We hired Affairs to cater our wedding in May 2011. Kristy Cook was warm and professional through the tasting process and I truly felt that we were in capable hands. She had ideas and input that extended beyond our menu and made herself available for any-and-all of my pre-wedding questions and concerns. It soon became evident that, if there was one thing I DIDN'T need to worry about on the big day, it was the catering. The wedding was SPECTACULAR! The room and décor looked beautiful, the Affairs service staff was courteous and professional (even doting on my wheelchair-bound grandfather, which meant so much to me) and the food was out of this world. People came up to me during the reception specifically to rave about the corn and lobster shooters that were passed during the cocktail hour. Guests are still complimenting my parents about the shrimp and grits a month later! My only gripe was that I was too busy to eat more of them!! I would not hesitate to recommend Kristy and her team to anyone planning a special event. Cameron was the absolute best from our first tasting through the wedding night. He makes you feel like you're the only client even though he's working with many clients at once. My wife has a gluten allergy and Cameron did a great job with the in house chef on great food pairings and couldn't even tell they were gluten free. We had a few food critics at the wedding and they all agreed it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. It was truly an affair to remember! Catering our daughter's wedding at Little River Farms in Milton with just 4 months' notice, Chris McKinstry of ATR worked tirelessly to capture our vision and created a magical evening for our 150 guests. From the moment we arrived for our initial tasting, we could tell that we were in good hands. Their offices / showroom are incredibly appointed and their tastings showcased not only their fabulous food, but their professional service. It took 3 tastings for us to finalize our menu, but at no time did we feel pressured to make a premature decision. Chris' main concern was our perception of perfection. Then we moved on to the selection of the china, crystal, linens, etc. What a selection! He was even able to save us money by incorporating centerpieces from his inventory to supplement our florals at no additional charge. ATR's catering staff arrived on time and were pleasant and professional throughout the evening. The catering manager promptly introduced herself to me and wanted me to know that she was available to me for whatever I needed. Throughout the evening, the staff was unobtrusive and smooth with their service, and the food arrived timely and... more importantly, HOT! I've been to at least over 40 Affairs events and the food is always delicious, beautiful and way yummy. My favorite desert is their chocolate mint basil...the serving size is ridiculous for how rich and incredible it is. They cater for my company every year and do an amazing job. Absolutely the best deal for your money. ATR catered our daughter's wedding reception last weekend at a beautiful local venue (Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club). We attended several tastings to plan the menu along with them. All of the food is so delicious that it was difficult for our young couple to choose! They were extremely organized and worked with our wedding planner to ensure that the layout and theme were consistent with the "dream," and that the food was on time and hot. The on-site staff was managed by a leader who had the best smile and sense of gracious professionalism. She handled wedding guests that were less than polite with charm and that's invaluable on a day when the entire extended family is invited to spend time together even if some may not be as well behaved as others. The mac and cheese station with assorted toppings like bacon and chicken nuggets was a huge hit along with the Fall-themed risotto, bourbon barbecue pulled pork and savory mashed potatoes. Try the beef wellington appetizers too! Assorted desserts in shot glasses along with "S'Mores" pops by a roaring outdoor fire, topped off by warm cinnamon buns as a late night snack were amazing. Our guests were wowed. They are pricey, but worth it for the most special of occasions. Your guests will walk away having experienced a meal to remember instead of just something to tide them over until they can to the nearest fast food drive through. read more

Affairs to Remember catered our daughter's wedding two weeks ago. Dana was wonderful to work with - not only did she help us with food selections, but gave us some other wonderful ideas. Everyone raved about the food. The items we got the most raves about were the shrimp and grits bar, the fried green tomatoes, and the banana pudding shots later in the night. Although I didn't get much of a chance to eat that night, there was enough food leftover that 6 of us ate it for dinner the next night. I am in the process of planning my milestone birthday, and decided to contact Affairs to Remember based on the yelp reviews. I spoke to Cameron and he was very friendly, and professional. Cameron emailed a list of venues even though I advised him that I had already found a venue. The venues suggested were very nice, but I did not want to travel downtown especially on a holiday weekend with out of town guests coming. Cameron promised to provide a quote after we discussed menu options and budget. I NEVER received another response from him! This was totally unprofessional, and unacceptable. His excuse was that he must have not seen my email! Really??? Consequently, I found another caterer!! I was professional enough to call him to let him know that I hired another caterer! We recently had our wedding reception at the Fox Theatre, and Affairs to Remember catered it. Our guests have not stopped talking about the food at the wedding. Ever had collard greens and goat cheese on shrimp and grits? Neither had we, but it was amazing! I asked for a menu with a "southern touch". Affairs pulled together a menu that had a hint of the south to it without scaring away all our friends from New York who had never had grits! Affairs to Remember was so fun to work with from day 1. We worked with Kristy Cook, and even though I changed the floorplan on her three times, and switched my linen colors at least twice, she was extremely professional, polite, and more than happy to accomodate us. Affairs thought of everything! They set up a "dinner date" for us prior to the reception so that we could eat before being bombarded by our guests and they even prepared late night dinners for us which were delivered to our room. And last minute, we decided to not have a cake but to have a pie display. Affairs took care if it all. (The pie display was gorgeous.) And our guests devoured the pies! My family and I had such a great experience with Affairs. Coming from a huge Italian family accustomed to North Jersey weddings, this was definitely a challenge. Rich worked with my dad for months tweaking the menu with tasting after tasting until he was comfortable. We met with them several times over the year. They were professional and fun. They guided us through the process. We had the wedding at Fernbank Museum. Everything looked beautiful and was set up by the time our guests arrived. The staff were great. We had stations with food set up and they had staff to serve the guests at the stations. Everything you need is at their facility. Linens, table toppers, how you want your stations to look. We had a rustic theme and everything was perfect. Affairs to Remember is a great caterer and I do recommend it. The food was amazing and I received so many compliments from our guests. There were a few times when I would receive my menu for my review and it would be an older one before some changes we made but in the end the food that was served was exactly what we wanted. And there were supposed to be some chocolate truffles and that sort of thing passed around later in the evening and that didn't happen so I was a little disappointed. But the overall food and service was great and my husband and I got a very generous to-go package of our food which was awesome later :-) read more

Being from London and used to fine dinning i wanted to check them out.
