My initial appointment was with Robert for an estimate, he arrived on time was very friendly and professional. Quoted me a price that was cheaper than another estimate I received. On install day Rueben showed up on time was also friendly and professional. He did a great job. Cleaned the area after he was done. The quality of the garage door that was installed is such a better quality door. I want to note that I didn't read the other reviews that are posted on yelp until after my estimate appointment with Robert and because I was so impressed with Robert I decided to go with them and I'm glad I did.

So my daughter's garage door spring busted. I called this company and spoke to a woman on the phone…read moreon the evening of 8/14/2026 and told her the height of the door (8ft) and when was the next available appointment they had. She said they could send a tech out the next day between 12 and 4pm. I asked the women about the average cost to replace the spring on the door. She said around $360, if I recall correctly. It was in the range of what other companies were charging that I had already called, but they couldn't get out to the house until Monday. The next day tech came out and say it's going to be $720, wtf! He said since there were 2 springs it cost that much to replace. Tech got defensive when I questioned him about the cost and what made it so expensive. He didn't like that and suggested he could leave if we wanted him too. He said the woman on the phone should have said it was for each spring, but his notes said the cost was for each, so that's was pretty much it. I again said no, she never said each spring cost that much, so again he got an attitude about it and was like I can leave if you don't want the work done! I was shocked and just flat out pissed off now! My other property only cost me $450 for two springs including labor from another company, but they couldn't come out until Monday. Tech said they were better springs than everybody else's out there because they were high frequency use springs. My daughter had no choice as she needed to get the door operational to get her cars out, so she paid the $720. Definitely will never use this company again and will never recommend them to anyone for any thing. Talk about unprofessional and bait and switch practices! Buyer beware!

They told me the door had a Crack in it and needed to be replaced because that door was no longer made and parts were not available. By California law, a new opener also had to be installed. No new door can be installed without installing a new opener, because it has to have a battery back-up. I called John, from Afford-A-Door in Lodi. He came out. Fixed the opener problem in about 3 minutes. That saved me between $1,000-$1,500. He looked at the Crack in the door and said it could be repaired. That saved me between $2500-$3500.
