There is a Reservation Fee of $20, which is understandable, and I assumed that if you were a "no show" you would forfeit your $20.00. There is ABSOLUTELY no where stated on the website that you wouldn't get your deposit back if you l had to cancel the appointment. I canceled almost a month in advance and the will not credit the $20. "Our Wedding Dress Fitting Room Reservation Fee includes a private fitting room for you and your guests. You will be assisted with a personal SSYB customer specialist to ensure your bridal experience is one of the best moments of your special event. $20.00" I get charging a reservation fee to discourage no shows, and keeping the deposit when there is a no-show....but to keep $20 when a whole month notice was given is ridiculous! It literally doesn't make sense and is a very poor business practice. I have 2 daughters and have spent a lot of $$$ dollars through the years at this store with Proms and Homecoming ...They have definitely lost a loyal customer over this. To make money for doing nothing, especially in today's economy is robbery! They obviously have become very conceited and feel that they can rip their customers off without consequence. Good thing there is honest Bridal retail/consignment stores who don't practice questionable undisclosed policies. My stop to this boutique was the 4th store in my wedding dress search & if I could change anything, I wish I came here 1st. They have off the rack wedding dresses with affordable prices and gorgeous styles! Plus Terry who is apart of the shop providing alteration services. Each and everyone of the staff are absolute gems. I took their advice and carried both large lamps for repair. What a find! The owners have been in business for over two decades and relocated from Northern Virginia and both husband and wife were personable and at the same time business-like. He took one look and said I can stablize them, give them new harps and shine the brass fittings. After two weeks, the shop called and I returned to find my lamps in beautiful restored condition. He had even made some changes to the bases which made them more stable as he said they were irreplaceable. The store is filled with many expensive lamps and glass shades going back many decades. If I have any other lamps that need adjustment or repair...he is the ONLY business that I will patronize...period.

This was obviously upsetting to even need to bring up, but my fiance did so very respectfully and graciously and we were met with hostility and defensiveness from Jean herself. I was appalled at the rudeness in The tone of her voice. My fiance and I have never had to get a ring resized before, we are new to this. Jean went on a rant to us about how she's been doing this "for forty years" and I just stood there wondering how she's gotten away with such awful customer service for that long. Jean did agree to take the ring back and fix the prongs and buff the band, although she denied that they were the ones that messed them up. After this encounter I learned that my fiancé and I are not the only ones who have had this kind of experience at Jeans Jewelers. TWO other couples I know have had similar experiences. One of them simply asked a worker at Jeans if they could copy down their diamond number for security reasons, and Jean rudely intervened and told them that if they thought their diamond was going to get stolen then they shouldn't hand it over. Good way to comfort Your clients! And my other friends had a bracelet resized and when it came back wrong and they brought it back, Jean was not happy to satisfy their needs. Look, I get that she has Been in the business for a long time, but that is no excuse for being hostile toward your customers. I will never recommend Jeans Jewelers to anyone. And I highly suggest you steer clear if you want a pain free process for your jewelry needs!

Prior to purchasing my current home, I hired Broy and Sons to check the well pump and to test the…read morewater quality. Six months later, I have no water. My dogs have no water. My three horses have no water. Horses can colic and die if they don't have access to water. I pulled out my paperwork from those inspections wherein they stated that the pump was in good working order, but then I discovered that the water test was conducted from the kitchen sink. The house is on a whole house water filtration system, so that's something I believe I should be reimbursed for. God knows what my horses are drinking. They weren't able to send anyone today, so I contacted another emergency repair service who showed me the disaster of wires at the well head (submersible pump), and stated that it should've been noted and addressed. Now, I get to pay through the nose for a last-minute pump replacement TOMORROW with no water on the premises. I DO NOT recommend this company since they seem to lack any form of conscientiousness.
