Aesthete Family Winery & Farm is one of those places that keeps getting better every time we visit. The wines are excellent--everything we tasted was sooo good--but what really sets Aesthete apart is the experience. This is a true family-owned winery, and you can feel it the moment you arrive. They make you feel less like a customer and more like a guest of the family. It's relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely personal. It's also wonderfully family-friendly, with farm animals on the property that kids can enjoy, and dogs are welcome too. The setting is really special. Aesthete sits along a tributary of the Russian River, and one of our favorite things to do is settle into one of their big Adirondack chairs under the shady oak trees and enjoy a wine tasting while listening to the creek running by. It's incredibly peaceful and feels a world away from the typical winery tasting room experience. And then there's the food. They have a pizza oven on-site, and the pizzas are outstanding. Many of the toppings come straight from their own farm, as do ingredients for their very fresh salads. There's something pretty great about enjoying a fantastic glass of wine with a pizza made with ingredients grown right there on the property. We've been to a lot of wineries in Sonoma County, and Aesthete is one of the places we genuinely look forward to returning to. What a stunning & unique winery! So elated to revisit this farm by the river with my family (kids & dog friendly). We came here on a weekday & thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness & the outside scenery. They offer brick oven pizza as well. We tried the cheese & sausage pizza, which were delicious! All of the winery staffs were amicable; especially the female sommelier. The winery has some farm animals to entertain kiddos too. The five roosters were aggressive with stealing guests food off of the picnic tables, lol! read more

We really loved our experience here. We had a wine tasting by the creek and the view and ambience were just incredible and so relaxing. The service was great too, my partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and felt like we were getting the VIP treatment during our visit. This is a beautiful spot to wine taste and relax for an afternoon. We stopped in with our family of 6 (with 4 kids) and everyone was happy. Today was my 26th birthday, and after a disappointing experience at another winery, Aesthete completely turned our day around. I had broken my foot and ankle five weeks ago, so my mom, boyfriend, friend, and I had driven about 40 minutes hoping to find a beautiful place to celebrate with a glass of wine and take a few birthday photos. We called Aesthete to see if they accepted walk-ins, and from the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. I didn't catch the names of the two women who helped us, but they truly went above and beyond. One was the owner's daughter if I'm not mistaken. Absolute sweethearts. They even surprised us with a complimentary snack because it was my birthday. That small gesture meant so much and completely changed the course of our day. The rosé Pinot Noir was absolutely amazing--even as someone who usually doesn't enjoy white wines! We also ordered the wood-fired pizza, which was delicious. The property is beautiful, with animals and a peaceful creek you can walk to, making it such a relaxing place to spend an afternoon. We left smiling, feeling celebrated, and already talking about our next visit. Thank you for making my 26th birthday so special. We'll definitely be back! read more

Beautiful winery! We enjoyed delicious sauvignon blancs, rosés and reds right by the river bank and were delighted to see many fish swimming along and jumping in and out of the water. The family is so kind and welcoming and it's wonderful to walk around the property to say hi to the goats and take in the garden sights while enjoying your wine. We were also lucky enough to visit on a pizza day!! The crisp dough and savory bites made for a perfect pairing. We'll be back and bringing more family with us next time! read more

Absolutely beautiful winery. Come sit by the river for your tasting if the weather permits. If not, they have a beautiful tasting room and patio. The wine is excellent. We preferred the Pinots but all the wines were very good. They have goats, sheep, and outdoor areas for the kids. BUT the very best part are the people. It is family owned. Julia and Lukas run most things but the staff are also amazing. Mason and Jim are both fascinating and top notch. Come. Eat (when they are serving pizzas)! Enjoy. You won't regret it. read more

I'd consider the tastings near the water our family's new "happy place". This place is an absolute gem, the owners and staff are so kind, welcoming, and warm. This was our 2nd time with our toddler and baby, and everyone had a blast and the pizza was delicious! We are so happy for this business and to see them grow. If we weren't already married, this would be the place haha. We were a walk in around 3:45 and they accommodated us. It did not feel rushed at all. We hung out til 6 and probably would have stayed later if it wasn't for the kids! Tons of other groups as well. I recommend them for all types of groups but especially families, there is something for everyon, even those are N/A! The goats were loved by all, especially our toddlers. read more

Gorgeous new estate with goats and fantastic Sauvignon Blanc! Made an impromptu visit to this gorgeous new winery in Healdsburg. While you may have tried Aesthete's wines before (they have been selling online since 2016), they only recently opened in this location (March 2024). Their tasting menu is $40 and includes 7 splashes (3 Sauvignon blancs, 2 rose of pinots and 2 pinots). The barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc is where it's at for me! Smooth and creamy, with a hint of honeysuckle and nectarines. Beyond the wines themselves, the venue is gorgeous, with footpaths through their gardens leading to the goat pen and creekside tasting. We enjoyed watching the goats play while we sipped and ended up staying for nearly 3 hours! Come support this family-owned winery, you won't be disappointed! read more

