If you were to tell me 6 months ago that I would be moving out of this place that I've lived in for the most part of my life, I would have laughed. Life, however, had other plans for me. My company moved and I decided it was in my financial interest to move with them, especially since they were reimbursing me half of the $$$ for my move. I guess I could have gotten the most expensive company out there and they would have still paid 50% of my bill, but to be honest, I love my company, they do great work and the owners are good people. I didn't want to put a heavy burden on them. That being said I was looking for affordable movers, but who had been in business for a while and had built up a solid reputation. They had to have above a 4 rating on Yelp and had to be licensed in order for me to receive the reimbursement from my company. I did the research and ran across this company fairly quickly. I needed to move from Walnut Creek CA all the way to North San Jose. I narrowed down my search to three companies but decided to choose this one because the other two companies when I called them they treated me sort of unpleasantly. They treated me like I was just a number, and I hate that. This company, on the other hand, in fact Daniel was his name, treated me as if I was his neighbor. I don't know how else to explain it other than he was just natural at good customer service and was a lighthearted individual. Booking was easy, and I paid a deposit which they deducted off of my final bill. Two movers came out and moved me, they delivered the same day, and charged me a decent rate. I was happy with the bill as it was fair. I would suggest throwing a decent tip to the guys, especially since they worked their butts off and the weather wasn't the greatest.... Raining ALL DAY :( Overall, this a 5 star moving company. There are probably other movers in Oakland that can do a good job, but these guys were everything that I needed. Thanks! read more

My movers arrived promptly, called me almost an hour before they reached my house. My move was from Oakland to South Bay area. At first, I was not sure how to choose Oakland movers because there are so many of them on Google and Yelp, but decided to go with these young moving company due to great and clear answers and explanations that I got when I called them. They charge $60 to reserve the moving date and it was refunded to me upon completion of my move, you aren't loosing a dime. Their hourly rate was lower than any other moving company in Oakland that I've contacted and most of packing material that was used to protect my furniture items was included in that rate, wardrobe boxes were included also. The only extra charge was for 15 small boxes that they had to use to pack the content of my kitchen cabinets and 2 medium size boxes to pack my shoes and belts, the double drive time was an additional charge and I've learned online that its California law and all the moving and delivery companies will charge you that and its perfectly normal. I must say that communication with their office deserves high rating. Dispatcher takes his time to explain how everything works, he also calls the customer the day before the move to remind about scheduled moving appointment, he is also calling you to follow up the day after the move is complete to follow up, asking questions like how things went, and if the performance was good. Definitely had to make my first review about this place!!!! My family and I had decided to finally move from our apartment into a nice one story 3 bedroom home within Oakland, CA. We have a whole bunch of heavy furniture including couches, television, bed frames, desks, etc, so we definitely needed assistance with moving. We at least wanted to find professionals for help so there wouldn't be any inconveniences or damages, so my parents left me with a job to find some movers. Funny story is that a friend of mine told me about a this business that had recently opened and offered to link me to the location to check it out. I called in ahead to ask about the type of services they provide which includes moving and storage, and discussed about pricing. Next thing I know is that the company and I had an agreement about helping us move while being charged per hour at a standard rate. Thank goodness that the guys who helped us move were not slackers. The workers were fast-paced and very helpful overall, plus they were great to have small talk with which is a bonus. Everything went so well that nothing broke and my family and I have successfully moved into our new home! I was glad that my friend found this place for me and I will look forward to asking them for help if I were to move again. My friends and family have been informed about this place! Also, the job they did was so good that I offered them to check out my workplace to try the food there and one guy actually showed up haha. Professional, kind, experienced and hardworking local moving company! My move was from Walnut Creek to San Jose and it was amazing great experience. Found these movers on Google, great rating! After checking this moving company on Yelp I decided to call them. Mike spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me, got my info and emailed the rest of the details including the link to pay refundable booking fees to secure my date, on the day of my move it was taken off my grand total just as promised. I also received an email confirming my appointment and payment made, nice! Office manager gave me a call the day before to remind and to confirm my appointment once again. Moving day! Driver called about 40 min before to let me know his ETA and arrived on time which is very important on your moving day as you do have enough stress as it is.. Movers got a very complicated job done for me and my family pretty quick and without any problems nor damages. Our movers Akbar, Jason, Vasya and Tolik knew exactly what they were doing, gave us a couple of suggestions on how to approach to some of the fragile items packing. The Best Oakland moving company, fast,professional and well managed! Arrived promptly, called me about 40 minutes prior. My move was from Oakland to South Bay. Before calling All Bay Movers I called about 4 other movers in Oakland, and some companies had low online rating (due to being late or overcharges) while others offered some extra fees, so I chose these guys because they had all included furniture packing materials. Movers disassembled all the beds and baby crib since it wouldn't fit trough the doorways, all the furniture parts were carefully wrapped into the furniture protective blankets and safely loaded into their huge truck. The entire packing & loading took about 3 hours including 5 minutes water break that my movers took. I've moved several time previously and by far i enjoyed working with this company the most. Unloading was a little faster despite the fact that my rental office made all of us wait for about 30 minutes to get the keys and to secure the elevator.  The mover's office was flexible when i had to slightly change my schedule. Overall I've had positive experience, and will contact All Bay Movers for my future moves. read more

