I always get a Brazilian, eye brows, lip, and under arm wax from Rifat. I've been going to her for over a year and I will never go anywhere else. The wax lasts for 6-8 weeks, they are much less painful than other places, and she is so fast. I'm in and out in 20 minutes! I love her new location on tower dr, there's plenty of parking and things to do in the area which is great! Rifat is so sweet and she's also knowledgeable about how to take care of your skin in between waxing and makes her own sugar scrubs. Another really sweet touch is that she always remembers you and your story and the conversation is always nice! I am so happy I found this place! I noticed it while going out to eat at the Glen, and liked the clean and modern decor and reasonable prices advertised on the board outside. I made a note to check it out, and I am glad I did. I have already gone there 4 times, and could not be happier. I get a brazilian and leg wax, and the quality was immaculate every time. I also get eyebrow and upper lip threading, which is also great there. The place is very clean, they use modern equipment, and cornstarch instead of cancer-causing talc. The owner, Rifat, has great attention to detail and really listens to the customer requests, and has a knack for quick, easy and less painful waxing, and I also love the personal touch, since she remembers return customers. I have been going to Wax me Salon since its opening. I have followed the owner, Rifat, from where I met her in a different suburb 20 minutes closer to where I live because she is THAT GOOD. Rifat has been doing hair removal for me for nearly 10 years. She makes you feel comfortable and does THE BEST waxes. Even when waxing larger areas of skin, I never end up with ingrown hairs and I have never had blemishes after seeing her where I have had that problem with other estheticians. My eyebrows always look flawless (whether threaded or waxed). I think the most important part is that Rifat makes everyone a friend, genuinely. I had a great experience getting my eyebrows threaded. I normally go elsewhere every other week but decided to give this pace a try since I was in the area. My hair grows back so quickly, but I am now week two and there are zero hairs emerging from my brow bone. I may no longer have to go as frequently which is a good thing. The service was quick and painless. She uses cotton thread and doesn't apply too much pressure but just enough to get the job done. Rifat, I have been coming to her for years to do my eye brows and body way. I have followed her since I first meet her. Her work is outstanding and always consistent. I am Hispanic so I tend to be a little more on the hairy side then most. Taming my eye brows is not an easy task but she somehow tends to make them perfect with the shape. She always listens to exactly what the client wants. Also I have been doing my Brazilian with her for about 5 years. She is very gentle and professional about the whole process. It's time I finally review Wax Me! Rifat is absolutely amazing. I originally went to Wax me for the first time with my mother about 5-7 months ago. My mother is in her 60s, and has never got anything done to her eyebrows... EVER!! Haha. So needless to say, she was a little nervous to have them tinted and threaded. Rifat did an amazing job and was so professional and sweet. She explained everything to my mom and my mom LOVED her eyebrows. As for me, I primarily live in San Francisco but get my eyebrows tinted/threaded and my eyelashes tinted at Wax Me every time I come to visit my parents in Glenview! There's one other place (as far as I know) that has hard wax available in Glenview, and without naming names, they've never done a thorough job and I hated going there but felt I had no choice... Rifat always does an excellent job. I've booked appointments with her for both threading and waxing. She's probably threaded my eyebrows 30+ times. I have thick, unruly eyebrows and always receive compliments on them, thanks to her. As for waxing, she's a pro - super quick and efficient.
