Hard to find anything better for the price point!

Amazing wine! iconic old vine, Zinfandel and Cabernet staff is always consistently amazing, friendly and a great story ! Bonded 113..... definitely the oldest Winery in the area and the first Cabernet Sauvignon planted in Dry Creek By far the best value for the quality!!

Sonoma Classico Red Blend - It was amazing!

Such a fun winery with delicious wines and seasoned sommeliers! Came here during a wine tasting event and my friend and I had the most fun at Pendroncelli. Love, love, looove the casual vibes here! We hung out on their back patio and mingled with several other patrons. Their back patio is pretty spacious and low key. Nothing too fancy but the communal style setup made for a super fun social affair. Gina hosted our group and she was absolutely fabulous! She was like a book of knowledge and described every single wine that we tasted down to a tee. Her wine pairing suggestions were spot on too. I wasn't expecting the wines to be this good. Truth be told; I loved everything that I tasted and even walked out with a few bottles. The price points are ridiculously low for the kind of quality that you'll receive with these wines. And for this reason, I had to jump on it and purchase a few bottles while I had the opportunity to do so. Pedroncelli produces a diverse catalog of wines, but their reds are where they truly shine. The Sonoma Classico red blend stole me heart. It was my favorite out of all of the wines that we tasted that day. I also really enjoyed their Zinfandel and their yummy Port. Their wines are soft and easy drinking. Parable with just about any kind of food and drinkable during all seasons. I love this quality in wines, and Pedroncelli definitely has it. When in Geyserville, a stop at Pedroncelli should be high on your list to visit.

Thank you Jerry for hosting us. We appreciate all the great tasting. The tasting room is small but it's beautiful, must visit if you are in this area. One of the best wines including Port wines.

Thanks to "Emily" for a wonderful tasting experience. Their wines are reasonably priced - actually could be considered "cheap" for our valley. Their tasting is only $5 and waived with any wine purchase - incredibly generous again for our valley. They just celebrated 90 years in business and they are a large producer of about 50-60K cases a year. We tried their 2016 Signature Chardonnay - we liked it alot - somewhat oaky but crisp. Also their 2016 Johnson Chardonnay - slightly more Oak. Their 2014 Mother Clone Zin didn't excite me. But we loved their 2012 Vintage Port - had to take some home! This is definately worth a strop when you are in the area!

Great place to visit when in the mood for great wine. Lizzy was a great hostess with a great knowledge of the Pedroncelli wine and family history. Loved the atmosphere and LOVED the wine.

This is a must-visit for me every time I'm in wine country. The price points are truly incredible and I really love the wines. Also big fan of being one of the few choose-your-own tastings I've found in the area; it really allows you to try a wide variety of wines on multiple visits. We joined the wine club this trip and are really excited to try the wines we brought back. Love their rose (I'm not a huge fan generally but theirs is great) but their zinfandels are where they really shine. Honestly everything is great, tasting room staff is consistently friendly and super knowledgeable. Probably my favorite winery in Sonoma.

Mad house- passport weekend. I really recommend that if you enjoy laid back tastings and talking to the staff, don't go on a passport weekend Having said that I was drawn here by hearsay that they had a port. I went in among the large crowd and stepped up to the counter. The gentleman said here's what we are pouring today....... I said I'm not really interested in any of those, I was told you make a nice port. He was a little flustered but did walk out into the store floor, retrieved a bottle of port and pour me a taste. Mmmm that brandy instilled warm caramel taste. That's all I needed. Walked over to the shelf and picked up three bottles. The gentleman came over to the register and I thanked him immensely for his trouble knowing how busy he was with the crowd. I would gladly return and try a few more of their wines and learn about the property, but it will have to be on a quiet day minus a few hundred other people.

    Luscious port!

