Sadly enough I'm giving Cornerstone Junk Hauling and Moving 1 measly little star! I like Vea, the owner, but his way of doing business leaves much to be desired. Here's my story. I decided to put my house on the market in June of 2021. At the recommendation of my Realtor I had some trees and shrubs removed. I hired Cornerstone to haul away the debris. I didn't bother asking the cost since my Realtor informed me that their prices were more than fair. Upon completion of the job I was beyond shocked when the owner of Cornerstone told me the cost would be nearly $5000! I reluctantly paid them but honestly felt that the work they didn't warrant nearly $5000! Fast forward a couple months. Again, my Realtor convinced me to hire Cornerstone to move me 90 minutes North. Vea, the owner, came to my home and looked at everything that would be moved and told me it would all fit in one load and the cost would be $2000. I agreed to that cost. Moving day fast approached and Vea and two workers showed up at my house to move everything. About 3 hours into them moving Vea informs me that there is no way he's going to fit all my belongings in one load as promised. I literally had to leave behind several valuable pieces of furniture and artwork. Vea told me he'd come back the following day to pick up the items left behind. It only took literally minutes for him and his worker (it was really a 1 man job) to load the rest of my belongings. They quickly unloaded my items upon arriving at my home and again I was shocked when Vea, the owner, told me that I owed him another $600. I was upset since he told me he'd fit it all in one load! The following day we began to unload the garage and that's when I began to notice the severe damage done to my many pieces of furniture. There was missing paint from one piece and deep scratches, dents and dings on many other pieces of furniture I love. I also had several broken items in boxes that were pack by a professional packer. I contacted Vea and he asked me to send him pictures and that he would make it right. I did so but instead of accepting liability he denied any wrongdoing. I'm outraged that this owner would do business like this. I trusted Vea and his two workers with my life contents and they blew it big time! My only recourse of action is to take him to small claims court. Sad! read more

We used Cornerstone Moving and Hauling for a recent move from a recommendation from a local Facebook group and I couldn't be happier. I was trying to have a last minute move of items in our garage to storage. I had one company flake on me and another upsale me the night before with truck fees, gas fees etc. That's when Vea's company was recommended to me. I called and they came out that day to give an accurate estimate and were able to schedule my move two days later. They packed and moved everything carefully and quickly. I've never had to use a hauling service, but from my experience Cornerstone Junk Hauling and & Moving, has set the bar extremely high. Called about hauling junk that has accumulated on my side yard that needed to be gone. I spoke with Nuuovea, he gave me a quote and asked when I needed it gone. I said ASAP. He said he'd be back in 30 minutes. 25 minutes later he was backing up to my side yard and with a trailer and help and had it loaded up in no time and taken all my problems away. I highly recommend Cornerstone Junk Hauling and Moving. The owner and a staff of three came to move all my heavy furniture and assisted with taking apart my audio system. They were professional, polite, courteous and worked efficiently and spent less time than anticipated. I am renovating and wanted to empty the entire apartment. They moved large furniture pieces down a flight of sectional stairs without making noise or touching walls...how can that be...The furniture was wrapped and was placed neatly in a storage room.
