We had CDO glass put in our shower glass doors in our remodel this last year. The quality of work is great and even when we had some problems they came by quickly to remedy it. The work done and the customer service are the reasons for the 5 stars---I felt I could go down to a 4 star review because of the leak and door alignment issue we had in our master bathroom but in the end they came by and fixed it quickly. So I have to say that their warranty on their products are top notch. The big question is if I would use them again? I would say yes because of the customer service and how friendly they all were---easy to work with. My contractor was the one who found them and I'm glad they came in a fair amount of time and was able to do the work. The photos included are the professional final shots. We hired cdo to replace two mirrors in our bathroom. The first big mirror was defective. They replaced this no problem...except when they were supposed to come never showed up. I called them after waiting for 3 hours and they said their truck was in an accident. They could have called me and told me this so I didn't have to wait around all morning. They came this week and replaced the big mirror however the medicine cabinet mirror was a disaster. They discounted this mirror but we were not happy with what they did. My mom's house had a shattered window that needed to be replaced so I opened up a project on Yelp to take in bids. Many of the shops that I reached out to directly in parallel with my project posted on Yelp pushed hard for me to replace the entire window. But that's not something practical given I was only seeking glass replacement for one panel to one of three matching windows in front of the house. It took a bit of work to schedule an in-person estimate with CDO, unlike many of the other companies that simply relied on the dimensions and photos I provided to send quotes. Memo came over as scheduled on a Saturday morning and quickly took measurements. I received a formal bid that Monday. I'm glad I had the patience and time to schedule the visit because CDO came in as the lowest bid and answered all my questions about the thickness and type of glass that would be used. After confirming I would proceed with CDO to take care of this job, i was told it would take a few days to receive the glass in their shop. I was contacted via text to schedule the install a few days later. Memo, the same guy who took quote measurements, did the install with another friendly worker (didn't get his name). The removal of the old glass was straightforward and messy. They vacuumed and swept up inside and tried their best pick up outside as well. Unfortunately, the install didn't go as smoothly. They were almost done when the glass shattered as they did the final adjustments. I was told it's quite common for installs of thin glass. Luckily, they ordered two pieces for this job. But I had to wait for them to pickup the other piece at their shop and return. If it's such a common occurrence they should really bring both pieces of glass? Again, the team vacuumed and swept up inside and tried to pick up all the pieces outside. When they returned, they were quickly able to install the replacement glass. So the second time was a charm. Overall, I'm satisfied with the price and finish of the job completed. The glass installed is essentially indistinguishable from the original glass. Most importantly, my mom is happy to have her windows repaired. Thanks CDO! I'll keep you in mains the time I need glass repairs, replacements or new windows. read more