When I tell you that my friend and I were hooked from beginning to end during our tasting, I am not kidding you. Reece was absolutely phenomenal and so was our entire tasting experience at Zialena. After passing by Zialena several times on my trips to DeLorimier, my friend and I finally decided to check them out for a tasting. You know I have to start off with their estate and grounds. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I will always be a fan of classic winery setups, BUT... I LOVED the modernized look of Zialena! The exterior of their building alone is so eye catching and unique. And then you walk inside and think, damn this place is so chic and hip! I love the artwork, I love the stylish tables and chairs with the bright orange seat cushions, I love the youthful and fun atmosphere and vibe. It's just wonderful. Those views! I underestimated how great they'd be because you can't see much from the outside. But once you're sitting on their patio, the views seem to be endless. Countless views of the hills and their beautiful vineyards. It helped that it was a stunning day outside too. Reece set us up on their side patio which was glorious. Now about this wine; fan-freakin-tastic! I loved every single wine that I tried. All were scrumptious. I'll get more into the wines in a bit, but first I'm gonna tell you a little bit about what I learned from Reece. Although the actual tasting room is newish, the winery is a fourth generation run operation by the Mazzoni family. The family hails from Italy and they've been harvesting grapes and producing wine for years. The winery is actually named after their Great Aunt Lena (Zia Lena in Italian). Mark and Lisa (sister and brother) are the owners and they also run the winery. Zialena grows grapes for over 90 different varietals and all of them are estate grown! That's right; those vineyards that surround their property are actually their own. They use whole cluster fermentation to produce their wines which basically means that they ferment the grapes with the stems (the stems aren't removed). This allows for more of an elaborate flavor profile in their wines. They also ferment in concrete with the top open. Never really heard of open top fermentation prior to coming here, but it allows for more oxygen to come in contact which helps with faster yeast production amongst other things. Alright, let me take my geeky wine brain hat off for a second. Reece had us completely engaged during this tasting. I literally started taking notes because it was so much interesting information. But those wines, dear GEEZUS! So, so good. Their unique fermentation techniques really paid off because their wines are so rich and complex. We tasted one welcoming white wine (Sauvignon Blanc) and 4 reds which were all incredible. The Cappella Red Blend was to DIE for and undoubtedly my favorite wine of the bunch. The spices were so pronounced but yet the wine went down oh so smooth. Took a bottle of that and I don't think it even lasted a few days. Reece was so knowledgeable and confident. This man probably could have sold us the earth and we would have bought it. Seriously. So engaging and we loved it. But wow, I'm impressed. Zialena is a one of a kind.

I don't normally drink wine but came for the olive oil and the experience and it did not disappoint! I also eventually changed my mind that red wine can be good:) We were seated indoors and Edd gave us the rundown of what we'd be tasting for the afternoon complete with stories and lots of fun facts. (I now look at any bottles that say "cold pressed" with some light skepticism since it's clearly only written there for marketing purposes!) We ordered a selection of the panini sandwiches, the burrata and butternut squash salad, and the charcuterie board. The fire cheese was delicious and the spread was perfect. Throughout lunch, Edd brought us different wines to taste and by the end we were most definitely sold on the Stone Soup (the red version). The olive oil tasting was so much fun. First of all the bread was so delicious. And then we tasted about 15 (?) different olive oils or vinegars. The raspberry, lemon, and garlic ones were clear favorites. My personal favorites were the garlic and sage. Even though it was a bit of a rainy & cloudy day, the views from the patio were beautiful. We finished our wine out by the fire pit outside, and now I really need to come back during the summertime when the skies are more clear for the full experience. I left with lots of olive oil and great Christmas gifts for the family. The four piece olive oil sets are perfect for that and I brought one home for my family and we did our own inspired mini taste testing (I still miss Trattore's bread tho). 10/10 recommend and yes I definitely want to come back for the summer views and this pizza oven I keep reading in all the other reviews:))

I can't remember the year, but it was 1800 something which is a great backdrop to your relaxing with a glass of wine. We ended up here because we decided to pick a random vineyard to try while we were in Healdsburg. I signed up for a tasting and noted that it was my birthday that we were celebrating. When we arrived, they had a special treat for us, a glass of their sparkling Brut which was delicious! Because it was my birthday they set us up in the tasting room in the photo I have attached which is also a special treat! The view from this room was spectacular overlooking their expanse of vineyards and Mount Saint Helena!! Tonya was amazing! She guided us through all of our tastings, which actually was quite a few at this particular vineyard. And we even got super lucky that the founders son, who now runs, the vineyard was there he even stopped by to chat with us for a bit! Another thing that I really liked about this tasting as they give you snacks to pair with the wines throughout your tasting but you can also buy larger snacks if you wish. My husband and I agreed that the Cabernet Franc and the Primitivo were our favorites! Another fun thing about this vineyard is they make and sell their own olive oil. We, of course, joined the membership ordered a case of wine and took home some olive oil! It was a fantastic day!
