Came in yesterday for a check-in on the HD Rider app and discovered a screw in rear tire. Nathan in the service area was very helpful in getting me a new tire, only one in stock for my 2017 cvo Breakout. Cost was what I figured, around $500 for tire and all. Was a bit more. Unable to patch tire. I guess its a law, so it's not allowed. Not in my budget, but it had to be done. We always stop at Mobile H-D when we are in Alabama. In years past I have not been impressed with this facility, but my latest visit changed my opinion, very much for the better. As always they had plenty of bike stock to look at and they have always had a parts department, but this time I was pleasantly surprised to find their clothing inventory to be more expansive and complete. I was working with a delightful employee named Whitney who patiently assisted me in finding items for myself as well as gifts for my husband and a friend. I sucked up a full hour of her time, including a "I want to change this one for that color" and that did not phase her her in the least. Kudos to you and your customer service Whitney. I would completely rebuild the service team. Worst experience I've ever had. I wouldn't step foot in here for a free motorcycle. All they care about is taking your money. After several times of bringing my bike to them I left with it pouring gas out of the carb. And they blamed it on me and tried to keep charging me. I got the problem fixed for $150 by a local dealer. I payed Harley $700 for them to make my problem worse and then take no responsibility for it. The store manager Rob, told me unless I was a certified mechanic he didn't care what problems I was having because he didn't believe me. Go somewhere else. read more

Broke down!!! Saturday @ 1330. Flat rear tire on my Heritage with my Baby ( my Wife) on the back. Interstate 10, 78mph!! God is so good!! Towed to MBHD 2 1/2 hours later!! $200! The MBHD service department got me back on the road. Stayed until 1800 to get it done!! I pray that God blesses MBHD the same way they blessed me and my Baby!! Very disappointed in this dealership... as someone who rides a Harley, and lives the lifestyle of a motorcycle enthusiast. Our community has always been or at least seemed like we support the free world of the USA. On Nov 2nd a father and son were taking photos from the sidewalk and 3-4 of your employees came out purposely to harass them, then after not getting the answers they wanted called the police. I really hope The management takes some people skills training and starts respecting people a lot more. Quit using This place years ago with previous owners because of horrible service.......well, Visited service department today.......needed a system relay switch to determine if that was The issue with fuel pump not working. Service guy named Johnathan was very helpful and Found the switch.....I explained that if the switch did not work, I would call back for appointment To bring bike in........switch did not help. I called at 1136 am and spoke with Johnathan which Said he was pulling parts and would get back with me shortly. Call Johnathan again at 326 pm, He gave some excuse about being busy and would call me right back. I can't rave about this dealership enough. First off, although a challenge for my budget, the sales managers put in great effort to get me on a 2020 Street Glide. When it started having some electrical issues, the service department bent over backwards, as well as the sales managers, to try and figure out the issues. It became a very frustrating ongoing nightmare but the service manager and techs stayed diligent trying to figure it out, even personally coming to pick it up at my home a couple hours away. Eventually we reached a point in which it seemed like it was going to be never ending and I wasn't confident that I would ever be happy with the bike I had. But the team at the dealership stood behind their product, service, and their word of selling me a great bike. In the end, they did more than enough to make up for my troubles with the Biko had and got me onto a brand new 2023 Street Glide. I couldn't be happier with this dealership and the way they have treated me. I'm looking forward to many years on my new bike and a long lasting relationship. read more

