My favorite range to visit. The RSOs are always helpful, whether it be just general conversation or tips with zeroes for various firearms. It also feels safer than some other outdoor places that are in the area. Anyone I've taken had had to show competency with a firearm to ensure range safety. This is something that I have not seen happen regularly at other ranges I've been too, even some of the "chain" ranges. There's a cooler with water that they provide which is super helpful on hot days. (Everyday in FL) They do have a longer range that goes up to 100yds I believe, but I haven't used it yet. I tend to spend more time at the 25yd and the steel range. If you are going for the range and not for clays, try to avoid their tournament days or you might find yourself walking to the pistol range with your gear. I did have that happen once, but was lucky enough to hitch a ride from one of the workers on my way back. Even now, and hour away from them, it's still my go-to range. read more

Great spot to bust clays in the Tampa Bay Area! I've never used the pistol/rifle range but the sporting clays courses are great. Trap and skeet ranges are available as well as a five-stand. Not sure if the five-stand is working or open. It's seems to be closed each time I go. Highly recommend this venue when you need to bust some clays! read more

I have shot here many times in the last several years. Started on the sporting clay courses but now almost exclusively shoot trap or skeet. These ranges are rarely used except for a handful of shooters. They recently replaced the trap on the trap range with a hydraulic system that is top of the line. Staff is helpful and friendly. Cost for trap/skeet is several dollars less per round than another range that I occasionally shoot at. There are ranges for pistol and rifle that I have not used so I can't speak to them. There is a patterning board for which spray paint is supplied to paint the steel patterning plate. read more

Pistol range and rifle range are great. The RSO are nice, helpful, and informative. The front office staff mainly the middle aged woman is rude and condescending. I needed new ear pro and she watched me fumble with the new ear pro and where to place the batteries in their terminal. I asked for help as to where the terminal was and the request was ignored. Men from the event came in and because I was in the way of them purchasing she finally offered help. I thanked her for her help. This place is fun. The office staff could be better. read more

If it's shotgun, Sports, this is highly recommend. If it's regular weapons, such as pistol or carbine yeah it's probably not a top-notch place. However, if it's for shotgun competition, they don't sponsor other competitions. They are slightly on the expensive side but I think they're also one of the few that have as many shotgun or trap ski in the area read more

It is a neat place, it's like a golf course, you can walk or drive a cart around the course. Some traps are easy and some traps are really hard. Patient is the key. Great place to spent time with your family and friends. read more

This was definitely the best outdoor range I have been to. They are very by the book I'm terms of safety and have a variety of different clay shooting ranges along with a pistol and 100m rifle range. My Dad was in town this weekend and wanted to take my 13 & 15yr old to the shooting range for the first time. He gave a full safety briefing at home. When we go to the range the ladies in the office were nice and gave us info, as this was our first time here. The RSO's at the pistol range were great! Also, a full safety briefing. My kids were nervous first time Gun handlers, but took in everything they were teaching them. They did amazing!!! The RSO's were quite impressed and I loved their encouragement. Safety is top priority here and they follow it to a T. It was a Hot morning, but the covered shelters make a big difference. Cooler of water on site if needed. Port a potties on site also. read more

Full disclosure, I was a cop for 10 years, had a department range, and have been to several pistol ranges in my life. None of them have ever even come close to how nice and well run this range is. I have never shot clays before at a range, the last time was off of a cruise ship when I was 10. Yes, this was a long time ago when they still did this and would let a 10 year old do it. so, today was really my first time. I had so much fun. Place is beautiful. It is as pretty as anything we would have in California. And the facility is far nicer. Everyone was so friendly, made a new buddy with Wendall. Clay shooting is a lot of fun, and I can't imagine a better place to do it. A lot of variety, quality equipment. Can't believe a place like this exists. Like a fine golf course, but for guns. Thought it would cost a lot more. This is a great place with great value. If you are in the area, give it a shot, pun intended. read more

Very unhelpful staff that does not wear masks or care about social distancing. When you ask for assistance they are not even caring enough to show you around the place since you have not been there before. Apparently no bathrooms there as the staff does not point them out and they are not on any map they provide you. Their microphone system is a complete joke as it fails to constantly work. The microphone shuts off multiple times and you need to reset it over and over while TRYING to have a good time. The skeet range is a joke as you can tell why no one was there to begin with. When checking out they do not even care to ask what was wrong or how to make it better. The hospitality of the staff at the desk is far removed from their heads as they are just wanting to get the people through as quickly as possible and do not care about newcomers. After you fill out the waiver you are surely on your own, and that is not a good thing when you are at a facility with a lot of people with guns around. Makes me think they do not care about safety at all and just about taking in as much money as possible. Horrible staff and equipment that fails to work as you cannot shoot more than one clay at a time without something going wrong with the equipment or the mircophone continuously falling off your clothes so you cannot even have a good time. Kind of disappointed when we last went there. They were out of 9mm for the pistol range. I know there's an ammo shortage but other places have been stocked, what is their issue? We already had ammo but thought of staying longer with another box of 50. Oh well, plenty of other places to shoot. read more

