We had a pair of Maytags that lasted 37 years, something that doesn't happen these days with appliances. Ali suggested the Speed Queen washer and dryer which had 5 year warranty and 10 year for the motor - wow! Got both machines delivered the next day, fantastic install. It was all so quick, great advice and service. We don't live in Manassas but are in Fairfax so we really appreciated the next day delivery. Awesome.

This location has a bigger clearance section than the other locations. But the XL+ clearance items are usually sold out. They have sanitizer and the employees were wearing masks properly. Which is a plus during C-19. Also the store had good ventilation and the AC was on which is another plus. The cashier and manager were both very friendly, Highly professional & social. The general crowd is middle class really. Mainly Police, Fire & Military customers. The noise level was normal for a retail store. Mainly adults shopping. No kids really. It's located inside a shopping center so parking is not really a issue. I was asked to pay via Credit Card. So unsure if they aren't taking cash permanently or it was just temporary for that day. I'm shocked at how much space they have for their games because it's almost like walking into a warehouse full of games, anime figurines, and merch. Everything out in the open games are shrink wrapped and it does help keep that minty fresh condition, I'm sure you don't want to see dust on items you want to buy. The back section used to be an open spot where they would host events. The Gamers Exchange was what I looked forward to the most when going here. Local sellers sold games and it brought a sense of community. There's now more of their section to test and repair consoles so I suppose it's for the better but those were the days.. Apart from all the cool video games to check out I have a few complaints. Like many, checking out here takes too long and I wonder if it's just something where their point of sales is just outdated. Even then, there's only one person just checking out people.. why not have more than one register at a time? There's the option to use WiFi but I could never get it to work. Although there are computers around to look up items that you want to check the price on, it can be a tad slow sometimes. I do like the convenience of checking out what's in stock but sometimes that's not always the case. I remember a few times asking someone that worked there if they had a game, they could not find the game at all and that put a damper on my visit. If I can't see it in person in store then most likely it's probably bought online. Otherwise I find this store to be such a joy to visit. While I think the prices are kinda high, I don't think any game store in the area could really compute. They have games ranging from NES - Recent and that's pretty impressive alone. It's so cool to visit a store that caters to anime and video games enthusiasts.

I understand that stores get busy and employees have other things to handle, but basic communication and attentiveness go a long way. Pitkins is a staple of the community!! They have the parts needed for nearly any "fix" needed for a house built by Hylton, or any of the other builders in Woodbridge, Dale City, Lake Ridge, or Manassas. Their service is still very nice and the place resembles what it always has. They have specialty items, like Big Green Egg and it's a great place to come for them! Also, big shout-out to Trey (?) over in the screen door area who, by showing us the wheels on the on-site screen doors, helped me get ours working at home so we didn't need to buy a new door. Lastly, Jared was great to talk with about the store products in general. In an era of big-box stores, it's so refreshing to get this kind of personal, expert assistance.
