They treat the staff like they are a team as well as family. They also train their staff to be caring, responsible, observant and professional. The owner is very fair and has an open-door policy if you need to talk. She also has no problem with helping to assist with any issues that may arise. The pay is fair and competitive for this area and there is potential to move up if you are willing to put in the work.

The person in charge of billing, was rude to me. She stated that I didn't have to worry about the Long Term Care company paying for services, because she had billed them before. I explained that my concern was that the Long Term Care approved Always Best Care and payed for services rendered to my mother. I was supposed to have a zoom call to meet the caregiver before her start date which never happened, and the caregiver was late to her second day on the job. She did however have time to stop at the fast food restaurant for her coffee. All these small blunders added up to me cancelling my contract as I decided that this was not the company I wanted to care for my mom. I would look elsewhere for care for your loved ones.

There are 4 floors and are arranged by residents' needs and cognitive level. My mom seems very content to be amongst her peers, chit chatting, doing activities, going on outings and dining together. I'm so grateful for Silverado and all the staff. It has turned out to be the perfect place for my mom. She is safe, engaged, fits right in amongst her peers and has the support of staff who understand what she is going through. I'm actually not sure what we would have done had it not been for Silverado, and being right here, so close to home.

I had been sick for nearly a week and decided to make an appointment at Exer Urgent Care in Manhattan Beach, hoping to finally get some relief. I showed up on time, and to my surprise, the waiting room was completely empty. No patients, no wait list, nothing. I was taken back fairly quickly by a nurse or medical assistant who asked a few basic questions and took my vitals. After about five minutes, he told me the doctor would be "right in." That "right in" turned into 45 minutes of complete silence. No updates. No check-ins. No explanation. I was left sitting alone in the room, feeling worse by the minute, wondering if anyone even remembered I was there. Eventually, I walked out. As I was walking out I noticed 4-5 employees sitting together and chatting. Now I'm still sick and had to schedule with my primary care doctor, which is never easy. The soonest available appointment is days away, meaning I've been left to suffer even longer after wasting my time here. There is absolutely nothing "urgent" or "caring" about this place. If you're actually not feeling well and need timely care, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
