Long time customer, had service scheduled for two weeks. Got call 2 hours before the appointment and said they had to cancel, another more important job came up, they could reschedule in another week.... no thanks. I always paid my bill on time, why is a long time customer not at the top of your list. Will find someone else. read more

A great group of people, Sean, Seth, Spencer, Curran, all of them. And Sean, will spend all the time it takes to help you understand the fears, answer questions, about such a large purchase, the guys are super polite, left my basement more tidy! Than it was before, and even worked on a holiday to help me. They did have to come back due to recalled part, but they show up, when they say, they will be here. Sadly, customer service is hard to get, but not with this company. Not all things go perfect, but way they handled things, is why, 5 stars. Updated! Chase! They deserve ZERO stars (actually NEGATIVE STARS). Two projects 5 years apart. I only discovered the failings of the first project (high efficiency new furnace installed Oct 2015) after they failed to pull required permit for the second project April 2021 new AC), They failed to pull the permit for the furnace and AC. So YOU DECIDE: Statement of work for both projects included all required permits: mechanical, electrical, plumbing. They invoiced me full amount. Failed to pull permits: claiming work performed but not completing said work. Therefore I believe that meets the legal definition of FRAUD?  ..... In law, fraud is intentional deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain.... On two separate occasions they invoiced me for work specifically identified in the Statement Of Work but failed to perform such work and claimed to have done so. Intentional deception for monetary gain. ALSO, since I caught them in May for the AC permit at which time I discovered they failed to pull the furnace permit, all required permits were then submitted but ONLY AFTER THEY WERE CAUGHT AND FORCED TO, get this: RENEW THEIR FORT COLLINS HVAC LICENSE. Yes they installed the AC IN APRIL 2021 without a valid license since it expired in March. Now fast forward over 60 days after they invoiced me for the AC install: Still FAILED MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING REQUIREMENTS for BOTH AC and FURNACE. FAILED CONDENSER DRAIN LINE FAILED AC electrical FAILED AC mechanical And I had to tell them the AC outside compressor unit pad failed to meet minimum manufacturer specifications (the pad was too small for the unit... Basic stuff). They did replace that after I complained, kudos? As of June 13, 60 plus days after AC was supposedly final install none of the permits have passed. I had to submit and pay for my own plumbing permit and plumber  to repair the damage they caused when they CUT  and drilled a 2" hole in the MAIN SEWER LINE for the improperly installed furnace condensate line. Oh and yes they submitted the warranty for the furnace under the wrong name (they did get that corrected). They submitted the install date for the AC on the date they installed it but it was not activated until two weeks later and have not yet corrected that error). Finally on July 8, nearly 90 days after "completion and invoicing" the final mechanical,  electrical,  and plumbing permits for the 2015 furnace and 2021 AC passed inspection. We had a new furnace installed by Affordable Heating. They came out right away and gave us an estimate in writing. The furnace was not available from the manufacturer due to Covid backlogs. When the furnace finally arrived, the price had increased from the original amount, but Affordable honored the lower price. We were amazed at how quickly the furnace was installed and it functioned much better than we had expected. Every employee that we have ever spoken with has been courteous and professional. The installers and technicians were very knowledgeable and extremely polite. I highly recommend Affordable Heating. They are good, honest, trustworthy people read more