All Bay Movers handled my job really well. I was satisfied 100% of the time. It all started with a phone call after reviewing their Yelp page. The guy in the office was cool. He sorted out a start date, I paid a deposit, which was returned to me, and eventually the move started. I had most of the stuff packed, so I didn't have to order too many boxes. They finished up the last of the packing and loaded our stuff on the truck. It went smooth and professional. The guys who moved us were not that talkative, other than a few jokes between each other here and there. I was okay with that, for all they were here to work, not tell me jokes. They had everything done in one day, which is what I expected. They charged me a decent deal. I saved about $300 compared to the other movers I had. Overall, it was a great service. You get more than what you pay for. I don't think there are better movers in Oakland. read more

I recently used All Bay Movers to move my entire 2 bedroom house into my brand new town-house. Even though I tried to do the packing before the movers showed up and still my move took almost 8 hours. I didn't realize that I had so much stuff. I had to move all of my food and perishables out of 2 refrigerators (dont ask why I have 2 fridges :) ) and guys helped me a lot with it. I also moved both of my TV's in my car the day before just to save some money and I broke one, it was extremely heavy and it did slip out of my hands, they would do it much better, I wanted to save money and actually I lost some. But movers did everything else and trust me, it was a lot and everything was very heavy. The price that they quoted ended up being a little bit higher due to the 4 flights of stairs at my new town-house. And movers reassembled all our beds and dining table. My move was from San Francisco to Mountain View CA. I heard about this company from a coworker who had used them when I was searching for moving companies near me. I appreciated the recommendation, but still wasn't expecting much, just wanted to move out of my place which was getting too expensive (like everywhere in the Bay Area). Alex was the main guy on the job, and was quite a cool character. He would work hard, but was able to keep a smile on his face (very hard to do). He recognized the value of customer service. They were strong movers and had no difficulty lifting that elliptical (haha!). I told them the story about the other movers and they just laughed. I have moved several times in the past. I can tell, this was the best moving experience I have ever had. All Bay Movers sent 3 men crew for my 2 bedroom apartment that was located on the third floor. I could tell by their action they were professionally trained. They only took couple breaks for only few minutes each during the entire move. I also bought them pizza for lunch. Because they were work my so hard the whole day. I was impressed by their enthusiasm and work ethic . They were really careful with all my furniture and boxes. The entire move took about 7 hours. They deserve every penny that I have paid. Thank you "All Bay Movers" for the best moving experience . I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Jason, Peter and Ivan were amazing. They came in like superheroes assessing all of the furniture and the logistics, etc. I offered them some coffee, but they just got right to work. Loading took about 3 hours and 40 minutes (stairs + long walk), which is fast for a 2 bedroom. Although I didn't have much stuff, all of my stuff was hardwood, good quality furniture so I asked them to take their time packing and moving it. I don't think that I could have asked for better moving services. I gave this company 5 stars, because they did exactly what they promised, the price was fair, and the service was quite good. I think the next time I move I'll have to seriously consider this moving company before considering any others. read more

I had quite a bit of expensive electronics that I needed to make sure was protected and moved into my office. That required an extra stop (which I wasn't charged for). They gladly stopped at my office on the way to my new place. Hugo, Ivan, and Daniel were exceptionally talented movers. They quickly wrapped and protected my belongings, including the electronics. I also had a portable storage outside of my office which needed to be unloaded so it could returned to the POD company. They were punctual, efficient, friendly, and they didn't make a lot of noise (which my neighbors were happy about). Five stars I think is not enough. I will call them again if or when I move again. Mikey,Sergio, Lejon and Alex moved us out of 3 bedroom condo into 2 bedroom apartment due to downsize so some of the items had to go to the public storage. They didn't charge anything extra for stopping at the storage and they also made sure that everything that went inside the storage was stocked up nice and was easy to reach for me in case if I needed to get something out. The service was terrific and movers worked hard. There was no overcharge, hourly rate was exactly that I was promised when I first called the office, we will definitely give them a call for our future move and will recommend this company to my family and friends. read more

Moving out is never fun, but this company made it easy. I give them props for really doing a good job. They were also nice and never were rude in any way. I actually am going to recommend them to my friend who is moving next month, so they can have access to this great moving company. I like how neat they were and they didn't leave a mess. I took before-and-after pictures just in case there was any complaints, but there weren't any issues so I am happy about that. All in all this was a great service provided to me. So overall, I was very happy with this company. Driver called to let me know about 40 min before arriving, they did arrive on time! Desk and chairs got covered with a big blankets. Movers disassembled and wrapped everything so carefully that nothing was damaged! All 3 guys cheerfully dealt with my narrow steep stairway over at my new place. We moved from Morgan Hill to Brentwood and our movers, Richer, Angel, and Pete were wonderful!! They were on time, efficient, and were just simply AMAZING!!! I highly recommend them.
