This dealership called and told me that the ATV that I placed a deposit on would not be there on the agreed upon date and time. I then made the decision to look elsewhere and asked for my deposit back because when the salesman told me the bad news, I was told that the ATV would be there Friday, Saturday, or next week. I had one day to go get the bike and no other options. The salesman mentioned that the bike was in Louisiana and that was the reason for the delay. 4 days before when he took my deposit over the phone, he said that the ATV was in their warehouse right down the road. My mind was now made up and I was not going to let them sway my decision. I asked to speak to the manager and he was not a pleasant person to speak to. He even made the comment that he can not believe that there are people still like me in the world. I then proceeded to tell him to keep my deposit and he would never get any of my money ever again. He said that he doesn't need the sell because he can't get this model fast enough and could sell 200 of this model in a week. Take my advice and look else where. There are many dealerships that would love to have your business and may not curse at you, say rude things, or take your deposit if they can't hold up to their end of the bargain. read more

Bought my bike at the Hall's shop on Government Blvd and had them service it when necessary . I had to be out of town for a week, which turned into a year. When I returned I knew I would need to have the bike serviced and fuel system cleaned. Hall's kept my bike for three weeks and charged me $750 to rebuild the fuel system. The repair lasted two days or 29 miles, same problem as before I took it in. It took me another two weeks to get it back to the shop. After inspecting the bike I was informed of three problems 1 Old and dirty fuel, problem the only fuel in the tank was the fuel they put in it after they emptied and cleaned the tank. Didn't get to ride the bike enough to get fuel. 2 Weak battery, they replaced the battery when it was in the shop the first time and 3 and the best lie I was told mouse droppings were all over the battery. The bike is garage stored and my girl friends 7 cats make sure we have no mice. It would have been more believable had they claimed there was a hair ball in the carb. When I went to pick it up, it took them thirty minutes to get it started. When I asked why they said "the pit cock was turned in the wrong direction" Do you really want to have your bike worked on by people that don't know the difference between an open and closed pit cock. read more

VETERANS DO NOT GO HERE! Read my full review to understand. I called ahead to check the price on one of their motorcycles. They told me a price over the phone that was much lower than the price they told me once I arrived at the store. Their customer service was terrible and did not care about helping me as a customer. They were not able to explain the reason why they changed the price from the time I left home to the time I arrived at the store. They did not seem very concerned on the reason why I wanted the motorcycle. They did not even take the time to explain to me the details about the motorcycle. My boyfriend & I are both veterans and the heavy set "sales manager" was extremely rude when we inquired about a military discount. He said the sales price was lower and wouldn't add the 10% discount they offer to military vets. My boyfriend said, "that's not right," and the "manager" called him, "a punk, a$$ kid." At that point we went to get my paperwork from a woman at the desk and she refused to give it back to me. It had my personal banking information on it & so I quickly grabbed my documents off of her desk. My boyfriend and I quickly walked out the door and couldn't believe they would treat us that way. I've never felt so disrespected in my life. This was suppose to be a fun experience for me, but it was terrible. The employees need to be recertified on customer service or find another job that doesn't require them to be and act like professinals. I do not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this store. They are not trust worthy of their words and DO NOT value their customers AT ALL. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND S anyone, especially a female like myself, to check the prices on S & W power sports in Jasper, Al. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable in purchasing my first motorcycle. They were very helpful and their customer service was outstanding. read more

One of the owners Allison Hall when questioned about not getting information from the dealer about my refund for cancellation of gap and service warranty stated "I'm not going to give you any information either" and hung up on me. Very poor business etiquette. I guess they have become too big. I'm still waiting ever so patiently for my refund. Wonder if I will ever get it. read more

I went there to buy a wheel bearing for a Suzuki ATV 1 front wheel bearing set was $49.54 and that was a MOOSE brand not OEM. So I'm curious and go to MORTS POWER SPORTS and price the same brand and part number for $24.99 that they had in stock. So they have a 50% mark up on all parts this place is a joke. I understand they are in business to make money but that's outrageous, save yourself some money and stay a way from there. Morts Power Sports carries all of the parts you would need. read more

