I have a love/hate relationship with Dr. G and his office. I love Dr. G, I really appreciate his…read morethoroughness and attention to detail. He takes his time and never makes you feel rushed in your appointment. I've always had a great experience with the receptionist and front office staff. The PAs are another story. I only see them when I have to. The ones I have seen do not have a good bedside manner. And interestingly enough, a few recent reviews on Google have mentioned not being able to get antibiotics when needed and that is the exact same thing that happened to me last time I had to see the PAs. I was terribly sick but because I didn't have the flu or Covid they wouldn't do anything for me except prescribe some cough meds (that were a waste of money and didn't help at all). It took more than one visit for me to eventually be given antibiotics and hey guess what, I finally started to get better after a few days on the antibiotics. The wait time is absolutely atrocious. I appreciate how much time Dr. G takes with me so I can only assume he does the same with everyone else. Perhaps the office should consider booking fewer patients for him each day. Although fewer appointments means less billing so I doubt that will ever happen. At the end of the day I will likely keep coming here until I am given a really good reason not to.

I was told by the front desk that my appointment was at 10:00 and not 10:30 and I was late. The young girl said she would have to check to see if they could see me since I was late. There was no one else in the waiting room. She came back with a tone in her voice and said that they would see me this time!! I really didn't appreciate that tone in her voice. So now i wait and about 10 minutes later and lady with a heavy accent called me name. I stepped in and she pointed and said scale like I was a dog. After I got off the scale she turned her back to me and waved for me to come behind her. It gets worse because now I'm in the room and she takes my vitals and mumbles under her breath that all is OK. I said what are my numbers and she said OK. I said I didn't ask if its ok, I want my numbers. She called off the the numbers and I said thank you to her and she turned and just walked out. I have never seen anyone so rude and cold. I really enjoyed Dr. Ronald Giometti, but these two people need to take a course in how to talk to patients. I was so mad when I left the office because of the tone and actions of these two women. This was only the second visit with Dr. Giometti and I'm not sure if I will return. From check in to discharge I had the best experience ever!! My experience was so great, it makes me look forward to my next stay. Went in for a major surgery (12+hours) and I was sooo nervous. I mean ready to go back home, asking the surgeons and everyone else why they were so calm nervous... Everyone was so pleasant and reassured me that everything would be ok. I made sure to let the surgeons and staff know that "I needed to wake up" and nearly 13 hours later. I woke up!! My surgeons were top notch!! If you ever get a mastectomy with reconstruction Dr. Perry and Dr. Mckane are your surgeons. I've seen pictures of others with the same surgery and I am glad that my incisions look nothing like that... The Anesthesiologist was amazing as well. During the surgery and during my hospital stay they made sure that my husband and children were taken care of. Usually you wait in the waiting room, but they let them stay in the room that I would be in during my stay so they were comfortable. My husband mentioned that they even had a beverage cart. I was in the hospital from Wednesday to Sunday and I was actually the only patient in the whole hospital for the last few days. The level of care was outstanding! Before you could think of it, they were there. I had a bit of an issue with pain management, but the nurses were there to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. Usually you get those few nurses that just don't enjoy their job, but I can honestly say that ALL of my nurses were the best of the best! The last thing you want after surgery is a noisy hospital and this hospital was sooo quiet. It was also very clean. Overall, this stay was like a trip to a fancy hotel:) This surgery was not a walk in the park, but this hospital made all the difference. THANK YOU!! Another bonus, the food... YUMM!!! I've never had hospital food so good at a hospital. In fact, I've never had food so good at some restaurants. I didn't have much of an appetite afterwards and they worked with me to try to get something that I could eat. The Cheesecake and chicken Alfredo was my favorite. They even made homemade chicken noodle soup. I even asked if they could come home and cook for me lol!

Due to circumstances, I ended up at Advance ER and came away extremely impressed with the staff and facility. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - I was immediately greeted upon walking in and directed to sit in a very nice waiting area. While this is a full emergency room, I felt like I was in a nicely decorated doctor's office. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. 1 Star. Service - The staff went above and beyond. I explained my situation, provided my ID and info, and the helped me throughout the process including assisting with paperwork. Each of the nurses on staff were also helpful, treated me with respect, and the whole time I felt very at ease. 1 Star. Facility - This is the most impressive part of Advance ER. It's like a hospital floor, with a nursing station and examination rooms. Also, they can do everything on site, like imaging, blood and urine work, and more. I'm by no means a drug seeker, but have been on a drug that has worked with me for the past decade. Dr. Rai was very professional and honest about his inability to help me switch from my current pain management provider and have him continue my medication. He did make sure that my co-pay was refunded before I left the office. While, he could not help me, I do have respect for him since he was straightforward and honest. I do wish they would be more upfront about their practice's inability to prescribe controlled pain medication so that others know ahead of time.
