Been coming to Pinders Seafood & Marketplace since the late 70's when living in Palm Beach Gardens and Military Trail ended at PGA Blvd. Now, when I visit my brother in Jupiter, I bring a cooler to stock up on fresh seafood before I head back home to St. Simons Island, GA This is the best seafood market in the county hands down! The selection of seafood is amazing and their soups, salads, dips, condiments etc. are the best. All flavorful, fresh and the best quality! My go to's are the XLrg Key West Pink Shrimp, conch, fish dip (regular & jalapeño), crab dip, Kelchner's Cocktail sauce, grouper & yellow tail snapper. FYI, there is soooooo much more! The folks who man the seafood counter are helpful and are willing to trim the selection of fish you have made for your dinner. I would say this market is an elevated fish market with anything & everything you could need for a party or intimate dinner. All items are displayed orderly and logically. I got the prepared lobster Mac & cheese and it was terrible . The Velveeta taste was overwhelming and started to congeal as it cooled. I followed their instructions to heat in regular oven at. 350 but didn't help. Fresh seafood did look good. read more

We stumbled upon this fresh market after shopping at the man cave next-door, all the fish looks wonderful and fresh and you could tell it was, the smell was absolutely delicious because they do cooked food. I then go to check in, and had a deal to redeem and they did not want to honor it, they stated they were not doing it. We looked at all the seafood it was absolutely fresh we found it a little on the expensive side but I guess you pay for the quality which I accept it would be very very good quality!! Everybody was very nice, and the location was very very clean I don't know if I would drive all the way back up there. We will think about it it was an a 45 minute drive for us. Made a fun little restaurant passport for all the locations I wanted to revisit with the family - kind of a memory lane. Okay so this isn't an actual restaurant, but I included based on the food premise...and that I'll be going to a restaurant in lieu! I have found that this establishment has deteriorated in customer service during these last many months of Covid. Like so very many customer oriented businesses, they join a sad but growing number who find nothing wrong - and almost everything noble and virtuous - to berate and shame their customers because of their fears and paranoias surrounding Covid. The last time I visited - I was verbally accosted by an employee who was not even serving me. From across the store, there came a loud scream to immediately leave or put up my mask. Nothing polite or courteous about her encountering me, and even the employee who was servicing me seemed totally taken back but this outburst. It's hard to re-gain customer trust and support when this is the atmosphere that is created by out-of-control and poorly instructed employees. Employers like Pinders might consider a concentrated effort to properly train and inform their employees, so as not to shame, guilt and bully their customers. We bought almost 4 lbs of Stone crabs a few weeks back, which was over $200. We ended up having to throw out at least half of them. They were the worst stone crabs we have ever had. Some were milley, and some were so hard, you couldn't eat them, almost like they were frozen. I will not buy them from Pinder's ever again. I got a call from an employee telling me he had wahoo. I told him I would be there at 2:00 as I was 45 minutes away. When I arrived they knew my name but said they were holding it for someone else and would not sell me any. The last time I got some halibut from them and live worms crawled out in front of company at our dinner party... going to have to call it quits with pricey pinders.
