I did, but turns out it was from the sutures. Dr. Carlisle had gone on vacation after this was done, so hence the lack of after care. Anyway. Two bad experiences from two different providers. I would not recommend.

On the way to the appointment they called saying they were running late by 30 min, which to me was no big deal. They asked if I wanted to cancel, I didn't. Looking back, I think this was them trying to get me to cancel. Once I met with the aesthetician, she told me that a chemical peel was "bottom of the barrel" and "a waste of your money, because you're going to be disappointed with the results." She then recommended $3800+ worth of moxie and other services, none of which could be done during my appointment. She also said that after those recommended treatments I would still be disappointed with the results, and would need additional expensive treatments. I left feeling very disappointed and self-conscious. I do appreciate the honesty of this conversation, but it was still incredibly disappointing and wasted my evening. It kind of felt like the aesthetician just wanted to be done with her day. It also felt like they were using the visia results to scare me into buying their treatment plan. At no time was anyone rude, she was very kind and direct. I've had an excellent experience with a hydrafacial in the past at the spa. I think it would be beneficial for them to ask what your skincare goals are, instead of just assuming that you're looking for flawlessness. I have no expectation that my skin will ever be free from signs of sun, as I am outside every day. Mixed feelings on if I'll return.

It was good but I had a amazing experience with Krystal in Ankeny. She was attentive, informative and made sure to enter my points into Allé. Krystal took her time doing my facial and I actually felt like I got a facial with her because my skin immediately started flaking after which is what it's supposed to do. Will definitely go back to see her often. She gave me a mini tour on all the skin care afterwards and explained in detail the Allé points and how you can receive products with your points for SkinMédica only. It would have been nice to be notified that my regular LE was not longer with the company and ex person would be doing them- since then I had Ali & Kristina and Taylor finish out my treatment appointments. Each LE does the treatment different, so I had no idea what to expect for the last 6 months of my treatments. I had to keep asking them to do it the way I preferred. This was the only reason for 4 stars in this review. I have had a hydrafacial with Taylor since, and she is wonderful, easy going and explains the treatment the entire time. So many people feel they need to travel far away to get good microblading or lash enhancements. Nope! These ladies are awesome! First "procedure" I had done with them was getting my eyebrows microbladed. I wasn't the "typical" client for microblading as I already had fairly defined brows but I was tired of spending time filling them in to make them as full as I wanted. Allie took a lot of time initially to set up my brows (something I'm incredibly thankful for seeing as her work would be on my face for up to 2 years) making sure my arch was where I wanted it and my brows began and ended where I preferred. Her insight was both valuable and appreciated. She takes her work very seriously and I was SO happy with how they turned out! Many people think this procedure is painful, it wasn't bad in my opinion. Allie made sure that the numbing cream was in effect before starting and she moved quickly (but precisely) to make sure I wasn't in pain. I've also had a lash lift and tint as well as extensions done by Riley. Riley is as precise and patient as her sister. The lift was beautiful and when I decided to do extensions she was happy to do it. Alpha Stim was described to me as "immediate meditation" and that is exactly how I felt. I spend a lot of my day in my head, overthinking things & stressing about situations out of my control, but with alpha stim I was able to relax and be in the moment the entire time. I had spoken with my talk therapist about this before scheduling, and she said she had been recommending the product to clients for over a decade! To make me feel even worse she said my face was smaller in my left side and kept showing to me on the mirror. I payed her in full bc I believe you pay others for a service and hoped someone else would take care of the threads that I never received it from this staff of RenuYou. I looked myself in the mirror and I felt sadness. I did payed her and mad another appointment to get my threads pdo full face done with someone else. I told her about the last incident (the one I just described just now) and had faith a business would care about myself. Moreover I was then caught up in an accident right the next morning after I had got this missing threads so called full face pdo lift. I will add pictures to show you what I look like after my accident and even after a few months you can see the permanent scar I was left with along with the sagging in my skin that was not resolved with the full face pdo thread lift. She simply told me someone else would get back with me in regards of the missing paid threads I never received.
