She invited us to include a small group of family and friends in the shopping and design session, making the day a delightful experience for us. The dress was fashioned from fabrics she recommended, sewn by her partner in Italy, and completed here in Fargo after my daughter's fitting. She took a personal interest in my daughter's dreams and desires. The dress was completed within our budget and within the promised time frame. Always prompt on communication and updates during the process from start to finish, we never worried about anything related to my daughter's gown. To me, as a mother, this was more than a business transaction. Evelina helped me and encouraged me through other matters in the year-long wedding planning process. She offered immeasurable emotional support and guidance to both of us, helping me with ideas throughout the entire wedding planning process and providing valuable advice based on her extensive experience in the wedding industry. She gets to know her brides on a very personal level. In my particular experience, I feel I have gained a new friend, and I genuinely believe she was like a "fairy godmother" to my daughter, helping her wedding dreams come true. Before finding her shop, my daughter and I shopped at larger markets, such as those in Denver, and bigger bridal stores, but nothing will ever compare to the delightful experience we had shopping at her downtown Fargo store. I waited a bit as a few store employees finished their non-work related conversation. Finally, one of the women asked if she could help. I asked if I could look at mother's dresses. She told me I had to have someone with me. She called over two women to help. Neither of them were very eager to help. I explained what I was looking for (long dress, navy or wine colored, flowy/short sleeved, some beading) and one of the women proceeded to pull a few dresses off the rack that were totally opposite of what I wanted. After half-heartedly showing me three or four dresses she said, "Yeah, I don't really know if we have what your looking for, so you can just look around." I left the store and visited another store nearby where I was eagerly greeted and assisted. Happily I found the perfect dress (after being shown at least eight dresses that fit the description I gave).

I have had a very mixed experience with this shop. The day I came in to try on dresses was amazing…read more I was beginning to think I wouldn't have that "say yes to the dress moment," but when the owner happened to walk by and asked to see my inspo photos, he immediately went to get a dress that ended up being the one. That was the highlight of my experiences with this shop. It was truly amazing. When we ordered the dress is when we started to have some issues. We had very clear communication about 2 small custom order things we wanted (lined bodice, changing a color somewhere). So I felt good leaving the store. When I looked closer at the receipt a few weeks later, I noticed the size was 2 sizes too big. I call the shop and they say it's a mistake on the receipt and that the dress is coming in the correct size... I think strange but ok. I go to try on the dress when it comes in, and it is 2 sizes too big. They're very apologetic and go check the order details to see that the correct size is on its way, and the person on the phone just placed a new order because it was too late to cancel the first. I think fine, they're fixing it, we have plenty of time. A few months later the new size comes in, but its bodice is sheer and not lined like we specified in the order. They end up making me pay around $100 for a yard of fabric to get shipped in so I can end up paying even more for a seamstress to sew it in. So overall I would recommend this place with a healthy amount of caution. They have the best variety that I've seen in Fargo but be very careful with communication and checking your receipts. Shopping off the rack is probably a perfect experience.

She did not even help with a few of the dresses as she was too busy putting things away. She didn't even use the brides name. We would not recommend this store to anyone, they almost ruined our day! On Sunday, my party of 4 and I showed up at 12, the same time the appointment was made. No one was there. We waited 15 minutes. I tried calling the store. No one answered and no one showed. We left. I tried to change the color since they were inconsistent with the swatches & the color is purple not pink. I had messaged the girl I worked with for my wedding dress & bridesmaids dress and she said the color would be "close enough" I'm sorry but close enough for my wedding isn't ideal. My dresses just got ordered and they won't be done until end of April but yet there can't be any changes made. This doesn't make sense to me whatsoever. I would not recommend.