What a beautiful family friendly winery! I can't stop thinking about this winery. I will definitely come back with my family next time. I had a great experience, from the wine tasting, the pizzas and amazing service. It was 5+ stars It is the first time at a winery that I felt like home and didnt want to leave. I walked around the farm few times and was thinking I could bring my kids here. The could run around and enjoy the farm the animals while we are enjoying our fine wine. Not just that I think they will be in heaven with the yummy pizzas too. Red and white wine were always my most favorite. Aesthete wines has a new home. a picturesque area on Dry creek. Great place to taste wines. The property has some goats and some chicken near some picnic tables to taste and some sheep nearby. Nice place for kids. There are some red Adirondack chairs on some small patios along Dry Creek that many people were using. Come and get a bottle or two. and enjoy the wines and the patios under some olive trees. We tasted a 2021 and 2018 Sauvignon Blanc and a 2020 Pinot Noir and 2021 Rose Pinot. We enjoyed the last three the best. The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc seemed to be a nose was a little off to us and a little to much acid taste. Our host was very friendly and spent some time explaining the wines, the properties and wine making. read more

Aesthete Winery and Farm is located in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. We heard about this winery from a friend who kept raving about how amazing it was and how we had to visit! We are glad we visited because we both absolutely loved this winery for so many reasons! I love that this winery is family-owned! We did a wine tasting and absolutely loved all of the wines we sampled! The wines were all outstanding! The staff is extremely knowlegeable and welcoming and we really enjoyed our time here. We loved the wine so much that we bought several bottles of wine to enjoy in the future! I also love that you have options here and if you would rather not do a wine tasting, you have the option of purchasing bottles of wine to enjoy by the creek if you are looking for more of a relaxed time with family/friends. This winery has goats, sheep, chickens and feed dispensers as well as a garden area! Aesthete Winery and Farm is family friendly as well for those looking for family friendly wineries in the Healdsburg area. While we were there, we saw people enjoying a picnic and they allow outside food. It's an amazing winery to sip incredible wine and enjoy a picnic lunch. Family own business who care about their customers. We walked in without a reservation and was told by the owner's daughter to go check down by the creek with one of their staff members to see if our party of 6 could be accommodated. We walked to where we were told to go & we were immediately cut off by a man who said there was no availability, he wouldn't even let us fully explain that we were asked to walk there to check availability. We left pretty unhappy to say the least. When we reached the parking lot, the lovely lady who initially told us the check with their staff came to grab us and was very apologetic of our experience. She kindly told us that they would take care of us in their "upper" seating area. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and she showed that she really cared. Even though we didn't get to sit by the creek, where we sat was very nice. They have goats that you can pet and feed. Their garden is to die for and their wines were fantastic. I highly recommend a visit! We had a phenomenal experience with Lucas this weekend. I was driving by the winery with a friend and we were running on fumes. I waived him down to see if we could get some help, and without batting an eye, he graciously offered to fill us up with a gas can he had onsite. With this level of kindness and heartfelt support for a stranger, I can only begin to imagine the level of service and quality of the rest of the vineyard and staff. We were saddened to see Truett-Hurst leave, but we love this space so much that we decided to give Aesthete a try. It did not take long to convince us to join their wine club. The staff they've retained from Truett-Hurst and VML have been so passionate about Aesthete's wines so quickly that it bolstered our curiosity- could they really be that good? And after that first taste of sauvignon blanc, yes, it is indeed that good. The 2018 Barrel Aged Sauvignon Blanc is perhaps one of the best wines I've tasted. It's rich and floral, yet not overtly buttery like a chardonnay. It's the labor of love and aesthetics that they want to communicate, and makes us excited to come back. Former Truett Hurst winery. They sold it about a month ago. Still a beautiful spot. Well kept grounds, animals, red chairs by the creek. Great way to spend an afternoon. Also kid friendly. BUT, two tastings were $87 and they weren't willing to comp them for purchases. The wine was just ok, so probably won't be going back. read more

What an beautiful setting! Such a peaceful and relaxing space on the farm surrounded by beautiful plants. The tasting can be done either near Creek or on a patio on. Both places are great. This place is great with or without kids. The kids really love feeding the goats and I really appreciate it that this place makes it easy to get quarters for goat food for the kids to feed the goats. The creek is very calming. If you'd like to have a child free experience there's a place for that too and that's the patio. When we were there there was also live music accompaniment. The service is very friendly and I learned a lot about winemaking! I learned about grafting and yeast. The wine of course is great, if you're into pino noir theirs was great. Occupying the magnificent former Truett Hurst property on Dry Creek road, Aesthete has kept the charm of the location and added tastefully to it. My wife and I, as former Truett Hurst club members, were greeted most warmly by the Aesthete tasting room staff. We tasted two Sauv. Blancs and were most impressed. Took a stroll on the grounds along the creek and petted the goats. Place looks more beautiful than ever. Definitely worth the trip for just a tasting, a wedding or a birthday party. read more
