Some say shiba inus are aloof, stubborn (if not obstinate) to training, loners, and not good with other dogs and people. William has trained Kumo since he was four months old and Kumo can be off-leash and recall, LOVES being part of the pack, and is friendly to people and dogs. Kumo sits by the window waiting for William and his crew to pick him up and squeals with delight when they arrive, which tells me that he is so fulfilled on his days with AdventureDogLA. William was great at training MY KIDS (!) to train Kumo during our training session. Kumo boarded for 17 days with William and had so much fun, he seemed bummed to come home. William is a dog whisperer, really cares for all of his dogs, and reminds us what a truly fulfilled dog looks like!

Willie has been Bailey's dog trainer for the past 4 years, and he has been absolutely amazing! He is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about Bailey, always taking the time to understand her needs and help her thrive since she's a nervous dog. We're so grateful for everything Willie has done for her over the years and couldn't recommend him enough!

We board our dog at William's place every time we go on vacation because we know that he is safe and he's going to have a great time there. He goes on hikes and play in the garden ! It's also a great socialisation and teaching time for our dog who is on the shy side! William sends us pictures or videos every day which is very much appreciated

Oakley had a blast with William and his team during his first boarding at Adventure Dog LA. He was there for 6 nights and I felt completely comfortable that he was safe (not the case with other boarders I've used in the past). We did a lot of research and decided on Adventure Dog LA, even though it's a fair distance from where we live. We will definitely be taking Oakley back in the future! I highly recommend. (I've included some of the updates I got while Oakley was there)

I cannot say enough good things about William & ADLA. I send my 2 smart, sensitive, active Aussiedoodles to ADLA for daycare. They are so ridiculously happy. William sends me videos of their adventures and when I pick them up they are tired & cuddly. I never worry about them, and can focus on work, knowing they are being well cared for.

    The spots love Adventures!

We love this team! They pickup and drop off the dogs. Always ready to take them or help out with any issues in the weekly schedule.

Not a great experience. Vague advice and some pointless sessions. I'd advise to try someone else.

I imagined her making brownies, popcorn, having a BBQ and not turning off the grill afterwards. Carried away-then I remembered this is Molly, our favorite cat, and prepared to have someone else in our messy house. The manager "Mollie" was very organized. We, were very detailed. I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

He understands what works for different kinds of doggos and their personalities. He also is super nice, friendly, and helpful when you are working with him. You can tell he loves what he does. He knows why things work or don't work in dog training and why one trainer or place my recommend one thing vs why it might be different for your doggo. We have a large doggy named Milo and he kept nipping and jumping on people. Play biting and jumping for bigger dogs is difficult because we have older parents and his jumping and nipping could hurt them. We also have a newborn baby we were worried that our doggo would be rough with him since he kept rough playing, nipping/biting, and jumping on us. HOWEVER, with Alden's support we saw a sudden and quick decrease in our doggos behaviors. To all you dog owners out there looking for good and well-rounded training THIS IS THE GUY! Alden is very honest and even though we pushed for possibly doing boarding 2-week training he told us our doggo didn't need it and didn't want to push it on us. My wife and I really love working with him and hope to continue to have him there for our doggos life trainings! We recommend him 5-stars. Thanks Alden!

I am beyond grateful for David and the entire team for taking such incredible care of my girl. We first came to O.P. when I went from working remotely to a hybrid schedule and needed daycare three times a week. As a rescue, our dog was very fearful and had very little experience socializing with other dogs. We signed her up for the full training program, and David worked with me to make sure it fit into our schedule. He even met with us on weekends to answer questions, and we also got to work one-on-one with George, another one of their fabulous trainers. My dog absolutely loves going to "school" and has come such a long way in her obedience, confidence, and social skills. The difference in her has been incredible to watch. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful, and they all greet our dog by name. You can tell the people at O.P. genuinely love dogs and know what they're doing. This is not a staff of people who are just there to do a job. These are dedicated professionals who I wholeheartedly trust with the care and safety of my dog. In addition to training and daycare, I've also boarded my dog here. When I picked her up, she was freshly bathed, happy, and clearly very well taken care of. If you're looking for any of the services Obedience Please offers, I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are an exceptional team, and I feel incredibly lucky that we found them.

So I did some research and came across "Obedience, Please!" I was thrilled! I had been joking that, in honor of Taylor swift, we were going to do a "Life of a Showdog" film once I got her trained. So to find out Howie trained dogs for show biz back in the day?! What a dream. Being part boarder collie, the training was much more difficult than I had previously been hoping for on my own. Despite (and maybe because of) her incredible intelligence, she also has a tremendous amount of energy, and love to give. With my chronic condition it was just becoming too much. She's been in the program for seven weeks, has taken a huge liking to David and behaves beautifully with him. I'm nervous to have her on my own but she just graduated today and I am so much more confident! She listens like spring and she talks like June, my sweet baby angel. I've been singing to her "she's a maniac" but swapped it out with "brainiac" all afternoon: lovin' it. We have already been practicing the commands at home and plan to be diligent about continuing education. Thank you, David, for your hard work, determination and diligence with her training. You clearly care very much about this work and these dogs. Aphrodite has seen great improvement since I first dropped her off and I couldn't be more grateful. And Howie, thank you for carrying on this work for a lifetime and building such a valuable practice and team. I will always be impressed by you and your work. Sincerely, Montana
