Used this place prior for hubby's eye and the provider on that day was Amazing. She was knowledgeable, professional but also human. Came in today with our daughter's nail halfway pulled out with a "Tracy" as the provider. She did not come into the room as confident (didn't introduce herself, I don't even know if she was the actual practitioner on shift), stated out loud that she had no idea what to do and that the ER probably couldn't help, did not offer any other options. Once I started asking about what could be done, I apparently flustered her so much that I needed to remove myself so she could focus on her job. Honestly. Zero stars for her. But 5 for the lady prior. When people are at their most vulnerable, care providers should at the very least seem like they care...or know how to do their job. read more

My wife was sick and went in. They told her it was likely viral after not testing for COVID or influenza and didn't prescribe anything due it being viral (not upset about this part). She's been sick for 17 days now, so we called back because most viral illnesses resolve by this time. They said she would have to be seen again. I'm not wasting any more of our money by going to same poor quality clinic. read more

AFC Urgent Care Eagle Run is a great as an urgent care and/or primary provider, no matter who I've seen - doctor, PA, NP, APRN. Whether going in for check-ups, health concerns or urgent care, the provider listened well and addressed the situation. If they didn't have an answer at that time, they researched the best ways to address the situation either while I was there or would call me with their findings. And the staff are also nice, well-informed, and helpful. This attention to detail is refreshing and why I trust them for my health care. read more

Would not go back. Lied about wait time. Priority and illness was not a concern. Disrespectful and could overhear the staff giggling and discussing patients. Ended up leaving after an hour of waiting in the room with zero communication. read more

This IS NOT an urgent care. If you show up and need to be checked for COVID or even have a UC exam, the guy at the desk said you have to have an appointment. He instructed me I could schedule one and come back the following day or sit in the lobby to see if they can "work you in but no guarantees. If you are sitting here past 6p you will just have to leave as we definitely won't see you without an appointment." That is two hours later!! He wouldn't even give me an estimated wait time of what would be reasonable and couldn't even say if I would be seen at all. Long short this isn't an Urgent Care as the name suggests, so go somewhere else if that is what you need. read more

All four persons I interacted with, the gentleman who took my info when I walked in, the man who conducted the triage, the nurse who verified my conditoon and Dr. Jim who examined me, were all quick and efficient and had my well-being in mind. I went for an std test 1 time and got a total of 5-6 different bills. also, I called them for 2 weeks straight and never gotten through until someone called me to say the bill is overdue. even when I was trying to pay it for the last month or so read more

I took my daughter to this urgent care for a strep test. As we were walking back to the exam room, the door was open to the room next to ours which seemed unprofessional. After the nurse asked us a few questions she left us alone to wait for the dr. We could hear his entire conversation with the patient in the room next door, as he berated the patient for drinking coffee. There was a noise machine in the room that was not turned on, but interestingly enough, had a sign by it that said something to the effect of "used to prevent overheating other conversations". When the dr came in, he was VERY aggressive in his bedside manner. He did order a strep test. When he was out in the hall looking at the results we heard him say VERY loudly "That's disgusting!" We then heard the nurse say "shh, they are right in there!" Then he came in and confirmed my daughter had strep. We left to pick up medicine and I then realized that the front desk staff never gave me back my ID or insurance card. This was the worst, most uncomfortable urgent care experience I have ever had. Regret ever going to this place. Went in to get tested for strep, everything leading up to speaking directly to the doctor went fine. Doctor came in, smelled heavily of cigarettes and gave me and uncomfortable feeling. He was fairly aggressive with his demeanor and I felt as if I was being interrogated. He did my test and came back to inform me I didn't have strep. Sent me on my way, didn't prescribe me anything to help which I wasn't bothered by, but he could've at least gave me some suggestions of what I could purchase over the counter to help. Got my bill and it's a whopping $426.65. If I would've known it would be an arm and a leg to pay for that kind of service, I would've just suffered through the pain and not even bothered going. read more

My wife was in with one of our children. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic after a brief visual exam which only revealed a red throat. No tests were run and he did not answer our questions in a way that inspired any confidence. If that's what you're looking for (which sometimes it is if you're confident in what's wrong before going in) then I guess that's great, but we were not. Time to find a second opinion. read more

