These are independent businesses, and the main website drop down options at the top do not apply to every office. I went to the one on Cattlemen, and they do not offer fixed secure implants. I was there for two hours for a 3D extra, consult with the 'lead' nurse, met with the doctor, and decided to move forward with the snap-secure option. I called today in follow up to a message I received, and found out that a)the lead nurse I worked with was out for 10 days. b)when we reviewed my records on the call, I was designated economy plus dentures!! The regular, everyday take out at night dentures. That's not what I wanted. The problem was that said 'lead' nurse kept being pulled away to other patients by what I can only assume were new employees, got my choice mixed up and we were heading down the wrong treatment path. The call I received was a generic call, and they were still waiting for cardiologist response to proceed with the surgical extractions, etc. What a cluster. If you decide to go, make sure what they write down is exactly what you want! You'll be at the front desk paying your portion and find out after that they are not affiliated with the other practices that offer permanent implants. I will not recommend anyone to take a chance with this office, and don't plan to move forward with my treatment/care. Luckily, I am getting a refund of what I paid. But alas, the X-rays and casts they took are not available to have. Oh, the staff were friendly, if not a bit in the weeds during my visit. read more

Dawn made things right with the teeth(she kept her word) Ebony and Toya are some of the best employees there(Dawn too). They both took the extra time and finally got the dentures to fit. I started going to Affordable Dentures in 2019. The office was in a horrible mess, the office manager was very micromanaged and stressed beyond belief there was no leadership the care I got was horrible to say the least the quality was substandard but I had already been committed because I had spent several thousand ($7,000) dollars and was in the position not to be able to go anywhere else. the surgeon was horrible when I had questions he would not come in the room to speak to me he would speak to me through his dental assistant or send a different doctor in talk to me. the office experience that I experienced was even worse. The girls at the front desk had no idea what was going on or what they were doing they kept changing how much I owed and were overcharging me (the Dr. kept changing the prices) so I had to keep an eye on what was going on. Then in 2022 Dawn took over as the office manager and everything changed she was very patient focused and an excellent office manager organizing things being a liaison between the patients and the doctor. She did her best to help with problem solving she was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer questions and satisfy answers to the questions that we had. She was very fair and there were little to no error in the accounting and bookkeeping. She is very kind. she is the reason why I did not pursue other avenues to get my money back and go somewhere else that and the fact that they brought in another dentist that knew something about implants. I gave this rating of 1 (one) because of all the heartache and horrible experiences that I had in this office prior to Dawn arriving. I still go in for adjustments to the inserts of my implants and I would be extremely upset if I was to go in and see that Dawn was no longer in the office. she is extremely well liked by the patience and her staff and I'm sure they feel the very same way that I do. read more

Been putting off posting this review hoping to contact the national headquarters---until I realized this is another thing this "company" hides in a cloud of deception! Like actually getting through on the phone! Or getting the dentist to "actually see me!" I've had nothing but problems ever since office manager Melissa left! IN FACT....she was the primary reason I chose to do business at this office; that and at the time I believed in DR Jase Hackney as a dentist and a man. *****Not so much anymore***** In addition to the above mentioned problems, Affordable Dentures "sold" me a lower partial that had metal anchor that rode on a rear molar filling! Even I knew that would become problematic; in fact the partial caused the filling to fall out after a few times wearing partial....Affordable kept putting off fixing the situation....and finally the cavity grew to the size of a wooden pencil eraser! And it became infected and quite painful. By now, Melissa has left....and front desk staff both unprofessional, undertrained, and not lasting long. Eventually I had to have tooth extracted and the area treated---all because Affordable Dentures improperly designed and constructed an apparatus that harmed my health....wasted my time and money....and cost me my tooth. After numerous attempts to ACTUALLY TALK with Dr Hackney.....I was given a credit card refund for failed partial. When I sought to be repaid for tooth needing extraction and further treatment, I was told I was discharged as a patient and would not receive future treatments! So....in addition to the 2 years chasing justice at Affordable Dentures....I have a worthless partial....a hole where a tooth used to be...and the costs to extract and treat destroyed tooth....and the costs, pain, and time all wasted. They suck if you are paying out of pocket. The low price advertised is a bait-and-switch. They pressure you to upgrade saying things like "Oh, those are just meant to be temporary" and "those won't last, you have to upgrade". They were recommended by my Dentist, at the time, as he didn't offer denture services. I had a well fitting top & bottom set of partials ...but needed to have them relined. They indicated that they couldn't do that and would have to have new frames made. Numerous delays with the metal frames being made poorly made, poor fitting, wrong set, pushed the delivery toward the 2nd month. I asked why not just reline my frames since your having some outside outfit made the new frames and they're not being made inhouse...they couldn't answer that. When you go there....you may be seen by a Dentist once.....but after that everything will be handled by a dental assistant...I'm talking all the fitting and adjustments! Also you have to pay in advance....not after product is found to be satisfactory. Finally The day arrived and I was given the new set of partials....they managed to get them in my mouth and get me out the door. I had to pull them out before I arrived home, as they hurt too much and haven't been able to wear them as they were so poorly made. The metal frames look like they were made by somebody who doesn't do this for a living and fit like they didn't take much of a impression of my mouth. The thought of taking these back for them to make some "adjustments" would seem to be a waste of my time, as I was already into the 2nd month and the way they were made...I doubt they could be made to fit right. At the time I bought these...they had a one adjustment policy. It is my opinion that this is a place that will take plenty of your money in exchange for poorly made, ill fitting product and will string you along. if you want to "feel like a number" ...this is the place! My back tooth started giving me problems for about two weeks. I kept putting off getting it looked at because I currently don't have dental insurance. I originally went to the St. Petersburg site which was closed. I ended up calling the main number I was able to get an appointment at the Tampa location. I hopped on the interstate and made it to the office at 9:30am. I was treated very well, the assistant Jennifer was very friendly and caring. Dr. Moravian was AMAZING it was pain free the entire visit cost $380 which I would gladly pay again! I highly recommend this location! By the way I was done at 11:30. read more

