However this recent job was bigger than what I had the time or tools for and I couldn't be happier with the service I received here. I brought in my Silverado to have the hydraulic lifters deleted due to a failed lifter. I had suspicions of other issues but were assured by other mechanics that they didn't exist. I only spoke Leon personally who has impeccable customer service and knowledge. He was able to give me the best price around and clearly had the knowledge necessary for the job. It took a little longer to get the vehicle into a bay than expected and while most shops wouldn't bother Leon called and maintained communication throughout the entire job which is such a small thing that goes such a long way. The delay was perfectly understandable, I know personally no job ever goes as smooth as you expect. After the initial tear down Leon reached out again to let me know that my suspicions were correct and a few other things needed to be replaced or at the very least were worth doing while it was tore down and about at that time anyway. Leon was able to get me a fair price on parts and replace everything I was looking at getting done anyway. Leon was even honest enough to talk me out of a more expensive replacement other shops had told me was necessary and provide me the education why it wouldn't be worth it. Trucks been running great for about a month now. Absolutely no complaints. Can't thank these guys enough for all the work and actually being good to the customer. I recommend these guys to everybody I know now.

We recently bought a used car from someone that had issues shortly after. The previous owner…read moredirected us to this shop which is where they had their repairs done (we were told the issue was something hat had been fixed last summer.) Mike was nice enough to wave the labor charge but once her got into the engine it turns out it wasn't what we were told and the car needed a new engine. We'd just had a baby and waited two plus weeks to hear the diagnosis. We came up with the money for a new engine and waited. Called again after a couple of weeks. That engine had been dropped and cracked. So we waited for another to be ordered and delivered. Along with another part. A little over two months after our car was dropped off we finally got the call it was done and that everything was fine. It's not. My husband could tell driving it home something wasn't right. Even after asking Mike that everything was working he offered a simple fix. Flush the system since it sat for so long. Not the issue. After taking it to her another mechanic and getting a diagnosis it turns out some of the hoses are dry rotted and we now have an oil leak onto exhaust along with issues in the engine we just paid to have put in the car. We would have preferred to have everything fixed and I had hoped we could find a trustworthy mechanic to keep coming back to but that will not be this shop. I'm disappointed with our service and the time it took.

I brought my car to Andrew because the a/c wasn't working. He confirmed the compressor wasn't turning but after checking my mileage he stopped short, in case I was still covered under warranty. Even though I had ruled out my warranty eligibility, he wanted to be sure so he called the dealer for me! They were still not certain so he suggested I take a little time in his office to call the corporate line. Ultimately, the manufacturer gave me clearance to get the repair under warranty. Thanks to Andrew's good faith, I saved money on this one. It really says something about his business, to go out of the way to look out for my money. His website also has a cool blog detailing their business philosophy-- to provide the customer with high quality labor at an agreed upon price while refusing to greatly mark up and hide the cost of parts as other shops do. That's what got me in the door. They're also super convenient to Aloma and University on the Semoran side of town. I'll be back when my older family car has trouble.

Do not visit this shop it's a scam at best and incompetent at worst!…read more I originally brought my car here for a water pump job because my normal shop was too busy. Mechanic plus replaced the pump and I drove the car for a few months before noticing the coolant leaking and oil leaking. I went to my normal shop for the oil leaking when they told me the pump was leaking again. I got the oil leaks fixed and took it to mechanic plus and the first time they claimed they pressure tested it and it was fine. I brought it back about a month after because the leak was getting worse. I dropped it on Saturday when they were closed and got a call Monday morning saying they replaced the pump again. No way they did that job in a morning. Sure enough the next day it was leaking coolant faster than before. Took it to my main shop and they informed me that the pump was never replaced and that the problem was just a broken clamp above the pump. Not only did mechanic plus lie and claim they warrantied the pump but they probably never looked at the car or they would have seen the broken clamp. Even if your car breaks down in their parking lot tow it somewhere else.
