We did not expect to pay only for the part as you stated in your response, we merely wanted consideration and an adjustment to the price of the part due to the fact that the part was only $18.00. The technician told us the part would be $300.00. We did not in anyway, expect you to do the work for free, as you also said. The gentleman came on the rescheduled day and said he had to order the part. This was a Friday. He could not order it till next week he said????? It then proceeded to take 2 weeks for said part to arrive and in the meanwhile, I've had no ice maker for the entire Summer-when i finally had to call and inquire as to whether or not they had gotten a part that normally takes 2-3 business days with Sears they were pretty irritated towards me. Once again, it had to be a Friday and when the guy showed up he was less than warm and friendly. I am very disappointed in Sears as I pay for an extended coverage plan on EVERY appliance with them and all of my appliances are Kenmore Elite from Sears. I certainly hope they rethink sending third party vendors who aren't super focused on customer service. Or timeliness I might add. I would think that it would be a very simple task. Each time I talked with them, they said they would get it over soon. The owner said to text him instead, so I texted many times without a response and it was clear that the messages were being received. I am not sure what the reason is for not sending a basic receipt - either unprofessionalism, hiding costs for service charges, or something else. The service was good but I would not recommend this company if you are looking for basic professionalism that should be expected of any local service company. Not following through on your word is not a way to attract and keep clients. Even for an extremely basic task like sending a receipt. Our expectations are not very high but this company failed to meet them. No concern for the customer.
