the test, she told me how long each segment would be and assured me I was doing great. Overall, a good experience for a not so pleasant procedure. Glad I went to this location to have it done cause the staff were all very nice. If I have to go back for more scans, I'll go to this location! read more

Came in with a slip for an xray for a shoulder injury. Parking was abundant and staff seemed friendly. Wait time for an xray (no appointment) was minimal. As in, I finished my paperwork at the desk, and was immedietely whisked off to a changing room. Paper gown time! YAY! After waiting a few minutes a very jolly X-Ray tech (I wish I could remember his name) came over. He was friendly and explained they'd be taking xrays of my shoulder and I would have to stand for the procedure. Not a problem. He also didn't let me go until he had checked he wouldn't need to redo the images, which I appreciated, because I have been called back to redo images before. Facility was a bit confusing, and parking lot was a bit sketchy (There was a man loitering and smoking at the very end of the parking lot when I got there. When I came back, he was still there.), but overall it was as pleasant as I could hope for. read more

Due to COVID-19, I was unable to fly to Houston to see my surgeon for follow ups. Based on prior reviews, I chose this imaging center in Germantown, MD. I'm very glad that I did, I had a really good experience from checking in, MRI and x-rays. I'm uncomfortable in the small space of the scanning machines but I was blessed to have Brittany as my MRI technician. She was very friendly, thoughtful and immediately put me at ease. She made sure that I was comfortable and provided support for my lower back and knees. She needed background images and immediately contacted my surgeon's office so that the doctor could make an accurate analysis. Throughout the procedure, Brittany checked to ensure that I doing fine. And she didn't beat up my arm putting in the contrast IV, in fact, she got in on the first try. Becky took care of me during my x-rays and since the doctor's orders were out of state, she was very thorough with confirming my information. Kudos to a great team! read more

The Germantown location for AdventistHealthCare Imaging is my choice for those imaging tests you should have as part of your physical exam. From mammograms to bone density tests and MRIs, to name a few. The testing center is incredibly simple to find with a front door titled IMAGING! The parking lot is spread out in front-- couldn't be easier. The registration staff is a group of friendly folks-- even at 7:30 am. Waiting room is comfortable with lots of windows. Ask for Mary if you're having your first MRI as I was. Mary explained the process, detailing the sounds/length/reason for no body movement. I had a choice of head phones (YES!) Which drowned out the loud noise of the exam-- Mary turned them to my favorite Sirius channel. She was an encouraging coach counting down to the finish since my injury caused me some pain due to lack of movement. Mary was the best! I have some general tests scheduled in a couple of months-- no longer an ordeal now that I'm taken care of at Adventist Imaging in Germantown. read more

An MRI is not a pleasant experience but Brittany made me as comfortable as possible and checked with me throughout the 25-minute procedure. I can't say I actually look forward to future imaging but, when I need it, I hope someone as caring as Brittany is my technician. read more

Every experience I've had with the folks who do the MRI imaging, particularly Mary has been five stars - professional and friendly.

I was SO apprehensive for my MRI with contrast as I don't really have veins. For surgeries, a pediatric IV specialist is normally brought in. Mary and Brittany were EXTREMELY patient with me. They were able to start the IV with contrast after 3 loving sticks. They were empathetic, changed out the linens/blanket after I soaked through them. They traded turns and the other held my hand during the attempts. They were successful and I was able to have my scan done! Hopefully they don't have too many of these challenges. They are SUPER STARS!!! read more

I had a late afternoon appointment for a sonogram. Registration took 5 minutes, the lady that registered me was very friendly. Waited like 15 minutes past my appointment time, which is super fast compared to other places I have been to and the Doctor that saw me was great, he took his time and explained things when we asked. As far as imaging goes and the actual exams I have no problems with this facility. When it comes to the staff however Claudia at the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. One exam wasn't covered by insurance due to our mistake of not correctly scheduling both the abdomen and pelvis so I went up to the front desk and asked if instead of just doing the abdomen and rescheduling the pelvis for another day if I could reschedule to do both at the same time. This is when things went downhill in her attitude and demeanor. She reluctantly agreed and rescheduled for 1 week after our initial visit and scheduled it for 8:30am. We came back for this second visit only to be told that it takes 14 days for insurance companies to approve a claim. Why would she schedule it for 1 week after knowing that it takes 14 days for a claim to be approved. So we said fine we'll just do the abdomen since its already been approved. They said that we couldn't just do the abdomen and that both had to be done at the same time so we would have to wait another 7 days, but just 1 week before we could? read more

I made an appointment a month ago for an ultrasound and a few days before my appointment I got a phone call confirming my appointment (which I appreciate and was the correct date and time). However, the next day I got a text saying my appointment was 2 hours before my previously scheduled appointment time, which got me confused. I couldn't call them to confirm because they were closed for the weekend already and had to wait for the next day they would be open which is Monday, the day of my appointment. I called and was put on hold for a long time and when the rep got back on and told me my appointment was the one that was earlier, I'm was like, "no, it's not". Luckily my original requested time was still available. She told me to come at that time since i already missed my appointment time. I said, "no, my appointment was at 10:30 am, not 8:30 am so I didn't miss my appointment time - their system or whoever took down my appointment time a month ago messed up and reserve the wrong slot so don't make it sound like its MY fault." In a nutshell, the rep wasn't really nice at all. The ironic thing is that I haven't even been at the location yet physically and I already don't like their service. If I could put a zero I would. I chose this location because it was closest to my house too. So much for making an appointment a month ahead........ read more

This is by far the RUDEST staff I have ever met! When you call to make an appointment the receptionist acts like you're interrupting her lunch hour or her favorite TV show. Get into a new profession honey, because you do not have patience to deal with the public. Even waiting in line to check in, the girls were giving eye rolls and major attitude to prospective patients of all ages. After waiting for about a hour, to be honest, I think they forgot about me, I finally saw the doctor. Thank god. Finally, I was able to leave that hole. If only it ended there. I had to call back about a week later for test results, and the same snooty receptionist answered the phone. Oh Joy! She said that she already sent the results and told me, that my doctor needs to learn to check her fax machine. How is that my fault? I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody. My 3 year old needed a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia. She was scared, and uncooperative, but not out of the ordinary for a 3 year old's first x-ray. The technician (tall Asian man, I will leave him unnamed) yelled at my daughter, and put his hands on her to show her how to sit straight. She was screaming, he called her a baby, and yelled back at her. I told him to get the f*&k out of my room and he left. A super sweet technician named Ellen came in and saved the day. She was wonderful and was able to get the x-rays needed without an issue. The office manager said I am not the first one to complain about this technician and seemed less than shocked at his behavior, which leads me to believe he has done this before. No child, or person for that matter, deserves to be treated that way, nor did he have the right to PHYSICALLY put his hands on my child. I will be following up with this matter, and will not be back to this location again. read more
