He said he would have to schedule another appt to come out another day to spend more time to figure it out. Problem is, that would be another day for me to take time off and I didn't have much confidence that he knew what was going on to begin with. I called the office and after being upset and explaining to them the circumstance, the receptionist spoke to the owner and called me back and gave us a full refund. I ended up wasting my time off and the problem still isn't fixed. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one is they had enough common decency to issue us a refund. Weird thing is...a week before the repair guy showed up, I specifically called their office and asked what if the guy can't fix the problem? am I still charged the $90 service charge ? The receptionist assured me that they know what they're doing and it would be fixed....apparently not.

After him taking apart the log set going in my attic and my basement and fooling around a bit, he told me it would cost me thousands of dollars because of XYZ- including basement ceiling and walls being ripped out. Also said I needed a new log set and nothing was to code (My house was built in 98) Well come to find out after I reached someone else for a second opinion my remote setting needed to be turned off (because I was never given a remote) and then BAM we had fire. It was just a setting that had to be changed and a wire moved basically. Took him all of 15 minutes max and $120 service fee.