I do not recommend this urgent care. I stopped here today to get tested for strep throat. The lady at the front desk did not seem glad to be work at all. I will say the nurse/ medical assistant was very nice. As soon as the doctor walked in the room I was rubbed the wrong way. He was extremely loud and aggressive. He barely gave me time to answer his questions. He was practically yelling. After the doctor left my room I heard him saying how "crazy" my tonsils were and "oh my gosh that's disgusting" when he looked at my strep test. As someone who is sick and in a lot of pain I prefer a calm experience, which I definitely did not get at this urgent care. I could also hear LITERALLY the whole conversation he was having with the patient in the room next to me, due to his yelling, HIPAA was most definitely being violated. I will not be back. The two star are for my very friendly nurse only. read more

Just a simple sore throat but I was worried it was strep. I was back seeing a doctor in less than 10 minutes. A strep test was negative and I was on my way in less than 25 minutes. Top notch staff. Thank you! read more

Unless you like being deceived I would not recommend this place to anyone. Called and told them exactly what kind of insurance I had and was reassured they took that kind of insurance and I wouldn't have to pay anything for my covid test. After 6 months of getting my test I receive a letter in the mail for my test of $450 for 1 covid test.. seems steep esp when I was reassured my insurance would cover it and after showing up for the appt we had to wait 3 hours just to get the test. After getting the test my boyfriend got his results back in about 2 hours. Meanwhile, I had to wait almost a week and a half for them to finally give me my results even after calling multiple times to check the status of it. Would not recommend to anyone unless you have money to throw away for a service which would be free anywhere else you go and meanwhile enjoy staying home missing out on work and money until you are cleared covid free. Then after half a year later you receive a giant bill for a service which was half assed on their part. If I would I would give 0/5. Don't recommend, at all. read more

We stopped in here for a concern with my daughter. The front desk was friendly and they got us in quickly! My daughter was very nervous & Dr. G was extremely comforting and friendly. The X-rays tech was competent and efficient and gentle. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that needs immediate attention! read more

They are very deceptive. I asked how much an office visit cost and was told "it depends. I'll tell you after the appointment." That should've been my clue. I saw a doctor who called prescriptions in. The receptionist gave me my checkout sheet which still showed no cost. I asked and was told $385.85. I said "if you'd told me that when I asked I would've walked out the door". She said "well it is an urgicare clinic". It was late in the afternoon Saturday and I was their fourth patient, if that tells you anything. I wouldn't be so pissed if she would've told me when I asked. I think that's dishonest. read more

My billing was handled horribly. I received one bill in the mail that was nearly double what I was told I should be expected to be billed. I paid more than half of it immediately. Then, three months later I discovered I was sent to collections. Instead of just sending out another bill, I got sent to collections over $100 that I shouldn't have had to pay. I tried calling the office only to be shamed over my anger and frustration. read more

I usually try to avoid walk in urgent care clinics because I find them impersonal. This was not the case at AFC Urgent Care Clinic. The staff at the front desk welcomed us like we had been long time patients and the warm welcome didn't stop at the desk. The medical staff in the back including the nurse, X-ray tech and the physician were all wonderful. Very friendly and informative. I did not feel rushed and was asked several times if I had any other questions. I would definitely visit this location again if the need ever arose. read more

My husband went in to get tested for influenza. Dr. Pratt didn't test him but said he had bronchitis and gave him a prescription for an antibiotic. The CDC doesn't recommend antibiotics since bronchitis is generally viral. My husband went to a hospital ER department 2 days later. They tested him and he was positive for influenza b. It was too late for Tamiflu by this time. We won't be back to AFC Urgent Care. read more

I'm a little torn on what to review because parts of my experience were very good. The woman in the office was less than friendly. That said, the nurses and medical staff were great. I was also impressed with the doctor. My issues came months later over financing. We were waiting for a bill but our insurance is very slow so we didn't think anything of it being months behind. We knew they'd get to us at some point and ask for payment. Today I get a call from collections! I called the clinic and was told to call central billing. I called central billing and was advised two statements were sent out but then a woman at the address who received them called to say that they had the wrong address. So they erased the address from their system and made NO further attempts to find me (they had my phone number) so they submitted me to collections, who had no trouble finding my correct address. I was furious. The girl from central billing was less than apologetic, in fact I don't think she ever did apologize of behalf of the company and THEIR mess up. I will never go through them again or refer them to anyone, I will stay with the local hospital and clinic groups. Hence the reason for only two stars. read more