The store itself is set up nicely. I drove almost three hours to pick up a part that I could not find locally. I walked in the store and not one single person spoke until a fellow came up to demand I put my mask on. I did so, then he turned his back and walked away. There was no customer service whatsoever, no 'how are you today', no 'can I help you with something.' I am sick of being treated like this in Harley Davidson stores everywhere just because I am a woman. I deserve the same friendly service as all the men. To be frank, this doesn't even deserve 1 star. I'm still confused as to why routine maintenance here (mind you, I am not an everyday rider and my bike has no rough mileage) cost way more than any other Harley around the state of Alabama? They are very dishonest and I've picked up on that when they were trying to get me to trade in a 2019 Street Bob with less than 5k miles for a 2012 Sporster that had more than 15k miles only to shave 30 dollars off of my monthly premium. They spoke like my bike was ready yesterday and I find it funny that I can't get anyone on the line to get it picked up. How this is still a place of business is beyond me. I will not be back. Save yourself the time, the money, and the headaches. Do NOT do business here. This shop used to be great. Was in the shop 2 days ago and literally there are no parts or accessories out on the floor anymore minus a little bit in the service dept area. You can't even get a quart of oil off a shelf.....you have to ask for one. Also a service rep goes to ring up my items and asked what's your name in our system, I'm from outta state passing through so I said I'm not in your system. Next he states in a smart A--tone.."well I have to sell it to someone". I popped back and told him just ring up my items you don't need my info for a sale. Then with an attitude he walks my stuff up to the parts counter to make another girl ring me up. What a crappy experience. Took my sons Dyna in here to have some work done. The counter people were very friendly and professional. They explained every aspect of what he would be looking at as far as having his repairs made. Everything that could be fixed under warranty they did. Anything after that they explained what needed to be done and even prioritized what was more important than some. Have tried to buy parts their on two separate occasion, first time I became frustrated and walked out when they couldn't manage to look a swing arm plug up, I got on my phone and found it and part number in no time, of Course it. Was not in stock but. They would be happy to order it if I paid for it upfront like a. Five dollar part, I ordered it online. Got the right part delivered in no time. Gave them another try today just a set of mirror extensions and a set of plugs took 3 people and I still got the wrong plugs tried to get a nut for taillight that was above all threes capabilities. 1,700 miles into an almost 6,000 mile trip, I decided I needed to upgrade my highway pegs. I landed at Mobile Bay Harley Davidson. Reggie met me at the door and guided me to the perfect set of Highway pegs. I knew the comfort would far outweigh the dollars spent so I pulled the trigger. It was raining and not wanting to deal with installing them in the parking lot, he guided me to Paul the service manager. Paul took my bike right in and had Justin install them. Justin did a great job and also had me take the bike for a test ride to make sure they were in the perfect position. They even offered to wash my bike, but collecting bugs from 7 different states seemed more important to me lol. After a couple adjustments I was on my way. 4100 miles later, my feet, legs and butt felt great. This ride was from Phoenix AZ to Key West FL. Had the receipt and they still didn't accept it. $35 wasted on something too small. I left angry at how I had been treated only to be confronted in the parking lot by multiple employees. Just about every harley store i go to has great employees. Im sure this one does too, but one was really rude and ugly towards me and i wont go to this harley store again. Yesterday, I was buying poker chips and was about to buy a helmet, when this manager (tall older woman with short black hair) came over to cash me out on a h-d fob. I asked a question after the purchase and she got real nasty with her body language and was almost yelling at me "bye!" while waving her hand obnoxiously instead of answering my question. You feel important the moment you walk in, and they let you look around and relax until your ready to ask questions. The staff remembers who you are and what you've been looking for, your likes and dislikes. I bought the first Sport Glide because the salesman KNEW it was the Harley that would finally meet my bodies needs. And it DID! First off, I am hard to please, I know what I want and it has to look and feel a certain way. I have looked at Harley Davidsons Motorcycles for 12 years and never bought one... I would go into the Mobile Bay HD store at least 4 times a year. I own several other brands of motorcycles. Things got bright and shiny at Mobile Bay HD in 2017 because the store and it's staff seemed to transform and get excited. Maybe it was the new Milwaukee Eight motors. What I do know is MBHD delivered a ride that worked for me - at last, the new Sport Glide. In the last year leading up to my purchase, MBHD Staff was friendly, let me sit on bikes and ask lots of questions. Even though I was an annoying tire kicker for all those years they never pushed me away. Today the store is clean and well stocked. Original T-shirts galore and my favorite part is just going for a visit because everybody in the store has made it a point to know my name. At 62 I can't say I am a fan of loud music but I do understand Harley Davidson is trying to wrangle in the younger customers so the brand doesn't just die on the vine. Fortunately Loud music is reserved for outside or special event days. SERVICE: I was so impressed with the service department that I had them install several high end after market components which they did perfectly and under quote. I feel so confident in MBHD that yesterday, 8/25/18 I bought a spanky new 2019 Road Glide. My only regret is that I can not ride both my HD's at the same time. If reviews are important to where you do business I can assure you that as a very picky private business owner, MBHD is a great place to buy and service your motorcycle. I have bought a 17 Trike and traded for a 17 Ultra Limited. I have been riding for 50 years and visited many dealers. I have never had such a delightful experience in any transaction for any vehicle. The salesman, Bobby Hunter, was awesome. It was not the old "ask the sales manager" over and over again. He helped me with the accessories, worked out the deal for the storage until I could pick them up (no charge) and constantly sent pictures during the installation of the accessories. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. They are not the biggest and the location is a little off the beaten path, but highly worth the effort to find. read more

Was on vacation decided to buy a CVO lined it up with them to deliver it to Kansas City mo was told they deliver it in an I closed trailer when a bike goes out of state beings it's a 14 hr road trip . Received it Tuesday morning on a open faced trailer filthy dirty ! Not the way you deliver a 43,000.00 bike . Called and complained was told the owner was out of the office but would talk to him Wednesday today is Thursday and not a word . Then a internet lady called my husband today asking if he was still interested in buying a bike he informed her he bought one from then and it was delivered already. You would think they would know we brought one from them seriously told her our story She said she would talk to the mgr and call him back he said not to call him to call my wife and took down her number again. and was very sorry again nothing from anyone not a word . You need to get your shit together as a company we aren't just a number so I guess since you made your sale on a high dollar bike we are nothing . We have learned a good lesson here that's for sure never ever buy a bike out of state so sad my husband wanted me to add the delivery guy was very nice very respectful he said he hit rain and that's why it's so dirty and did apologize to us for that. Next we also wanted to but a nice jacket and boots they only offered us 15 percent . For buying a bike we would only get a T-shirt instead I picked out a chrome little license bracket cheaper than the shirt and they gave us that in place of a T-shirt wow......is all I can say the first guy that said he would call me back said they may send us to a detailed close for us my husband has already spent three hrs cleaning on it since no one wants to bother calling us back very poor customer service the blind leading the blind at this dealership read more
