I do not recommend this company wants to deceive you for 1 hour costs $30 but if a lot of water gets into the filter and they say that the moped needs to be repaired because it will die after 0.5 miles because the water got into the engine but the water cannot get into the engine because the carburetor filter goes first and then the motor but i drove it 5 miles with a wet filter and it didn't die and they charge $150 for it read more

Had a blast! Rented two three wheel mopeds to ride on the beach. The silver one I had was brand new with only 5 miles on it. Husbands was in great shape minus the cracked side mirror. Make sure you take $50 cash deposit for each person. If you bring back the moped in the same.condition you left it in, they hand back your $50. They have regular mopeds and a couple three wheel mopeds. They also have the helmets and sunglasses so all you need to do is show up and have a blast. People there were very nice! They really are affordable! Check-in was easy and simple. The lady at the front is straight forward about logistics and cost. Helmets are provided, and they have extra shades for drivers. "The mopped guy" broke down the tutorial in a very simple way (I was a first time moped rider). We were out and driving within 10 minutes. They are located near a "back road" so first-time riders can practice before hitting the main roads. The day we attempted to take the mopeds out onto the beach was not the best day! The sand was not packed enough for us to drive on; and we saw a lot of people get stuck in the sand. So definitely worth it if we could hit the beach with our moped! Came in a little later in the day thinking mopeds would be a fun thing to do before heading back to the hotel. We were greeted very warmly and by two of the most friendly people possible. Once we decided on how long we wanted the mopeds for (we were juat a little late to be able to do 2 full hours but they said they would make an exception for us) we were given a great crash course on mopeds and informed that the training time is free and our play time clock wouldn't start until after we were comfortable with Riding them alone. They supplied the mopeds, helmets, and gloves and even hair ties!! Everything was perfect and we will absolutely be comming back to affordable mopeds next time we are in ocean shores!! They really are affordable, and this was the favorite activity that my son and I did while on a short Ocean Shores getaway! The two person staff was great, we were in-and-out on our mopeds in 10 minutes. The mopeds were well maintained and rode well on the road and the hard packed sand. We had a blast riding them at about 20 mph up and down the beach while my wife and daughter rode horses. It can get a little chilly, so be sure to dress for a ride if the weather isn't hot. Good place to rent a Moped, bike or even a 4-person peddle bike.. We rented a 4 person bike for an hour ($25) and had a very great time. Note to anyone that wants to take it on the beach.. Husband and I just got home from a surprise anniversary getaway to Ocean Shores and mopeds were on the top of the list of things to do while we were there. While there were several places around with moped rentals near where we were staying, the $30 for 2 hours sign could not be avoided so we made our way over to begin our adventures - and I sure am glad we did! First of all, the owner Bill (yes the same one several reviewers complained about) was AWESOME! Not only was he funny, but for a first time rider he made me feel so comfortable! He even told me that I was a better driver than my husband, LOL, hubby didn't appreciate it but gained him extra cool points with me Bill gave great instructions, made sure I was ready to hit the open road and sent us on our way. The moped itself wasn't the fanciest (the other places actually had cooler looking ones) but that didn't bother me at all. Everything was in one piece, we had a full tank of gas and the breaks worked - what more could you ask for! I was a little bummed since they no longer have the three wheel mopeds, but what Bill explained was that they are actually more difficult to ride than the regular ones and they didn't want to upset people by telling them those mopeds were for "novices" only. Made sense to me! The ride itself was awesome. Husband and I had a great time rollin around Ocean Shores on our cool little mopeds and now I want one even more for commuting back and forth to work! Definitely a great, fun way to see the town. To the people who complained, it's simple .. follow the rules and you don't get yourself in trouble, simple right? We had absolutely no issues, in fact we stuck around for a couple of minutes and had a great chat with Bill, who again was a very nice guy. Guy in the back was nice, I was a bit nervous and don't feel like I got very much instruction but then my husband rides motorcycles and was telling me what to do so maybe the guy didn't feel like he needed to help me much. Horrible customer service!! The lady at the counter was extremely rude!!!! The prices are ridiculous too. The guy that was giving training was super nice and very helpful and that's why he gets the one start. Otherwise the lady doesn't deserve any business. I was unable to ride the moped as I couldn't control it properly and didn't feel comfortable riding it. she saw the entire thing and refused to give refund. Unfortunately one of us lost control of the moped and fell and got injured. I called the lady to come pick up her moped and she told me she didn't have anyone with drivers license../ what the fuck!! How to do run such business and has no one with license?? Well cops showed up at the accident scene and called her and then all of the sudden she had someone. Wow!!! They have you practice on a quiet street, before letting you go out and explore on your own. Terrible lady owners/management. Purchased a 2 hour for $40 ( not affordable btw). The person giving us tutorial was nice but didn't do a good job explaining the controls. The brakes was sticky and I lost control and couldn't stopped. I end up hurting myself after only being on for a few minutes. Tried to get a refund for the second hour.. since I paid for 2 hours and only used for total 30 minutes.. but was rudely dismissed. There needs to be refund policy for people that are unable to operate the mopeds. There should be a first timer discount. The lady was very rude and seemed to only cared about keeping our money. My suggestion for first timers is choose the "cheapest" deal. $25 for 1 hour as of 2017. If you like it, get another hour. Better yet, go to Apollo mopeds. Better customer service! read more

This is the second place that we went to rent moped's over our weekend. We should have came here first. The mopeds are in better shape than other locations and they do go faster. 2 hours for $30 and that is really all your need. We brought them back 10 mins past when we were supposed to by accident and they didn't make a big deal about it. The man who helped us at the front was kind enough to go over how to use the mopeds, even though we already new how. He even rounded up our time so we actually got 2 hours and 15 minutes of riding time! How nice! I have never been on a moped before and they took the time to show me how, and made sure we were comfortable before sending us off. We got to choose the color of our moped which was pretty cool! They provide helmets and let you borrow sunglasses if you forget yours! Ride on the street or the beach! The beach was definitely our favorite place to ride, it was so beautiful!! I had my 10 yr old with me and she loved it! This was so much fun and I can't wait to go again!
