Pay whatever but stay somewhere else. Check-in process was felt similar to the booking process at the county drunk tank. Very strange people roaming hallways that made us nervous. Room was under construction and unfinished. When I asked about the air conditioning, the clerk came to the room and huffed about having to change from heating to cooling, 'you can't have both.' AC was a window unit stuck through the wall and not plugged into the wall. Even if I connected it, it only works with the heat disconnected. Luggage cart looked like an industrial wagon and I had trouble moving it empty. Shower was a hodge-podge of amature plumbing (saving grace was a good shower head) that was wonkety to use. The window had been replaced some time ago but no one bothered replacing the trim - raw sheet rock that looked like it was crudely broken into shape. Outside of the building was grossly peeling paint and faded signage. We were really uncomfortable at the property and checked out early. read more

First of all, to not have to leave a $200 cash deposit at the front desk. They can't take a major credit card. How do I know I'm getting my money back. I ended up losing $130 on a reservation I made because I'm not going to leave more money. However, there was no refund either because I went through some other site which is horrible. This place was filthy, hornets nest all over the entrance of the pool. In the pool, dead & live hornets all over the floor. Watch where you step! Garbages in the hallway, staff was very very unpleasant. Rude, not very hygienic or pleasant. Sketchy people standing around the hotel. If you're a single woman seeing to stay here, I don't suggest it. Pay the higher price for your safety! We paid for a double a queen, revived a single queen room. The contentantal breakfast included cereal with a muffin. Be prepared to share the same milk with the rest of the hotel if you stay here as well! read more

UPDATE: I just checked out and I can't say enough about how wonderful all the staff are! They DO NOT deserve the low reviews. They are amazing! Good: Clean, comfortable, quiet, great hot tub Bad: No breakfast in off-peak season, no in-room coffee maker CALL HOTEL DIRECTLY FOR BEST PRICE! I came here for a nice relaxing getaway and I'm getting that! Front desk staff was nice both at check-in and later when I needed something. The hotel is definitely dated but I was impressed that they replaced usually gross old hotel carpet with laminate. Much easier to keep clean. The room is incredibly comfortable and I couldn't believe how quiet it was. The fridge and microwave look brand new. And everything looked super clean. My only complaint is no coffee maker in the room. Definitely a bummer. THE HOT TUB IS AWESOME!! Being that I came for a getaway, having a good soak is great. Nothing special here but the staff members were friendly, CLEAN rooms and a pool and hot tub. Room was small with double size bed with clean sheets, pillows and towels! Coffee was available 24 hours but breakfast was temporarily discontinued due to staff shortage. Basic cable tv. Room for 2 was $65. read more

For the price of the hotel I assumed that it would be ok but not perfect. I drove up to the hotel knowing immediately that I have made a mistake. I walked in to a smell that made me cautious and a sight that made me nervous. The shock only got worse the closer to my room I got and the room was the big finally. I felt uncomfortable with the idea of touching anything let alone use the toilet. as I observed the bed, I was horrified with the sight of a large and obvious blood stain in the middle of the visually unsatisfying comforter. The yellow concrete walls made me feel like I was in a nightmare where I went to prison. Not to mention the pillows. I believe that coffins get better pillows. read more

This place is kinda scary-lookin'. I also have to say it was the loudest motel I've ever stayed in. I was in a room that was right under the stairs and when people walked down, it *literally* made the picture frame above my bed rattle against my wall. What... the... hell? I heard every single word of every conversation held in the hallway. Those doors are thin, y'all. The mattress was super lumpy and provided zero support. On the plus side, they have a fridge and a microwave. "Breakfast" was juice, coffee, Cheerios, Life cereal and some sad-looking bread items. But hey... I didn't get murdered. read more

Owner is terribly rude. I was checked in for 2 nights and got called twice in the morning to confirm I was was staying the second night. A maid walked in on me even though I had the, "do not disturb" sign on the door. I was woken up three times to something that should have been in the system already. I normally don't give bad reviews but the carpet was so gross. Make sure you wear slippers on your feet. We spent as little time as possible in the room. When we first arrive they gave us a key to an occupied room. We went back and got a other room. When we passed by the first room 2 police officers were at the door trying to get into the room. Breakfast was good. Pancakes, waffles, bananas, coffee. Couldn't wait to get out of there in the AM. read more

