Quick and friendly service! If you're in a rush or want something that takes a little longer like facials and lash lifts I'd definitely recommend calling ahead. I always like to pop in when I'm at all the mall for a threading and wax. Everything is super clean and they have plenty of chairs to sit in while you wait. Just recently had a lash lift and they explained things thoroughly. Gave directions on how to care for the lashes after. I even brought my mom for her first lash lift and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience and loved the results. My first time visiting the spa. I got my brows threaded and a set of Crystal lashes. The wait was not long and service was quick and professional. I am pleased with my lashes and brows. The shop is open 7 days a week and I'd advise to call and make appointment for lashes. But walk ins are accepted. I paid $40 for my services. They take cash and credit cards. Just went here yesterday. The newer older Indian woman did a chop job on my eyebrows. I walked out very upset and wasn't shy about it! Let her and the other younger employee know I wasn't happy. She left my eyebrows thin, with sparse areas. I didn't walk in this way. Im done with this place. Have been coming here for a couple years and had a few bad experiences, let it go and waited to come back then it'd be ok but yesterday really takes the cake. Used to love this spa for eyebrow threading until I learned they were dishonest. Hold on to your things because if you leave anything there even for two minutes they will keep it. I left my prescription sunglasses there. I was the only one in the salon except for two employees. I immediately went back within a couple minutes and was told they did not see anything. They were there and then apparently gone. Very disappointed that one of the employees thought it was a good idea to steal my sunglasses. Will never go back. read more

I pray that this place stays for good at Northbrook Court because there aren't any decent places in the area for eyebrow threading. Sure, there are tons of places for eyebrow waxing but the method of threading offers some distinct advantages such as precision and I also happen to think it stays in shape longer. This place is located on the lower floor at Northbrook Court next to Lord and Taylor and the only service they do is what they are best at - threading! I've gone to many places that offer this service and when the technician lacks the skill - it is a painful experience! I gave it one star because zero is not an option! This place has the worst customer service, I have never been talked to in that manner. I was at the Apple Store and thought I would get my eyebrows done. I LITERALLY left with one eyebrow done, because I couldn't stand listening to the lady anymore. If your chair is raggedy and moves, and I express concern, I don't except a talked down to lecturing about the damn chair! First time getting my eyebrows threaded so i guess i don't have anything to compare it too. My girlfriend got a 2 for one thing as a grouping deal so i agreed to try it (say what you will). It was pretty quick and not too painful except when she kept getting my skin instead lol. If i ever decide to do it again and go elsewhere, i will come back with a better comparison review. My girlfriend says it was okay. She said the lady didn't leave her much of an arch even after she asked her too. From what i can tell its averagely priced, $10 for eyebrows which seems to be the general consensus in the area. Based off my know nothing experience, i was going to leave it 4 stars. The rating i left is with consideration to what my girlfriend thinks of the place. Hope this helped ladies. The location itself is pretty nice seeing as if you are shopping at the mall you can just pop in for a couple minutes and do your thing or even go before dinner or something. read more

I really like this place- location, price, services offered. They do a great job on my eyebrows so I hate to leave 3 stars but I'm so bothered by my last visit that I'm compelled to write a review. I know masks are no longer required but I feel that if you are getting your eyebrows threaded, and someone is so close to your face, given the current climate of the world, they should wear a mask. Every time I've been in the women have worn masks, and all other threaders aside from mine were wearing masks. I didn't realize the lady threading me didn't have one on because my eyes were closed and when I opened them it was too late. When I opened my eyes and saw no mask I got really nervous because she was breathing on me. Thankfully I had my mask on, but STILL. I will be back, and I have no other complaints but I will ask that my threader wear a mask and if you are Covid cautious you should too. This is a very in your face service and it's best to be safe. Masking is the respectful thing to do when you have a job like this. When I left she was threading the next customer with no mask too... imagine doing that all day! It's just not smart. read more

I have been here a few times and have been satisfied with any threading service I receive (eyebrows, lip or full face) but today was horrible. I went in to have my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. The lighting in there was horrible that I only noticed when I got into my car she missed a bunch of hairs on my eye brow and the shape was way off!! Then I noticed my upper lip and she missed the center of the lip only the sides were done. Not worth coming here for a bad result. I'll take the longer drive to my usual place next time. read more

Even though I got punched in the ear, Sadhana does a pretty good job! Considering the circumstances surrounding my, let's call it aesthetic improvement, I am giving Sadhana the benefit of the doubt, and let me tell you why... So I came to Northbrook to shop and saw this eyebrow threading place, and as I was in need of a cleaning up in the browage area, I stopped in and there was no wait. If you've never had your eyebrows threaded versus being waxed, it involves some customer participation; you have to make the skin around your eyebrows taut using the hand on the same side of the 'brow being worked on pulling down on your lower eyelid, while the other hand pulls up above said eyebrow. This keeps the skin tight and keeps your clumsy flailing arms out of the way of your eyebrow threading professional. And now you know what to do when you sit down on the chair. Anyways... I sit down and assume the position and midway through my left eyebrow getting finished, the thread breaks and Sadhana punches me in the ear. I kid you not. First time I was ever punched in the ear at Northbrook Court. This was very funny to me. So funny that I had a hell of a time trying to hold my face steady because I was giggling to myself while getting worked on. Eventually I calm down with some "woo-sah" and deep breathing and we get all finished and she hands me the mirror so I can critique and make sure everythings up to par. I noticed a few hairs that could be banished, so I re-assume the position and she happily obliges me. So we're done for real and she asks if I want lotion for the brows, and I do. As she's applying the lotion on my brows, the cuff of her shirt sleeve continually brushes my lips from side to side and after getting punched in the ear, this is like the icing on the cake for me. I start to laugh so I purse my lips and bear with it. This is almost too much for me to handle, but in the end I was very happy with the outcome. Sometimes you'll have someone who is just rushing through the work to get you out of the chair, but she took her time, never rushed, and made sure I was happy before I left! That's really all I can ask for. So even though I got punched in the ear(she did apologize about it) and got someone else's shirtsleeve wiped on my lip, a solid 4 stars is bestowed upon Neel Threadz Spa. read more

Just left after having my entire face done...for me, this is so much better than waxing. I am light skinned with red hair-the hair on my face is blonde. I always thought I could get away with doing nothing mostly out of laziness, but the last time my mom visited she about flipped out when she saw a chin hair on me. 45 yo sucks. So, in I went. I have freshly smooth skin now and could not be happier. My face is a tiny bit pink, but nothing like the redness and subsequent bumps I usually get from waxing. Coming back for sure. I'm pleased with the services I received today (eye and lip). I'm not going to lie, it's more painful then waxing and takes longer. However, I wanted to avoiding waxing and the bumps caused by waxing. I also wanted my eye brows to keep their shape and the accuracy of waxing isn't ideal. The only down side of this place was the long line over the weekend. I had to wait a while and then ended up leaving and coming back today. So, I recommend coming when it's not "prime time." read more