Expansive outdoor facility with friendly and knowledgeable RSO's and very reasonable prices. It's a family friendly range and their is a covered pavilion so you can make a day of it for group events as well. It's primarily shotgun/skeet shooting, with various ranges depending on your skill level. There is also a pistol range, so it covers all the basis. The outdoor pistol range is nice. If Al or Gabriel are the RSO's who are on duty, you will have good time. If Jack/John is on duty, don't go. He is overbearing and wants to show that he is "in charge". The number one priority on any range should be safety. Jack/John doesn't provide that type is atmosphere or oversight. read more

FishHawk Sporting clays is the best around period. The Grounds are well kept, Golf carts are available for their numerous and well varied clay stations. You can shoot in whatever environment fits your needs or liking from a water vista to deep woods to a a few different second story stations. The Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The Equipment on the grounds works very well and is frequently serviced. And if there is ever an issue with any clay they are quick and non-questioning in crediting that clay. Water is set up around the ground which is just the icing on the cake that makes this a 5 star review easy. I cannot recommend this spot enough. Have a great and safe time shooting here. read more

This is a wonderful course. There is the 8 spots at the entrance that are for beginners. Then there is the intermediate/ advanced course down the way that is changed every Friday. The course is my personal favorite of all in Florida. The place is always pristinely manicured and clean. The staff is incredibly nice as are the patrons. You can rent a golf cart or walk the entire course. They sell shells and beverages at the shop. Otherwise there is a jug of water towards the back course. Of all courses in Florida they close the latest, 7pm. I wish I lived near here I could come every week!!! So green and beautiful read more

What a beautiful range. For anyone new to this sport, don't hesitate about giving it a try. They actually have shotguns for rent ($20.00), golf carts as well ($20.00) but the course would be a very easy walk, shells...everything you need. It's almost like golfing with a gun...sorry, it's an easy analogy to use. You start out at stand one and move to the next when your finished. You can keep score on a card like you would when you play golf. They also have an archery course. I plan to go again and will have more time to check out what else they have to offer. We were there at The end of the day so we were pushed for time. Hope to return soon. read more

Great facility and a good time with my wife. It was her first time and she did great. I rented a 20 gauge, rented a golf cart, bought 100 rounds, and used 111 clays. We spent less than 120 bucks. Of course we could have saved a lot of money by bringing our own shotgun and buying our own ammo, but it was a "day date". It is well maintained with plenty of shooting stations (which included begginer lanes). They also have a pistol range. I highly recommend Fishhawk Clays. read more

We like to come here but since that time we did not go back anymore, my wife is so disappointed with range master who is Mr. Know IT ALL. A great facility for both sporting clays and pistol range. Fees are quite reasonable and the staff is great! Lee Ann does a fantastic job in the office and folks like John, the head RSO at the pistol range, are friendly and accommodating. The pistol range is especially nice and far better than any indoor range. Lots of room, very accessible, and plenty of different things to do, including steels. The RSOs are quite knowledgeable and will offer assistance when you request. The fact that FSCs requires a range orientation and checkout by an RSO before you ever set foot on the range makes it super safe. I like going here as it seems like you never encounter the idiots with the hand cannons flipping brass into your lane like you do at the local indoor ranges. Everyone I've met at the pistol range seems very professional and safety minded. I highly recommend the range membership, as it's a great deal if you're a regular shooter. To be able to pop in for a session after work and it only cost $10 is a heck of a deal in my opinion. I shoot clays as well, but I enjoy the pistol range so much I rarely do them any more. The white course is short enough to allow you to move through it easily in a short time and not so challenging that it takes the wind out of your sails, so to speak. I'm not brave enough to try the red course, but that day will come. read more

Shot both course today had a great time. Shot 125 targets and only had two bad targets equipment worked great. Golf cart was like new. Porta johns were clean. Well set up and clean facility. Staff was super nice. Easily walkable course. We did the 16 stand course and it was about a mile total but plenty of shady spots and water was provided at the halfway and end points. Stands are well stocked and we only had one "no bird" the whole time. Loved the shooting over the ponds. Will definitely come back next time in Florida. read more