Hotel is very clean, and comfortable beds..main issue is the doors and walls do not suppress the neighbors noises and the bathroom drain hardly works. Microwave and fridge in room. A dump. $130 for a room worth about $30. The front desk guy acted like he was doing us a favor. When we parked, some crazy and/or drunk woman yelled at us from the porch of the house behind the place "you can't park there, that's the rules". No indication whatsoever that the parking spot was reserved. We moved the car anyway, didn't want to worry about what the nut might do. The room was dirty, and felt more like a cell than lodging. The air conditioner was literally duct taped to the wall. I have pics. The paint was peeling, except for the spots that had been repainted, badly, which looked like a child had done them. I reserved my room via Booking.com to make for a quicker check-in, yet the woman at the front desk still took a good 10 minutes to check me in. The groundskeeper is a parking nazi. Instead of simply asking me to pull my car forward he got very nasty and condescending. This was witnessed by my husband. He also did not confront the two guys who parked the same way so it is apparently only women he is comfortable treating this way. Although my initial experience with the staff at this hotel was extremely unpleasant, I found the place to be okay once I arrived. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful-only the crotchety old woman that answered the phone continued her quest to be the most miserable front desk agent on earth. She didn't even greet us when we walked up to the counter, just kept staring at her computer screen until I said something about checking in. Comically, when I asked her for a printed copy of my receipt she just said "no", and then stared at me for an awkward 7 seconds or so before telling me that since I booked online that travel service would have to be the one to give me the receipt-they will not print me a copy. It's just a piece of paper right? I don't have a printer at home so beware of the no receipt thing if you happen to be here on business. None of the amenities worked while I was there (hot tub, pool, sauna)-and even during cleaning they looked so old and dilapidated I probably wouldn't swim in there. The continental breakfast was two different kinds of cereal and coffee-although I never saw milk the entire week I was there, just powdered creamer. No fruit, pop tarts, toast, muffins or other items you often see at hotel breakfasts. Parking was ample and the hotel is at the far southern end of Kalispell-good if you want to be close to downtown restaurants or head south to Flathead Lake or see the bison in Polson. Whitefish is about 15 minutes north (about 35 min to Glacier National Park) but this place was less expensive than the Whitefish hostel. You will see a few families living in this hotel but there were no incidents and barely any noise when I was there. The rooms on the back end of the hotel are pet friendly and there is a smoking area outside and grass for them to go. There was a small fridge in the room and microwave so you can get by eating cheap for the week too. WiFi is included in the cost of this place which is great news. I did check a few other hotels that charged for WiFi so make sure to look for that when booking in Kalispell. Overall Aero is still a pretty good deal for the price but don't expect world class service. read more

The rooms are small but clean. The hall smells a little like smoke but our non smoking room didn't. The bed was comfy and there was a nice smaller flat screen TV. They have an indoor pool, though we didn't use it. There was a tub and plenty of hot water. The towels are thin and on the smaller side and they smelled like chlorine. The wall mounted ac unit sounded like a jet engine when it comes on, and it didn't keep the room consistently cool. Overall, for the price (we paid $50 for the night) it was a great value. If you are looking for luxury, go to the holiday Inn, but if you need a clean, safe, and inexpensive place for the night, this is a great option. read more

I give this 5 stars for being a 2 star motel! It's clean and the ladies who work here are so nice, the daughter who works days is Brittany and her older mom named Deb work at night. The simple breakfast of cereal bread bagels and muffins is just the carb load one needs to have a great day. It was super quiet during my stay and I wasn't uncomfortable in any way. Great price for straight up simple room with tv bathroom and breakfast. Recommended by me. read more

They have smoking rooms intermixed in with the non-smoking rooms which means you'll have to walk the hallway and breathe in all that wondrous scent whether you want to or not. This place sucks. I made a reservation 3 days in advance giving my credit card and all. When we arrived we were told we were on the waiting list. They put us in a cabin in the back which was suffocatingly hot. There was one broken air conditioner and they had no fans. While I was in the lobby 2 different people came in to complain that their nonsmoking rooms smelled like cigarettes. We stayed a couple nights here with our small dog. It's a little rough around the edges due to its age but as long as you don't expect modern fancy it is nice. Locals use it as a staycation destination so they are comfortable returning customers. The wifi was plenty fast. The sauna is a nice treat. Breakfast is self serve and adequate. Staff was helpful. We will stay there again when we visit Kalispell. read more

Cheap and lady at the checkin counter was very nice. However this hotel is my first encounter with bedbugs. As a biologist with entomological intrests I feel confident with my identification of both nymph and adult bedbugs. At least they don't spread disease but I'd still rather not be fed upon. read more

Cheap? Yes. Worth it? I would not stay here again and I've stayed in some bad motels and inns. Normally, a non-smoking room that smells like an ash tray and an A/C unit that smells like urine only costs around $40/night. This place was almost three times that. They must be in cahoots with all the local hotels to jack up prices for anyone heading into/out of the nearby parks. Hot tub was slimy, too. This room was one of the cheaper ones in town however the smell was really bad especially with the air conditioning in. The room and hotel in general is very run down and doesn't seem well cared for. The bed was really uncomfortable and make sure you pack your own shampoo and soap as they didn't have any. read more
