I chose this plumber because of the reviews, however I'm extremely disappointed. He fixed a leak for our toilet by changing the wax ring, he didn't apply a sealant after, and he said it's not a standard. It's an extra service we have to ask for. He charged us $29 to replace a bolt and nut. We asked why the upcharge, and he replied "you should've seen how disgusting your toilet flange was" which is unprofessional and rude. read more

I chose this plumber based on the glowing reviews. We had a minor plumbing issue but it prevented us from using a sink. The fix was more expensive and took longer than anticipated but we were okay with that as long as our problem was solved. The next day we realized the sink was leaking into the cabinet under it. He came out and "fixed" that. The day after, we had the same leaking under the sink. We decided not to call again and we got someone else to tighten everything up and stop the leaking. I cannot recommend this plumber. It wasn't a good experience. I have no idea how he has so many great reviews. read more

Tony came to our home to fix our washing machine drain. He graciously assisted my mother with explaining what needed to be done. He spent about 2 hrs assessing the drain and waited my mother a price. The toilet in our master bathroom had a slow leak from the bottom. I got on Yelp and found Tony at AEQ and he was able to come out the same afternoon to diagnose the issue. He quoted $69, but because I told him that we would try to fix it ourselves, he charged nothing. We bought the part from Home Depot, but it didn't work (because the part wasn't the right size). So Tony came back out a few days later and fixed it in addition to fixing the water supply line that also started leaking! Tony was on time both times he came to our house (in fact he may have been early the second time!) and was professional and thorough. He was easy to get in contact with via text and we really enjoyed working with him. We hope to work with him again as AEQ does more than just plumbing! read more

The main water line was leaking strongly from the meter box near the street. I had to call the city to shut off the main. I sent out a Yelp request in the evening, and it sent it out to multiple businesses - I was not expecting any responses until the following morning. Still, Tony responded within 20 minutes of the inquiry late in the evening. I appreciated his willingness to respond at that time and was able to get scheduled for an estimate the following morning. He came on time at 8 am and explained the whole process. He provided a fair quote and availability to work on it today. I He found that the pipe connection had a small crack at the end of the pipe thread, so he needed to replace the connection. He got to work immediately after getting the parts, and the repair was done before 1130! He communicated well, was professional, and had a positive and nice attitude on the job. Sooooo I thought I was badass cleaning my insinkerator with egg shells cause the internet said so.. could've also been all the food I shoved in instead of walking to my trash can..point is..I super clogged my sink.
