I checked out this place thru GROUPON and wasn't disappointed. The staff there were kind and treated us well. We were First Timers to such a venue and my son and I were both excited . The staff equipped us with the appropriate gear and range rules in order to conduct ourselves as if we were seasoned Pro's. Looking to visit again soon.

An indoor archery range that welcomes beginners, experts, and everything in between! My husband and I came here while in Tampa and it was a great activity for a super hot day. Neither of us had ever seen an indoor range for archery before and wanted to try it out. All of the workers were friendly and so helpful with questions & getting us set up. It had a pretty good number of people there for a Saturday afternoon, but they had plenty of lanes. I loved that they had people of all skills and everyone felt comfortable. They lay out all of the rules and I saw the workers giving pretty detailed instructions and tips to people who wanted it! It's also nice they had targets that you could put on a foam block that rolled - so you could shoot closer if needed or put it at different distances compared to just having the far wall. It was definitely a fun activity and I'd recommend going to anyone - whether you're an experience bow hunter or just looking for an activity to try. It would be fun as a couple activity, friend outing, or family outing! They also have a store front and a spot where they would tune your bow if you needed that done to your own.

At 20 yards, after they helped me sight in my bow.

I was blow away at how friendly and helpful everyone at Adventures Archery was when I came in there today. My bow needed a bit of a "tune up" and they got it working great and sighted in for me! I had such a good time on their range getting a feel for my bow again, after many years of non-use!

Awesome place to go for anyone interested in Archery! 30 bucks for me and the wifey to shoot for an hour with equipment and all. We've never shot and had someone come over and teach us the basics and make sure we were okay before leaving giving us tips as well. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. There were a few children there (8-10 years old) and they did fine as well. Seems the "normal clientele" lend themselves pretty well to helping newcomers and were very helpful and adamant. For 30 bucks I will definitely go again though I will grab some gloves as the bow string did start tearing my fingers up after about 30 minutes or so. Will go again, good price, good atmosphere!

Family in town, and we found Adventure Archery to be good fun for first timers. Providing us with a quick 5 min lesson mostly safety before cutting us loose. Regulars were helpful with tips and AA was a nice spot to kill some time with family. We called ahead for space and bow rental and we're in and out with no fuss.

They were so good with my son, very patient and kind! They took the time to show him and change his bow out for him!

The Intro Classes are offered every Saturday, and you must take one before you are allowed to take even the beginning archery classes here. The area the school is located in is a little bit sketchy, but don't let that deter you. In the Intro Class, the owner Bryce does a brief overview of different bows, and rules, and gear, and then you actually get to shoot. After taking the intro, you have the option of signing up for beginner classes (or you can test 'up' if you are experienced already). They offer classes 4 times a week, and it's either $25/class or $80 for the whole month with unlimited classes. That is definitely the way to go, because you will need to/ want to practice, practice, practice! The building this is in also doubles as a martial arts dojo, so no shoes are allowed on the mat. It gets very, very warm inside, with only fans to keep it cool, so dress accordingly. You shoot at targets about 10 ft away. TAS provides all the gear you need: bow, arrows, arm guard, finger tab, and targets. They even have bows for lefties like me! During class, the two instructors walk up and down the line behind the shooters giving tips and comments to improve one's form and shooting skills. They also have an arrangement with The Archery Shop on N. Florida Ave., so some of the classes are held there. It's fun to switch things up and shoot at this location, because this range is about 20 ft long. I have enjoyed myself immensely taking these classes, and highly recommend this school if you have an interest in archery.

I texted George's number and he responded almost instantly, yes We are open from 11-2... hmm website said 11-5. He had a party of kids coming to learn archery. So I made my way over to the springs of tarpon, and found I had passed by this place for 20+ years! I made my way around the left side following the signs and found the range filled with archers and a table with venison and other snacks. George was running around getting the people set up with a lane, on his phone, and then he saw me. I said "do you sell bows?" "Inside" was the reply. I went in to the office and looked around. Deer heads, antlers, and everything a human could need to enter the ancient world of archery. Soon after a man entered, I suppose to check on me while George was busy. A girl came in next and commented on my shirt, it was a good one. Probably thanks to ginger and her t-shirt event! They mumbled something about finding a target, but I knew the score. Theft prevention, and boy does that say something about George's customers. They have his back! George came in and I made it clear I wanted a Bow set up Today. The good old American tradition of instant gratification! However George was crazy busy he said and could begin the basics for like $300. I said "I want to be able to hunt with it." He replied " alright I can get you started for $550.00" "Let's do It!" was my answer. He took my name and number and said" I'll text you later." He did indeed text me and said he started the setup but was wiped out from the kids. He then texted me the videos of the party. I agreed that the party did indeed look tiring, and we agreed to Monday after 5 pm appt. I got off work Monday and texted him my Eta. He was waiting for me and we went in to the range to acclimate me to my new toy, he gave basic instructions and my first shot was a bullseye. I then proceeded to miss and make mistakes till George got me dialed in. I was amazed at how fast he had me casting a good group of arrows. "I'm sold!" I said. We made the transaction and he threw in some tips for hunting for free! I left a happy customer and will be seeing George a lot in the future. Remember when Covid had the grocery stores empty of meat? What do you do? Starve? Eat beans? Not this Guy, i will be practicing till i can supply my family and friends with Organic, sustainable, Venison. Do yourself a favor and try this at least once, it's not a fad like Axe throwing.

Everybody else is like $10 up on line of 3-7 in some stores. I only bought 2 for now. Still need to test it for later. I been buying my camping kit little by little now that im getting my body back in shape. Want to do some primitive camping but i think ill do the regular one for now until i trust my body to do this in nowhere. Did not know we got camp for free or under 10$ buck a night in primitive camping. Bro i been bummed out for nothing! Got a small mess kit thay will fit a small to medium backpack. Doesnt weight anything. Its perfect. Grabbed a rod holder im just going to tie on a tree or dock. Before leaving i hunted down a new pair of shoes. The mayority i own for adevnture and exploring are too heavy gor my medical nightmare. Francheska was amazing and help me out looking for good deals and perfect shoes. Walked out with a rugged crisscross type. Needed something light, durable and that held my ankle in place. I think they are Cabelas brand ones they were like $35 discounted. Lets say free cuz it finally happened. I used all my member points today lol killed most of my things. Then on the way out i donated to the Boy scouts of America. I was talking with the madam there that its crazy the Girls scouts got like cookies n cakes but the boys got popcorn? It make me crabby! They need jerky and rootbeer! We need like a health brand to make them like protein bars or something like that. Overall i had fun and survived not over buying, they got a crap ton of camping food at buy 2 get 1 free. But i fixed that by buying a dehydrator many years ago. If i had a freeze dryer? I would never need to buy anything in storm season and beyond. Easy camp food: make soups and stews. Then pour into dehydrator or high wall cookie pan and shove in oven as 176-245 degrees. Peel off the dried soup and shove into a zip lock or vacuum seal bag with a humidity packet. U can keep frozen without the packet for long time but these last perfectly for camping. Just add warm water and it rehydrates. Too much work? Then buy the specials its good. They usually 12$+ each bag feeds like two people or give you two meals. Which you can just open and reseal in smaller bags that way they last way longer n you camp longer.
