I let them know when I arrived via text. I sat in my car until I was told to come in. Then I sat in the patient room for close to 30 minutes only for a PA not a doctor to see me who after rushing thru my 1st concern in less than 3 minutes told me she "did not have time" to address my 2nd concern because many people are waiting and they have to get them all seen before the holiday. So why is everyone in the office area just sitting around chatting and why did the system let me book the appointment in the 1st place??? My only option now is go to another urgent care and pay another co-pay or wait until Monday and see my PCP and pay another co-pay and just deal with the pain thru the holiday weekend. Again I have sworn by this place for years. I will NEVER go back. Talk about making a person feel worthless! I have never been made to feel this low by a medical "professional" ever.

Which I agreed. Jared was amazing, he called me as soon as the test restaurant came and was able to prescribe medicine and send it over to my pharmacy. Sarah calls and leaves a VM stating she has my results. I call back and speaking with Sherry. I introduce myself on the call and state why I'm calling. Sherry replies "...okay so...". Now I'm confused because she sounds like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. She asks why I'm calling and I explain again and ask what information she needs from me, she's still acting like she doesn't know. I state I'm getting frustrated and the VM Sarah left only states to call back that number. Sherry asks for my name, i reply "as mentioned at the beginning of the call, my name is....". Sherry responds and basically cusses me out saying I don't need to be rude and talk to her with my tone. Mind you, I'm in excruciating pain on the verge of tears. I start recording the call on my end because I was appalled with her response! I explain to her my predicament and finally was shown some empathy. I shouldn't have to explain my life story and break down into tears for a healthcare professional to show some empathy. Sherry does not need to be working there or in healthcare. Sarah was AMAZING! :) She deserves to be recognized for her upbeat demeanor and excellent care. Sarah is the reason this review is getting 1 star. Thank you Sarah for your kindness EDIT: Both Sarah and Sherry are trash. Sarah said based on my results, I got a referral for PT. Sarah stated she will send over my referral to the PT office. She told me to call in an hour but I know these things take a while and called a few hours later and left a VM. I called again this morning and was speaking to someone, getting registered, and turns out, Sarah NEVER sent it over. Neither Sarah or Sherry belong in healthcare. Carewell Northborough has the absolute worst care and customer service. You're better off going to your local witch doctor.

I tried calling the PCP the plan had assigned me and they couldn't see me for two days. Instead, I opted to go to THE DOCTOR IS IN! on Park Avenue-- he doesn't take insurance-- instead you pay $40 and get treated. THIS is the healthcare we should be pushing for in the US. His office was clean and welcoming-- a big screen tv, magazines, etc. I waited about three minutes and then was seen, treated, diagnosed and given a prescription and was on my way in under 15 minutes. BAM-- no insurance needed. Take out the middle man and bring healthcare back to the days when doctors ran their own little offices. This is a great place-- and even with my mandated insurance I will still opt to pay my own way and come here.

I had tried to go to CVS's Minute Clinic but they aren't allowed to give physicals in MA (and made me wait for 2 hours). I came here as my last resort, driving by at 4:45 after work to see that it opened at 5:30 After getting a quick dinner, I walked into the clinic at 5:30 to find that he had already started seeing patients. I was in an out by 6:00 with a letter for my employer and only down $60! In the time between when I walked in and when I left, the doctor probably saw about 4 or 5 patients and was still very friendly, kind, and helpful to me, taking his time in asking questions and listening to my answers.

I didn't know 50mg was a high dose. I have only ever had 10mg, but thought they must know best, so I stayed on it and on day three, my blood pressure dropped like a stone and I had to call 911. I was cleared by the EMTs but it was a scary moment. They told me the dosage was too high for the average person. The moral is to always ask about the medication - if they had checked my MyChart, they would have seen what my typical dosage is for when I get sick. I shouldn't have assumed, but I feel like they are at fault too for not being more thorough. The visit was rushed. I was in and out in 20 minutes!
