The worst experience ever. I was told I would get a free consultation and x rays. I never saw a dentist. A dental assistant sat me in a chair and asked which dentures I would be purchasing. I had no idea what they offered. I asked to see samples and they showed me samples of three different dentures from three different molds. It is hard to make a split decision when you are about to pay 4k for dentures. When I continued to ask questions the assistant walked out of the room and sent in the office manager. I was confused. The office manager introduced herself and asked which dentures I would be purchasing when I asked questions and she was short. I finally said I won't be getting dentures her. She said fine and took off the dental bib. It was a horrible experience. From the moment I walked in the receptionist asked me for ID. I asked her why and she said, she didn't know they just take IDs. The paperwork is ridiculously long. Further, they do not accept insurance but insisted I sign a paper that says if insurance doesn't pay, I am responsible. Why would I sign a form that had no relevancy to the care I am receiving. Lastly, they asked for my social, which I refused to give them because payment is due at the time you decide which dentures you are purchasing. So why do they need a social security number. There are no payment plans or credit so social security numbers are unnecessary because there is no debt owed. Got temp denture top arch, I couldn't afford bottoms that snapped in and any other dentures wouldn't stay in or work. So I was convinced that just the tops would work with my existing bottom teeth. In fact, everyone on that team, from Casey, Michelle and all the rest are very professional in everything they do... truly a joy to be around. After Dr. Coulter stepped in and took over "Affordable Dentures" in Melbourne, it wasn't long before people started talking more favorably about this practice. I needed an implant put in on my right side summer of 2023. After preparing the place my tooth was screwed and cemented in. In April 2025 I had 2 teeth fall out and front tooth chipped. I found dental insurance that covers alot and had my first appointment the first of May. After taking x-rays the dentist came in and talked about what needed to be done. I asked him about these metal things in my mouth were causing pain to my tounge. He reassured me it was an implant and said they could fix it. I called them on my way home only to go in the next morning. He asked me where the tooth was? I said what tooth, the one you screwed and cemented in? He said yes....I said that shouldn't have fallen out after just being put in 1 year and 5 months. He said it would be 1,000.00. I said I didnt think so. He said he would check with the lab and see what he could do. I got what I thought was corporate office number just to find out they are independently owned. She would talk to them and get back with me. I left her 2 messages and she finally got back with me letting me know it would cost 1,000.00. I then contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. See when I lived in NC my husband and I could fix cars...the LABOR IS OUTRAGEOUS. Just couldn't swallow one tooth unless this happens alot. Will keep you updated. read more

From the initial consult to the final adjustment of my permanent dentures, my experience with Affordable Dentures of Melbourne FL has left me very pleased with my decision! I had 15 extractions, and 4 posts implanted in my lower jaw. After the healing was completed, I was fitted for the permanent denture. As lower dentures tend to "float", I had the posts implanted. The permanent lower denture just snaps onto the posts, and stays in place. The upper denture does not require any adhesive to stay in place. I couldn't be happier; I was able to eat steak again! The staff was wonderful, from Dr. Coulter for consult and extractions, to Casey and Michelle who will not let you leave the office until the permanent dentures fit perfectly! My husband paid well over 1,500 for the Economy package was told to wait 12 months and never received his second dentures and they refused to refund us for services they did not earn. Wishing there was a way to get our money back. Affordable Dentures should be ashamed of themselves and the woman working at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend them to anyone. Not sorry but you should not steal money that you did not earn from a patient who could have used it to get another pair of dentures somewhere else. Have been a customer since 2010. Upper denture and my bottom teeth are shot but have not went the denture route yet. Have had two lower teeth pulled with the last one in August of 2015. Called yesterday 3/1/17 in the morning and they never called back, so called again in the afternoon and was told to come in at 8:00 next day. Went in and was told that I needed an x-ray of the tooth (front lower which is so loose it is about to fall out by itself) I needed pulled. Asked when that started and was told that is the way it always was. Told her to pull up the last time I was there and what was done. She did and it says I was there to have a tooth pulled and no x-ray was taken! She told me it is the law. So how come was it not the last time? What a disaster! My wife started Octomber, 2021, now 8 months later still no teeth, I can understand the extractions and the 4 implants she had done, but now for the past 2+ months we have been going every week (30 miles each way) for impressions, the first time didn't come so they gave a temporary one (Upper and Bottom) which the bottom one she couldn't ware was hitting her too much, went back few more times for adjustments with no improvement, approximate one month ago they say the denture was to go and try it and another strike...more adjustments, 2nd week more adjustments, 3rd week more adjustments and pick color, so she did, back yesterday supposing that was the last visit, no good again, so they say that they don't the right machine, they gave us a name and number of another dentist and offered us some money to go and see another dentist and sign a release of all responsibility (wrong), we called the other dentist and the price redo the dentures it is more than double of what they have offered, I want to mention that they want to get pay in full when they took the first impression. As a result, my wife has been eating good meals for almost 8 months and she lost lots of weight. Not to mention the attitude of the ladies at the front desk. read more

