They did a great job putting tires on my minivan. They have a very clean waiting area.

Call owner and he says to bring it in and he will look at it. I was leaving for vacation the next day so he said call him when I get back. Call one week later, long of the short of it is I call numerous times and leave messages, emails, etc with no response. Realize I'm getting nowhere so I take car to another shop and am told that ALL of the parts that were supposedly replaced on the car before I bought it were very much NOT recently replaced. $2k in repairs and the shop still couldn't get the car running. Took it to the dealership and they tell me it needs a new engine. So I'm $7k into the car and only drove it for 3 weeks. Scrapped it and got $500. Completely ridiculous.

And it needed something with the breaks. I had someone look at the car 1 month after buying it and they told us that there was a timing chain problem and the dealer ship assured us nothing was wrong with the car. They blamed me for driving the car. They told me that I drove it to much and the engine died. I have never been more dissatisfied in a business. When I picked up the car he was ridiculously rude. When my car was getting the engine put in they where more then rude to us on the phone about when we would get back out car. Never ever buy a car from here. I gave it 1 star because it was the only way to review it. I would give it no stars if that was an option.

He returned my phone calls or emails in a timely manner and always followed through with any questions or concerns I had. In addition, he coordinated the truck transfer from WI to MA. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Even though two mechanics have said that the damage was due to the fact that it was installed improperly and that's terrible and this poor kid it's going to cost him all this money. He's had to pay for rental cars at over $300 so far due to the fact that they don't or won't give him a loaner and it's coming out of his pocket which he doesn't have is eating out of a little paycheck. Pat, I'm paying for the major repairs is a and I am on social security with a very limited income and them people are dishonest. Have absolutely no scruples. They have no care for other people whatsoever. They're in it strictly for the freaking money and it's probably one of the worst service departments I've ever dealt with with the exception of another Ford dealer located closer to me

The things I haven't been impressed with was waiting over 30 minutes to sign the papers and receiving our title in the mail they put and instead of or. Now it's $ to get a corrected title and our time. The windows were rather streaked when we picked up the car. The car needed to go back in on Monday for a few items to be added. They gave me a loaner and told me to make sure it came back with a full tank. My vehicle came back 1/4 tank less, why not put in what you used. Other little issues, but these are the ones that really irked me.

I recently brought my 2017 Toyota Corolla to Russ Darrow Toyota on August 4th, 2026, for a…read morediagnostic check. I left Russ Darrow with more questions than confidence. The initial concern regarding my vehicle was loose handling and it felt like it was pulling to the left. I requested a diagnostic of the suspension, alignment, and brakes to be checked. My appointment was at 11:00 AM and I received a call at 1:13 PM that the vehicle had been fixed and was ready for pick up. I was provided with an invoice for the following services: 1. Diagnosis / Inspection Front Brakes 2. Perform Front Brake Service 3. Front Brakes at 7mm / Rear Brakes at 6mm 4. Perform Alignment Check 5. Tru Video Inspection 6. Complete Multi Point Inspection The Service Advisors, Rob and Kimberly, told me the issue was caused by a sticking brake caliper. However, I DID NOT receive a Tru Video inspection of the services performed on the brakes. Then, the team at Russ Darrow provided an alignment report showing differing numbers for "Before" and "After" when they only did a CHECK, not an actual alignment. If a true check was performed, the "Before" and "After" numbers should have been identical. Plus, one of the readings was OUT OF SPEC and the invoice clearly states, "ALL OK WITHIN SPECS" - see attached images. Additionally, I asked for a measurement of the friction pad thickness on my brakes. The technician, Christopher Eckes, reported that there was 7mm on the front and 6mm on the rear. Hard to believe these readings were accurate when the brakes were replaced 3,000 miles ago with an initial 12mm of pad thickness. To top it off, I DID NOT get a Multi-Point Inspection report. Given the lack of a TruVideo inspection, fraudulent alignment report, questionable brake pad measurements, and the absence of a printed multipoint inspection, I left the dealership genuinely concerned about the condition of my brakes. Instead of feeling reassured by the inspection I paid for, I was left wondering whether my brakes were safe or if any work had been done at all! My biggest concern is not the cost--it's the accuracy, transparency, and credibility of the inspection and documentation. When a dealership reports measurements and diagnoses that don't appear to align with the vehicle's recent service history, it undermines customer confidence. I have contacted Toyota corporate and requested that they review the documentation and investigate these discrepancies. I hope Russ Darrow Toyota uses this as an opportunity to improve transparency, improve its inspection process, and restore customer trust.

Part of the expense was a new car battery which I will give the benefit of the doubt to the dealership and blame it on the polar vortex, but the auto shop found a rats nest in the filter and had to give the engine a tune up. If I had known we'd be putting another $1500 into the car, I definitely would have negotiated the price more.* We had a great experience buying our car here. It doesn't have bells and whistles and fsalesmen in suits, but it does have knowledgeable straightforward owners who treat you like equals and don't make you feel like you're being outsmarted or manipulated. They have free car faxes on file for all of their vehicles. It was a quick and easy process and we walked away with a car we feel good about. Will update after we've had it for awhile!