I went to them because they were convenient and could accommodate me quicker. They grossly misrepresented the price. They convinced me the price I paid after my first appointment was the total price. The bill they gave me did say in fine print it was for my temporary set but even though I have 30 years business mgmt experience it was very deceptive. I got my new dentures here about 8 years ago. I had to use a lot of adhesive to hold denture in. I was new to this so i thought that was part of the deal. The top plate broke about 2 months ago. I tried endlessly to get through by phone, but never did. I got through to Affordable Dentures in Clearwater. Paid for consultation-( X- ray, Dentist, etc.) Receptionist was extremely rude . I received an X-ray and never did see a dentist as promised. I decided to try Florida Dental here in Clearwater. The quality and fit of my new denture is fantastic ! I put in 2 drops of adhesive and could barely get it out it fit so good. For only a few bucks more they are truely professional and not an assembly line set-up. I got new dentures here in 2020 mainly because of the pandemic my choices were limited. When I got them the staff were accommodating and very kind and courteous. I purchased the more expensive dentures with four year repair or replacement. Fast forward to 2022. A month ago I hit into a piece of toast and one of the front teeth fell out and my daughter took off work to take me for an 8:20am appointment and I sat there for an hour past my appointment time to be treated like crap. I let it go until now. Last night I bit into a soggy taco and one of the eye teeth fell out. I super glued it back in but that didn't last as I had to super glue it again this morning. Affordable dentures are the worst place to get anything done. Save yourself time, money, and trouble and go anywhere else. I'm a disabled veteran and I don't have a car so to get back to these people my daughter has to take off work. I have never in over thirty years of wearing dentures had such an awful experience and been treated with such disregard after spending over a thousand dollars for the extended warranty. For dentures - bought the best available 7 year guarantee. Worked fine, but "bone and gums" change over time. Almost a year later, went back and they tr-cast and re=made the enture denture. Very good fit. after another year plus, still more movement of bone & gums. Went back in - THEY WOULD do NOTHING! Warranty covers only "breakage of denture after you've had ONE Re-Make. Still work OK, but now have to use "denture creams" to get a really great fit. JUST BE AWARE! read more

i went to get an affordable denture implants quote and i did decided to get the work done, because i was desperate to remove the teeth that were causing pain. so, i paid in full and set my appoinment for two weeks. the very next morning 9:15 am my daughter & i decided to cxld the appt because of a hospital emergency visit during that night with i high deductible. we tried several times to cxld but the kept saying that there is a $500 cxld fee. i told them is two weeks from now not a (24-hr) cxld fee like it stated on the office door front. they gave us such a hard time. we did not agreed with their late cxld charge. they said i would have to go into the office. i could not go into the office because of my hospital visit restrictions. so the following monday i went into the office after work and the were charging me $1000 to cxld. i refused to accept that rediculous charge. i went over all we spoke spoke about the previous friday. they said the temporary dentures and partials were already done. i told them that is not fair that they still made the dentures after we tried to cxld friday morning. they insisited that i have to pay for them. i stated that i will not be paying for such thing. they are crooks including the office manager which she refused to talk to me. i had to get my money back $11,000. it is not fair that they do this to people. they then said they will charge me $800. still not fair crooks!!!!!!!!! they are not affordable and do things to get paid no matter what. no concideration for human beings. they did the denture work even if i cxld the very next morning. crooks!!!!!!!! they refused to give me all my money back. do not go there they are crooks!!!!!!!!! they charge the $800 still. read more