Mad, mad, and so angry! That's how I felt after buying a VX yamaha 1800 waverunner for $11300 out the door. Because when I went to pick up the machine I was notified that now there were additional charges totaling $431! There is no such thing as a deal is a deal when dealing with Hall's Motorsports! I than had to call five times to get my registration because I kept getting lied to. I now hate this machine because of the way I was treated. To this day I have not even started it. Got a new Yamaha YXZ1000R from Steve . Had it shipped to Oregon . when i got it there was damage to the front seat's , passenger grab handle , front and rear fender's sticker peeling off . Dealing with Hall's was the best vehicle buying experience I've ever had. The entire deal was made over the phone and the best part was there were no surprises when I picked up the bike (Hayabusa). It was ready, in perfect condition and at the agreed price! The salesman, Rob Morris, made sure I had everything I needed the trailer the bike back to Florida and even told me not to buy items I didn't need. I wish the dealership in my town was as helpful as Hall's Motor Sports. Their staff is great, they have a beautiful showroom with a huge inventory of bikes and everything needed to get you on the road. I couldn't be more please. Thanks Rob!!!! read more

I have been watching the Hall's weekly internet special to buy a new Jet Ski but they are never updated and the item is out of stock. When you call the sales person they state that they are out of stock. After a month the same items was still on special for sale with no item to sale. Bate and switch! Very poor !! read more

They advertise the cheapest prices on Cycle Trader, then add on an additional $1200 in dealer fees. I would avoid them for any purchases.

I had agreed with the online quoted price they provided for a motorcycle as well as the cost of additional accessories I requested. I did absolutely no negotiating to lower the price, and I requested several times that I wanted to see a final breakout of the costs. Of course I understand there are fees that come with the purchase. However, once the sales rep gave me the final price he immediately rushed me to go make my down payment of $2k with my debit card. The final number sounded high to me, so I requested to see a breakout of the costs, to which he gave a disgusted shrug and said "sure". He took me to the side office where I was able to look at the computer and see the break out. There was $1,200 additional fees ($600 freight, $200 doc fee, and $400 of something else) that I was NEVER told about. I was furious about the dishonesty but was still willing to make the purchase, but requested $400 to be taken off the price. They only offered $200 and I walked out. There is more to the story but I can't fit it in here. It was extremely frustrating and their attitude was pathetic. read more

I recently took my ATV to Halls in Daphne , AL to have the brake pads replaced, oil and air filter replaced. I had called the location in Mobile and got a quote for the service over the phone for $ 180.00 on the brake job.When I got to daphne they qouted me $ 200.00 for the brakes then $ 75.00 to $ 80.00 for the oil and air filter. A day after I dropped it off they called and said I may want to replace the brake calibers, when i ask the guy how much they were he said about $70.00 each, I told him not to replace the calibers , i did not think it was necessary, he never said they could not install the pads unless the calibers were replaced. The guy told me I could come pick up my ATV. W hen I arrived to pick up my Atv I was informed they had not installed the front brake pads. I was told the calibers were seized up and needed to be replaced , I knew better ! when i ask how much for new calibers i was told $207.00 each this time, or $38.00 for the rebuild kit and 4hr labor @ $100.00 an hr. I declined the offer and proceded to check out,when he gave me the total it was $389.00, needless to say I was already quoted a max of $280.00 and THEY DID NOT INSTALL THE FRONT BRAKE PADS ! I refused to pay that , finally he adjusted it down to $309.00 I took my ATV and left . I took my ATV to another Mechanic , he installed the pads for $100.00, and there was absolutly nothing wrong with the calibers.I have tried to call Halls Service Manager at least 4 times and the General Manager 2 times and it seems they have employees screening their calls , I even left a message with the General Manager at another location and have yet to get a response! It is a promise that I will never do buisness with this company again. read more
