We had a great experience at Affordable Glass. Front windshield was replaced quickly and affordably!

They were very helpful, quick and professional! 202 l0 Porsche Cayenne Turbo rear windshield. They had to remove the motorized spoiler trim etc. Rear glass was shattered and everything was cleaned up spotless like it never happened. Dropped the car off and they had it done in two hours. Best part is they were 1/3 of the price of the dealership.! I did not need OEM glass seeing how it was $2700 and they were $760 for the glass installed and you can't tell the difference. read more

Contacted a few places to get a quote to replace a windshield. Just like the name states, they were definitely the most affordable and they were able to do it within a day. Because I wasn't able to make the trip to their location, for a reasonable trip charge, they came and made the fix right in my driveway. Was interesting to watch the process. Dan was great - he let me know when he was in transit, when he arrived and walked me through the after care. Super nice and personable, I enjoyed talking to him. I had my car broken into last Monday while it was sitting on my street (whole back window shattered), and Affordable Auto Glass was recommended to me by my usual mechanic. They were able to come out and fix it by Friday for a reasonable price, and the tech, Jason, was very knowledgeable and considerate. The broken window had kicked off an otherwise rough week for me, and I had been putting off cleaning up all the broken glass inside the car until after the window was fixed, just in case the installation caused any further mess. To be honest I nearly cried a little when I saw that Jason had cleaned out the glass during the fix. I cannot recommend Affordable Auto Glass more, and I will be returning to them to get my windshield fixed someday hopefully soon. read more

A completely horrible company! Rude. NASTY!!! Abusive and uncooperative. Pat showed up angry because he had to drive an hour to get to my house. He does not use GPS. But his website states his business address is only 15 minutes from my house. When I pointed this out to him, he claimed he did not know why the website had the wrong address or even what website I was referring to. Except this is actually how I contacted him. Really? When he ran into a problem with the windshield he became belligerent and refused to discuss with my wife. Insisted on talking to me... even though I was on a business call. He suggested that I give him a tip because of the long drive he had. Because my windshield was torn apart and he refused to put it back together, I had no option. Then he had the nerve to ask me me to help him install the windshield!!!!! Totally disreputable and doing business under multiple company names including Auto Glass Milwaukee. BEWARE!!!!! Just called to get a chip repaired. Their website boasts willingness to come to us for day-of service in counties across Southeastern WI. When I called, he made it very apparent that their willingness to travel stops at perceived areas of poverty and crime. I was given the option to drive to meet someone or come to their shop, because "she's always saying she hates going into the inner city." The address I gave is for an area in a Milwaukee County Park. I was happy to share that it was clear he did not want my business, and even happier to write here that I refuse to support businesses who openly share their implicit bias and micro-aggressions against communities unlike their own. read more

Mike from Mars Auto has been taking care of our cars for many years. He is very experienced and knows how to find a problem and always knows how to fix it. We appreciate the convenience of Mike coming directly to our home and he has occasionally even come to my office to repair my car. My 10-year-old road warrior encountered a stone that flew off of an open bed truck on I-94, which left a nice fireworks-looking crack on my windshield. It actually looked beautiful in the sunlight. I figured I better get it replaced before I run into something and have to explain that I was mesmerized by the glinty prisms of the crack pattern on my windshield. I contacted Affordable Auto Glass. They showed up on time; replaced my windshield lickety-split; charged me what they originally quoted; and were pleasant and professional throughout the procedure. Called this morning after my drivers side front window shattered this morning unexpectedly (really, does anyone ever expect a window to break?). I work in Hartland and he said he would be able to come out the same day around 2 and replace it while I was at work. He called me a few minutes before 2 to let me know he was here. The work took less than 20 minutes, and the installation looked good as far as I can tell. They have a surcharge for CC payments, put Pat the installer was willing to follow me down the block to the ATM after the work was completed. The price was very fair and easily $80-$120 cheaper than the national competitor. Very satisfied and glad to not have to worry about my window any longer than needed! read more

I can't say enough about this (small) company; on 3 separate occasions, and 3 separate vehicles, we have received next day installation at our home & business for A LOT less than any other competitor could touch. My daughter's windshield was shattered by a passing dump truck while she was only home for a 2 day visit & they arrived first thing the next morning to do the replacement so she could drive back to MN in time. Not one windshield has had a leak or problem to date, but if one arises they back the job for 1 year. Check/cash payment is preferred or they pass on the cc fee they are charged (3%) but as a fellow small business owner I can understand this rational. I definitely would use them again but, let's be honest, I hope I don't have to! read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! On 7/10 I called Affordable Auto Glass to replace my windshield. I paid for it and tipped the installer. The next day I noticed a sizable scratch in the new windshield. I called the owner, Pat, who contacted his son who did the installation. Pat said his son did notice the scratch at the time but didn't say anything. Pat said his son should have said something. At first Pat was apologetic and seemed to want to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. He said he may be able to arrange to get the scratch buffed out but didn't know if it could be depending on the kind and depth of the scratch. On 7/14 he said he arranged for me to go get the scratch buffed out from the place he purchased the glass. I discovered that the place was in Delafield which is quite a distance for me. I called Pat to express my concern about taking so much of my time and my gas for an issue that was his company's fault. He became rude saying that "he knows my type," I will "never be satisfied" even threatening to just come and take the windshield. I was shocked at this as I was just trying to state that I was going out of my way to try and fix something that I had paid for that wasn't right. He said "you've got me because my son didn't say anything and should have so you've got me, and now you'll never be satisfied." I told him I just wanted what I paid for-a new windshield without a scratch. He again generalized about "my type" and didn't want to deal with "my kind." He rudely asked me what I wanted making no offers. I told him that damaged merchandise usually involved a discount. He was very unwilling to give anything, finally offering $40. I told him I would take it plus the $10 tip as his son was the one who caused the issue. He argued finally saying he would send it and hung up. I went on 7/15 to try to get the scratch buffed out but it was too deep and could not be repaired. I waited patiently for the promised $50 but have not received it. I called to follow up on this on 7/29. He told me it was in the mail and hung up on me. On 7/31 I received an UNSIGNED check for $50 from Affordable Auto Glass postmarked 7/30. read more

They fixed the window like we hired them to do but didn't reassemble the inside door handle properly. It kept coming loose. On three occasions we tried to get him to fix it with no success. He doesn't want to stand behind his work once it's done. Go elsewhere where they guarantee their work and know what customer satisfaction means. Cheap isn't always better. read more

Wish I could post pictures of the absolute awful job they did on my 2013 bmw. They showed up without the molding they were supposed to have so they showed me a universal molding that was supposed to work. It looked nothing like what they showed me, there is big gaps in the corner, it does not go up to the roof like it is supposed to, it doesnt cover the edge of the roof rack like it is supposed to, and the windshield is so low I can barely see the vin. I called the next day when I saw it and pat put the blame on me somehow. After convincing him to come look at it he said it was fine. After explaining to him that this would not be ok on my $500 beater let alone a $20000 bmw We agreed I would go get the correct molding and he would come back and fix it. I called him a few days later when I got the molding, and again he told me it was my fault. I reminded him that he said he would come back and fix it and he told me that he was not going to be told what to do and then hung up on me. I tried calling back and he will not answer for me now. read more
