Moving in December is no fun but Affordable Movers made it so easy. They arrive on time and communicate to make sure they take care of your items the way you want. The nicest, most helpful movers I've ever experienced and I have never had this much furniture before. They never seemed to be in a rush but were quick as ever. I had absolutely nothing broken or missing and nothing touched any walls at either location. Not a bump scrape or anything. They rearranged my massive sectional several times until I decided, with their awesome help, which way would be best for the new room. They go way above and beyond. Moving is stressful enough and then add needing a surgery shortly after moving into new apartment I was on pure stress overload. I moved on 10/2/22. This was the second time I used this company and I have zero complaints. They called me 30 minutes before the scheduled time and let me know they were on the way. Three guys showed up (I wish I got their names) and got to work right away. I had a couch, loveseat and a patio fire pit that I needed disposed of and felt bad for asking, but they were more than happy to do it even though I'm sure it was a pain in the butt. They knew how to take apart and set up my large wooden bed frame and they made sure my bedroom furniture was right where I wanted it. The guys worked their tails off and were a joy to have. Very personable and funny. It took a little longer than I anticipated, but I'd rather they take the time to be careful with my stuff rather than be careless. I knew going in what the cost was per hour and that moves can take a little longer than expected. I read some other (negative) reviews on here, and all I have to say is, if you don't understand that quotes are an estimate and to be prepared to potentially pay more as circumstances can change, then perhaps you're better off moving your own crap. I called Affordable Movers on a Tuesday and spoke to Tuan. I inquired about a move on Thursday and he handled planning it perfectly within 48 hours. He never even mentioned the lack of notice. Marcel and Daniel showed up on time to do the job and were absolutely phenomenal. They were incredibly professional and careful about opening doors knowing my dog and cat were around although I had them both contained at all times. They were very hard working, neat and tidy, and handled our belongings so gently. They made sure to ask with each piece of furniture if any additional protection was desired to purchase. They did not dilly dally around and go the job done quickly and smoothly. Their Tetris skills while packing the storage unit were quite impressive - all the while, they took great care not to harm anything. For an additional fee, they took away the furniture we had decided not to keep. They were both friendly and made the day seem more pleasant with their positive and upbeat demeanor. About 3 weeks ago, we moved from a 4 bedroom 2 bath house in Seattle to Woodinville. It was a large move and we knew we weren't going to be able to accomplish it on our own. I called them at 7pm when my back went out. And they fit me in before their first job at 7am the next day. They were efficient, polite, respectful, and professional. I thought I was good when they were done with the task.... but then another hiccup came up and I needed more help on short notice again. They sent two people out that same week to help me. These two were also just as efficient, polite, respectful, and professional. No damage to my item regardless of how big or heavy. They came prepared with extra boxes, the strechy wrap, packing paper and pads. They will be out first choice when we move into a place in a few months. I choose AM because of the reviews and it was an excellent choice for our recent move to Whidbey Island from Lake Stevens. I always got a quick response either by phone or text! Moving day, Chad and Ryan showed up on time, they call when leaving. Even tho there was only 2 instead of three as planned, they were amazing! They were fast and efficient! They packed every available space! We fully expected it would not all fit, and they even apologized for not getting it all. They had their biggest truck, 26ft, packed in less then 3 hrs! I recently used Affordable Movers to move from Monroe to Kirkland. I researched several moving companies and chose this one because the reservation process was less complicated and their price was reasonable. They arrived at the house in the morning and very quickly loaded everything in their truck. The move-in process took a little longer because the building required they use an elevator that was far from where they were allowed to park.