I have never been treated so badly by any other professional office I have gone to. Once I paid the $6000 for my implants it became difficult to get appointments or have any concerns I had. I called to make an appointment since my implants are crooked and the left side of my mouth bleeds daily and the right side holds any food that I am eating. I called and asked to have my implants adjusted assuming I would get an appointment with the dentist. I had 2 girls who told me they look fine. I stated that don't feel fine. When I smile, the right side is lower than the left side. The girl took them out and then came back and didn't say anything. She shoved them in my mouth and was pulling my top lip at that same time. She was being so rough and I told her, why are you being so rough. That hurt, you were pulling my upper lip in. She didn't seem to care at all. I asked to speak to the dentist and was told he is too busy. I would have waited to just speak to him for a minute. There is no need to treat anyone in that manner. She gave me a hard time and I stated your not doing me any favors, you get paid for your job. What is wrong with people????? How can they be so rude. I am 63 years old, just lost my husband, just had a shoulder replaced, and my mouth hurts every time I put the implants in. I now have to wait 3 more weeks before the dentist can see me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are really nice when you are ordering your implants but after they get the money they don't care about you at all. This office is all about money. I went there for a repair on an upper denture. Had to return twice for an adjustment and two weeks later had to return because one of their replacements broke off. I paid $205 for the initial work but in order to correct the problem they demanded an additional $115. No guarantees they said and no price deduction. According to their price list, I paid same as the cost of a new plate. To add insult to injury, the staff member who attended me was extremely confrontational and unprofessional . My friend went here to find out what his options were to get his lower teeth done and was seen by Dr. Timothy Luong. Dr Luong had a very poor bedside manner and did not explain much except that if he wanted implants that it started at around 1500.00 a tooth and to get lower dentures it would cost 2500.00 and was very persistent that Affordable Dentures was the "walmart of dentistry" and then referred him to 3 other dentists and told him to check out the the others because Affordable Dentures again was the "Walmart of Dentistry" according to Dr. Luong and so he after the poor bedside manner and rudeness of Dr. Luong and staff, my friend did choose to go down the street to where Dr. Luong referred him to New Image Dentistry Dr. M. Ahmed and it was the best choice he made. The staff got him right in and was very polite, every option and procedure was explained and Dr. Ahmed was very professional and even was $800.00 lower on dentures than Affordable Dentures! DO NOT go here! When I went in to have my teeth removed for the denture he had prescribed meds prior to the appointment. I took them as directed. When I got to the office I was told to take more even though I didn't need to. Then the doctor took what was left. Highly illegal! This doctor asks for hugs from patients. If you tell him you're in pain or can't eat his response is "Well, I gave you a free pass to Jenny Craig" or some other slick remark. I was supposed to have gotten my permanent denture 6 months after the initial visit. I got them after 10 months. I had the implants. I paid almost $5000 and got a denture that rocks back and forth, the color is way off, the teeth are too high, the gum of the denture shows when I smile. I told them I hate this denture and was told to use adhesive even though that's why I had implants, so I wouldn't have to use adhesive. I paid for the premium denture and when it was time to make the denture was told they don't use that anymore. So the doctor made me sign a paper stating he upgraded the denture at no cost to me as a part of his "community service contribution." So I'm stuck with this painful ugly denture that I paid almost $5000 for! After a second opinion, I was told the implants are too close together. That's why it rocks and is painful! In order to fix this problem, it's going to cost another $3500! That's just a short summary of what I went through. And I don't even dare mention the countless trips to the office, mostly for NOTHING! The doctor tried to get me to have my top teeth done. I told him no. I can't afford it. This costs almost $500 a month. Until I pay this off NO! He said, "I won't be able to get your bite right." I said NO. So he rolled his eyes repeated I won't be able to get your bite right. Ugh!" And walked out. This doctor calls himself doing community outreach and all he's doing is forcing his staff to go places on the weekends to drum up business (at places that serve alcohol). BEWARE!! PAIN!! PAIN!! PAIN!!! I went in to AD&I in West Melbourne in Nov. 2017 for 2 implants on my upper left jaw. I came out with no implants, Trigeminal Neuralgia nerve damage and skyrocketing costs!! The night of the implantation I had immeasurable pain in the entire left side of my head. I had a migraine strength headache, an earache in my left ear that included bursts of sharp searing pain into my brain and excruciating pain over the implant site that radiated down over my lower jaw into my throat. This did NOT go away. The removal of the implants 21 days later actually increased my problems. I fully believe, by his actions and statements, that the dentist knew from the beginning that I wasn't an appropriate candidate for implants. Yet he continued due to his arrogance and ego! After almost 2 years with no real healing, I've been advised to consider the damage permanent! Now I'm left with pain every single day along with the bill for implants I don't have, bills for the specialists (Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, E.N.T. Doctor & Neurosurgeon), bills for the MRI, MRA & CT of my brain & sinus and the cost of my daily prescription & follow-ups that must continue. I can not afford to have the necessary dental work I need now because of this. The dentist was extremely arrogant! He had no care or concern for my pain. I felt like he didn't even see me as a person! His final words to me were "Look at it like this, I gave you a face lift for free." "I fixed that bag under your eye!" I worked at this location faithfully for eight long years as a dental technician, before I was abruptly fired for taking 2 personal days because my 2 year old Son was sick. During those 8 years I went above and beyond the call of duty and was forced to work and do things outside the scope of my job description. Because I am from Peru I was always the one made to clean up the lab, take out the bathroom trash and do other menial things not related to my job. I was talked down to, abused and discriminated against by the management repeatedly and on an ongoing basis. I always tried to take care of the customer by taking my time and making nice dentures that would actually fit and be comfortable but I was always rushed and pushed to just get as many out as quickly as I could, with no regard for the comfort of the patient. I was called horrible names all the time, simply because I wanted the patient to be comfortable and be happy with their dentures. At one point I actually overheard someone say "We are here to make money, f*ck the patient" Then every week they would brag about how much money they made that week, it was disgusting. The dentures I put out are a reflection of my skills and very important to me and the patient but i was never allowed to do my best here. This establishment cares absolutely nothing about the customer and puts profits before patients well being. For you to get dentures the dentist will require forced extractions which are usually not necessary. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and I suggest anyone (customer or employee) who is or has been abused or discriminated against by this office to do the same so that this organization can no longer abuse their patients and employees.
