We called every uhaul or similar truck companies to help with our move and were let down every single time. As a last ditch effort, we called Arden and they came to our rescue! The very next day they brought us a team of 3 people to help us with our move at an EXTREMELY reasonable rate. The truck was included in our fee.  While we had done a lot of due diligence to safeguard our furniture, the Arden team went the extra mile to cover everything with moving blankets. They also took great care in moving our furniture in and out of the truck. We had an amazing experience and are very thankful to the Arden team!

I'm a little torn about what to write for this review, because there were some negatives and some…read morepositives. We hired two movers and it was 99/hr cash (109/hr cc) with a 4 hr minimum. This was by far the best quote we received out of about 10 other moving companies so we chose this one. They showed up right on time which was great. They were in a moving van without any company name or logo which we thought was a little weird, but no big deal. They came in and looked at all the furniture we had, and then started wrapping everything up in blankets and wrap. Once they were done with this they started moving furniture into the van. All we had was 8 pieces of furniture, we expected the process to be really fast. It took them an hour and a half to wrap and load the furniture. That was a huge negative. One guy really looked like he was struggling, he was covered in sweat. I felt bad but at the same time we are paying by the hour, so we were kinda like why is this taking so long. However, once we got to the new apartment the guys could tell we wanted to speed things up because we started helping them carry stuff in. The guys moved much faster then and unloading and unwrapping everything was much faster. Again, I'm a little annoyed that we had to help though, but we didn't want to pay for more hours. One other thing was both guys were foreign, they kept speaking to each other in another language (our best guess was Russian). Anyway we had to explain a few things several times in order for them to understand. It was a little awkward because we would say something then they would talk to each other in the other language and then one guy would answer. At the end of the day they were great for what we needed and cheaper than other companies. I think next time we would hire a third guy though, because two just didn't seem very fast.

Ivan and Alex were our movers for the day and they showed up on time ready to work. They were not only the fastest movers I have ever used, they wrapped the furniture and any other fragile pieces that needed extra protection. This is the first time I have unpacked and realized that nothing was broken! Ivan and Alex were every careful and so quick that the move went much faster than I was expecting which was awesome. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone that is moving. The pricing is very fair for the work that these guys do. I texted with the owner and sent receipts of the newly purchased items. He said he would refund me and I have never received any money. He is also no longer responding to me. I have pictures of the text messages, admission that it was their fault, and confirmation of payment. I am very disappointed in this service and I would have had a better experience if I hired someone off the street.

I decided to put my house on the market in June of 2021. At the recommendation of my Realtor I had some trees and shrubs removed. I hired Cornerstone to haul away the debris. I didn't bother asking the cost since my Realtor informed me that their prices were more than fair. Upon completion of the job I was beyond shocked when the owner of Cornerstone told me the cost would be nearly $5000! I reluctantly paid them but honestly felt that the work they didn't warrant nearly $5000! Fast forward a couple months. Again, my Realtor convinced me to hire Cornerstone to move me 90 minutes North. Vea, the owner, came to my home and looked at everything that would be moved and told me it would all fit in one load and the cost would be $2000. I agreed to that cost. Moving day fast approached and Vea and two workers showed up at my house to move everything. About 3 hours into them moving Vea informs me that there is no way he's going to fit all my belongings in one load as promised. I literally had to leave behind several valuable pieces of furniture and artwork. Vea told me he'd come back the following day to pick up the items left behind. It only took literally minutes for him and his worker (it was really a 1 man job) to load the rest of my belongings. They quickly unloaded my items upon arriving at my home and again I was shocked when Vea, the owner, told me that I owed him another $600. I was upset since he told me he'd fit it all in one load! The following day we began to unload the garage and that's when I began to notice the severe damage done to my many pieces of furniture. There was missing paint from one piece and deep scratches, dents and dings on many other pieces of furniture I love. I also had several broken items in boxes that were pack by a professional packer. I contacted Vea and he asked me to send him pictures and that he would make it right. I did so but instead of accepting liability he denied any wrongdoing. I'm outraged that this owner would do business like this. I trusted Vea and his two workers with my life contents and they blew it big time! My only recourse of action is to take him to small claims court. Sad!
