No one answered the phone, and we left messages every time. We even tried to call the service department and the same thing. No one answered the phone just leave a message. I'm starting to wonder if leopard is going out of business because they clearly don't want to sell their product. If they don't answer the phone in sales or service and you don't get any calls back what kind of after sales support do you think you'd get... We think very poor.

Weather delayed our pickup, and slip space was hard to come by, but he came through for us. When we did arrive, time was short but he scheduled everything so we were able to depart on time. I tried to free it up as best as I could by lubricating the steering rod and ensuring the engine turned freely on its pivot, but nothing worked. Monday morning I began calling all local vendors looking for a steering cable that I might be able to replace. Fortunately, I finally contacted Inflatable Boat Pro and spoke with Ken, one of the owners. He said that he would check for a cable and call me back. As promised, he called back, had a cable, and advised the 50 hp engine might have to come off to replace the cable. If I could get the tender to a local boat ramp he would arrange for a pick up. I explained that I was trying to cross on Wednesday and he said he would do what he could. Ken's driver met me as promised within two hours, put the tender on a trailer, and drove me back to Hall of Fame Marina where our trawler Shangri-La was located. Tuesday morning Ken sent me several photos of the engine removed from the tender and the work underway. Not only were these folks able to replace the steering cable that day, they also did a full annual service on the outboard. Ken himself picked me up at the marina with the tender on the trailer and drove me to the ramp and launched me Tuesday afternoon in a perfectly functioning tender. This simply could not have been a better experience. Prompt response, professional services, accommodating our time constraints with a 24 hour turnaround, and a very reasonable charge for expertly performed high quality work were provided. This level of service is extraordinary. I highly recommend Inflatable Boat Pro to anyone seeking an inflatable boat, dinghy, or for service work. You can't go wrong with these folks! It is good that fate was on our side and looking out for us. Our friend that recommended your facility was just charged an exorbitant amount for a repair that should have been covered by a warranty. When I questioned him concerning the repair cost he told me that the purchase was "without warranty". I have never heard of such a thing. As a former business owner, my word was my bond. I would never cheat a customer over a couple of dollars concerning a repair. To begin with, your employee was woefully unprepared. I assisted your customer with the delivery of his dinghy to the launch ramp. When we arrived, your man was late (first problem). The second problem was that he was unprepared to make the necessary, minor repair to the dinghy as he had no access to electricity to run the inflation pump (a low cost inverter should be part of the stock equipment) which should be backed up by a manual pump. The repair should have been made at the launch ramp and you should have eaten the cost of the repair as a matter of good relations with customers both current and future. I was having lunch with your customer when he got your bill, a bill that should never have been generated. To say the least, I will not be back for that dinghy. You have stolen from your customer at the cost of your good name. I will be posting this on YELP to assist your potential customers in making the right decision which is obviously to go to another dealer with scruples. The only reason I have given this dealer one star is because there is nothing lower. Negative stars would be appropriate.

I made the mistake of hiring Kurt in February of 2023. The 2006 Lazzara 74' I was purchasing was…read moreway outside his normal small boat experience and as his survey proves, he simply did not understand the systems he was surveying. He never even looked in the aft bilge at the badly leaking steering pump ($2500 fix) and the rusted through hydraulic platform pump ($6100 fix excluding labor), during the sea trial he didn't understand the stabilizers were not functioning ($5400 fix) but the most important thing he missed was the completely empty, discharged main cylinder of the fire suppression system that was electronically bypassed to prevent the alarm from sounding and allowing the engines to start. It also had a 2017 inspection tag (5 years past required inspection). Additionally he noted two of the three-cylinder system were undersized on their own, literally proving in writing he did not remotely understand the actuator/time delay nature of this system. At $10,000 this was his most expensive mistake but it's more than that. He made a solid point of showing me two $39 fire extinguishers that were slightly undercharged, one would think a single pic of the mail cylinder gauge would be standard, as it's the one thing any insurance company would want to see. On this aspect alone I strongly considered litigation. If there's one thing a surveyor should understand its fire suppression systems and Kurt was clearly way out of this depth. Considering Kurt cost me $24,000 in total I gave him the chance to make it right with a deal on resurveying now that I've fixed these problems. He was completely unrepentant and quoted $2500 for a second, in-water survey (and the first survey was way overpriced at $4000) No deal, no sympathy. I also found out after the survey he is not a current SAMS and NAMS member, not something he made a point of telling me in advance. When I questioned him about it he said it was a non-issue and blew it off.
