AFFINITO is hands-down the best pizza shop in the Lehigh Valley. While the pizza rightfully gets a lot of attention, don't overlook their pasta dinners--they're just as impressive. And the hand-breaded eggplant and chicken parm sandwiches? Absolutely incredible. Comfort food done right. That said, the one major downside is their cash-only policy. It's 2025--very few people carry cash anymore, and while there's an ATM on-site, it charges a fee. There's also been a sign up for over a year claiming they're working on accepting cards, but at this point, it feels more like a permanent excuse. If they truly wanted to, they could have a credit card machine installed within days. It's a small change that would make a big difference--and likely bring in even more business. I think we've tried every pizza place in the Lehigh Valley, and there are some winners and losers. Never felt compelled to write a review before, though. I'm hesitant to, because I don't want them to be even busier but I can't gate keep. This is hands down, unequivocally the very BEST pizza around. Service was amazing, the woman who took my order was a sweet older woman who knew most of the other customers coming in and going (great sign to me as a manager that they care about their customers genuinely). The food took a little while to be made only because there were about 8 other people in front of me for pick up and 4 people in the restaurant already sitting down to eat. I expected a wait and had no problem as I believe they only had 1 or 2 other people there in the back. It was an exceptionally reasonable wait time for the amount of orders coming in. They don't sell by the slice because it would slow down service/waste a lot potentially so I had about 2 slices left over for the next day (not a complaint at all as I was happy to indulge!). Multiple customers in there told me how good it was going to be while I was waiting which made me even more eager to try it. Overall a solid 5/5 I'm still thinking about the pizza and it's been a few weeks. You will not be disappointed getting one here let me tell you. This place has been on my to try list, and we decided to order tonight. My husband called and placed an order-50 minute wait- which is what we heard to expect so no problem there. When my husband came to pick up they gave him a hard time about not knowing his order number... He was never given one. Another lady came in soon after and they did the same thing to her, she never got one. (They told him they ALWAYS give an order number) ok! We ordered the original plain and a meat lovers. I've been searching the Lehigh Valley for a Pizza Parlor that can make a crispy crust Pizza like Affinito does. The ingredients are fresh, the taste is fantastic and the crust has zero flop. I recently got their cheesesteak hoagie and was surprised by the amount of flavor the sandwich had. The steak meat was seasoned perfectly and it was loaded with cheese, this is one of the better cheesesteak hoagies I've had. I am looking forward to trying their entrees. Wow! Amazing, incredibly good, heavenly food! This place is the best Italian I've had outside of New York and I would bet it could stand up to many a true Italian restaurant in Italy. The food is phenomenal. Everything is made to order and you can tell it. The margherita pizza was absolute perfection - thin with a "well done" crust, so nicely cooked that the slice stuck straight out & held its own weight, fresh mozzarella dressed across it with delectable hand-pressed fresh thick tomato sauce in the valleys between and just the right amount of basil for that earthy pop. The eggplant parm was delicious. The spaghetti alla panna was a rich & decadent sister to alfredo, but much more authentic tasting with just cream and Romano cheese folded together to create the noddle bathing sauce. The white pizza was one of the best things we had - with half topped with broccoli and half with spinach. The garlic was so fresh it just melted in your mouth with the mozzarella, ricotta and veggies. Again, the crust was dreamy - thin, crunchy & just perfect. We were so stuffed and took so much home in to-go containers but still wanted to try out a hoagie so we ordered one to go - simple ham and provolone and ate it the next day. My son and I agreed it's the best hoagie we've ever eaten. We can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. The food is absolutely divine. And on top of the food, the place is adorably cute inside, very cozy and small and the waitress was so kind, helpful and sweet despite being so busy almost the entire time we were there. They had order after order after order coming through the door. They could barely keep up with the demand. Affinitios is the he newest pizza place to come to Emmaus. I am always excited to see a new restaurant open up so we gave this place a try. They are currently in the soft opening phase, so the menu and hours were limited. At this point the menu is just pizza and sandwiches, no pasta right now. They are also only open from 4 to 8 currently. Last they are cash only, they said they plan to take credit cards in the future, but not right now. We got some pizza and garlic knots for take out. The pizza was some of the better pizza I had in the area, just the crust was a little over done, the garlic knots were on the dry side and a little burnt on the bottom, but still good. The cost was about average for the area. The place is a little small on the inside and definitely needs some decorating done on the inside, but everything is clean, that's the important part. The staff was friendly even with being busy and overwhelmed. Overall a quality addition to the pizza scene and I can't wait to try them out when they get all the bugs and kinks worked out. read more

On my way home from a class, I stopped in at 8:55 one night to hopefully buy a slice. I asked the server (Beverly) if they were open until 9:00, and she told me that they had closed at 8 pm that night, but she would be happy to serve me and would not turn me away. The owner, Chris, emerged from the back and said that I could have slices or if I preferred a pie, he would be happy to make it. I could not believe the hospitality. I ordered my slices, and Beverly insisted I sit down to eat. Beverly was so warm and friendly and we had a nice conversation. Place has lights-out pizza! Best I have had since relocating here. Grew up in New York City area and the pizza holds up. People were friendly and owner and I had great talk about the dough, oven type, etc. that goes into a quality pizza. This place has the Barstool/Dave Portnoy vibes to it.