Aside from the prices, which do seem to be lower than traditional dental practices, one of my favorite things about this location is their availability. You can usually get a procedure scheduled within a few days and if you ever need adjustments they can get you in on very short notice and as often as you want. Unfortunately I didn't have a driver so I couldn't be sedated during my procedure, and my only real complaint was that the actual dentist I saw didn't have the best bedside manor. He was complaining about staffing issues, not having the right equipment, etc all throughout my procedure, which was not helping ease my already high anxiety and discomfort. Overall though, you get a good value out of getting your work done here. The assistants are all very nice and the receptionists Shiloh and Bridgette are so incredibly kind, comforting and helpful. read more

The Tampa office is the absolute WORST. Careless as all get out. My mom got dentures two years ago and and one has since come out of her mouth entirely. (Which was never supposed to happen unless there was face trauma) nobody answers the after hours number. And when you do call, they take messages and never return calls and then blame you for never calling. They're rude and extremely careless. I love this place and the people who work there! Getting implants has been a year-long process for me (since sometimes i'm out of state for research), but the employees are all really nice and know me by name. They make me feel comfortable and happy to be there, like they genuinely care about my experience! The appointments are always quick, I never have to wait very long in the waiting room. I've never had a problem with the implants and the whole process was great! I'm really glad that this place gave me an affordable option, since it's difficult dealing with large bills on a student budgets. I spent $150 for reinstall one dropped off artificial tooth to a down-side partial by this Affordable Denture in Tampa FL. But only 20 days after this clinic put it on, this tooth dropped off again. Then asked them put this tooth on again, only about 2 months, it broke and dropped off again. It is apparent that this clinic uses very poor bond materials. Meanwhile, I have other artificial teeth on the same partial, which have lasted for long time and some of them have lasted more 20 years. It is really disappointed. read more

I got my dentures done here. the staff is very friendly and efficient. they do not take insurace due to the low cost of things and they also do not put you to sleep as well. but they do give you a very heavy oral sedative that works wonders. I choose to get a package that gives me 2 pair of dentures and unlimited adjustments. It was a extra $1000 dollars but worth it. I also got a slightly upgraded pair of dentures to start off with, they also give you the option to upgrade when you get the finals in about 8 months. all and all i would recommend them to a friend like one did to me. the only part that was bad is being awake for the extractions read more

They asked for $15,300.00 upfront before services. I paid and went in for extractions and implants. I had to have temporary dentures during the healing process and they didn't fit. Would just fall out. I couldn't talk I couldn't eat. I kept going back for help and Dr. Hackney would not come in to see me I had to deal with his assistants. On the 4th revisit I said I wanted an apt. with Hackney only. I show up the assistant walks in and I said I have an apt. with the Dr. only. She said ok let me get him. He did not see me. I decided to stop services and requested a refund for services not rendered. They agreed to do it. Here we are 2 years later and he kept my entire $15,300.00. I had to pay another Dr. for same services. My calls do not get returned, my emails are ignored. I just filed a complaint with the BBB maybe they can help me. I had received terrible care from another dentist in the past and felt a little uneasy, but I couldn't have been more wrong. From my initial experience at the front desk, to Dr Hackneys assistant explaining to me all the services offered. I never felt like I was pressured into anything. Dr Hackney listened and provided a affordable game plan moving forward. I went yesterday and had a tooth extracted and mini implants placed. I didn't feel a thing. I was given instructions and medications prior to my procedure. I even received a follow up call today to make sure that I was o.k. . He and his dental office has changed my life.... i am still having problems with my dentures i got from them a little over a year now. they don't fit right and haven't since day 1. i have called and they told me that they are going to charge me for a reline. you mean to tell me that i have to pay for a reline when i have told you time and time again they don't fit right. i have to use more and more glue for the bottoms. i have a hard time eating i can't go out with friends if i do i have to take bottoms out to eat. my self esteem is shot over this. i feel i don't want to eat because of it. one time i was told to look into the implants. ok that is another 2-4000 when i already paid in cash 5,000 it's all about the money with them. if i was you stay away go to someone else who will take care of you don't waist your money on dentures you will be throwing money out there window. update i was told today that for a reline on my dentures i would have to pay 180.00 together them done when from day one after get my perms in they didn't fit right they fall out all the time. i have to put so much glue to hold them down or in. they are all about money and nothing else go to someone else get a 2nd opinion before going to see these crooks thieves. they will tell you that you should do the implants when i already paid over 5,000 cash and i wish i didn't do it. because at first they are great but after they get your money watch the change in them. stay away. read more
