This was a local, short 7 block move from a small studio. No stairs and short transfer distance on both ends. The two movers were over an hour late with no call or explanation. They were purposefully SLOW, UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE throughout their 7-hour, time wasted move. They had bad attitudes and did not want to work that day, taking constant breaks while on the clock. I was most upset with poor communications, confusing and overpriced service, being late on arrival, damaged goods, scratching and scuffing a newly painted wall in the bedroom, and the attitude of the two movers. Service, quality and value: TERRIBLE, rip-off and a con job. If there were less than one star to rate these folks on, I would have given it to them. Be careful dealing with these crooks! They will give you a low estimate and then charge you an arm and a leg in the end. I'll end my review now as it makes me sick to even think about it. AMERICAM MOVERS ARE THE WORST. Very disappointed in this company Very disappointed in this company. Only moved 5 miles away but into a new residence. When they got finished moving my furnishings in the new place they told me their truck was empty. I did not check that statement. However I'm missing several items that points to a box or two that was not unloaded. I called and spoke to Cameno. He denied what I was complaining about and just hung up. I don't believe they are an ethical company and would not recommend them. I waited last minute to get movers and my sister told me about Americam Movers. Although they were pretty busy the weekend I needed to move, a couple of the guys said they would be there for me, even after a long distance move they did the night before! They showed up a little late but that was no big deal (as I was still getting things organized myself) but, once they were there they ran through their process, asked me to show them everything that needs to be put in their truck and then they went to it. They wrapped everything like TV, mirrors, glass cases and even put our mattresses in plastic protectors ( which I didn't think about doing) so that was great. Also, I have a dog, they always made sure to close the dog gate behind them after they grabbed a piece of furniture so she wouldn't run out. My dog is a bum and she wouldn't but it was very respectful/professional of them to do so. After the move Adam went over all the fees and totalled me up. They have Venmo, Zelle, paypal and something else maybe? Plenty of super easy options to pay! After they wrapped up and left I realized there was a small discrepancy with my reservation holding fee not being applied to my total cost, and with a quick email all of that was resolved and I was refunded no problem! Everything was simple and the movers were totally Respectful. From the very first phone call to the last email everything was easy and strait forward. This team did a great job! Nice and friendly crew. Took great care with getting our stuff to our new forever home. Really liked the owner's personal involvement with communication and care. The price was very reasonable also. The big ticket was help with the pool table. They chose to help with that, without charging an arm and a leg. I would definitely use them again. I had to move out in extremely short notice ( a pipe had burst in the unit above us). The gentleman I spoke with, Lupe, assured me they could help me. They were at my place the next day and had my entire 2 bedroom (800sq ft) apartment loaded up and gone within 5 hours! I was at my new place with all of my things by dinner time! They were extremely fast, while still talking a lot of care to ensure nothing was damaged (I couldn't find a single nick on ANYTHING!!). All 3 of the movers were highly professional and it was something to watch how the team was able to coordinate everything. I was so impressed I bought them lunch! My wife kept asking the guys to take their shirts off. I think she was a little sweet on the owner, lol I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! The movers were friendly and efficient. It ended up costing much more than I was quoted, but I was okay with that because I thought they had done a good job.... They damaged multiple pieces of furniture though :( when I started unpacking, I noticed I have multiple pieces with scratches and dings, and when putting together my desk, that they had to take apart to get it into the room- they totally ruined it. Moving location from Tukwila to Renton, 5.7 Miles. 3 of them took 10+hours to to move furniture from 2 bed room condo. All they had to do is just wrap the furniture, as all other things were already packed. The exact same set of items I moved in 2017 from Bellevue to Tukwila at 1/3rd of a cost and time without any damage. The only additional thing they did was unhook the Washer and Dryers and moved them along. Also they charged extra for mounting the TV, and wrapping the mattress. They did not even move the items those were not packed, also did not agree to move the mirror because it might break. I was not at my condo to supervise. Since they arrive at my new house, I saw one of them was always on the phone, somehow dumping stuffs without bothering which item would go where. You can't even talk to him, because he is always busy with his phone. Bets of luck to those whoever hiring them in the future. Extremely horrible experience They wrapped a $20 office storage so well to protect it from scratching that they could not even unwrap it. :) I am still moving my stuffs from my condo to my new place. read more

He came to look at our house the same day that I called. Knowing that this was a local and family business is what really drew me to them. They are more than fairly priced as well. Will, Mejenta, Jose and Joey loaded up our entire house and a storage unit in just under 7 hours. They worked hard, expedicially and with care. Three days later they drove the truck down to Northern California. Will and Joey waited patiently while we waited to move into our new home. There was an unexpected delay so I needed to get a storage unit. Will and Joey again worked hard to unload the truck into our storage unit. Communication between Camano as well as Will was great too. Camano responded to my Yelp inquiry very quickly, same hour I sent the inquiry, with plenty of important information and I was able to get a better idea for a price quote when I called them. Before Joe and Brad came, they called to confirm the stuff we will be moving and throwing away and what truck to bring to fit everything. When they arrived they were very courteous and efficient, laid a long floor mat to help prevent floor damage, got all the heavy stuff upstairs moved onto the truck and moved everything into the new unit, then they grabbed all the junk yard items and finished. They were flexible with adding some items for the move and we greatly appreciate everyone's hard work and patience in helping us move. These guys are about as good as moving gets (and I have moved quite a few times - locally and long distance). They are incredibly responsive, happy to answer any questions (I had a lot), fair and honest pricing (NO SURPRISES), on time, and take extreme care of your belongings and home. I contracted them to move several very heavy items to different rooms in my 3-story rowhome, including a new dining table that needed to be brought up from the garage and assembled. They took care of putting the legs on and turning it upright, then took all the packaging waste with them. It's important to note they did this all after finishing another (full) move today. I'm sure they were exhausted but you'd never know it - they were in and out and incredibly pleasant while here. I absolutely recommend them and look forward to using them again. read more

The worst moving experience. They arrived 4 hours later than the decided time. When I mentioned my moving requirements; I was suggested 3 movers. None of them were experienced. One person did not even know how to apply packing tape on the boxes. We ended up doing half the packing. They increased the number of hours of their work by going and bringing the packing material ; resulting in me having to pay more for the time spent +75$ for transportation. The transportation charge ($75) wasn't mentioned in the initial quote. When you are in the moving and packing business, you are supposed to ask customers all the questions including the packing materials required and what needs to be done. You get what you pay for!! These guys might do a good work for a small job like apartment moves but moving a house is not their cup of tea. I made a terrible mistake by hiring them for a house move. We had a lot of stuff and the owner came and looked at every single drawer and shelve to provide a quote. The quote they provided was affordable as compared to what I was getting from other movers so obviously I went with them. However, the damage that they made cost me more than what I saved. I so wish I had went with the non affordable ones, at least my furniture would have been saved. Even after looking at our stuff, owner sent just 1 medium sized truck and they stuffed it so badly and even then a lot of stuff they had to leave behind because it couldn't fit in the truck, which later I had to move by myself in 10 more trips to my old house. The furniture that they stuffed in their medium sized truck caused so much of a damage. The crew was energetic initially and then towards the end they just wanted to get over with the move and were so tired and careless. They were dropping our stuff and breaking it, again causing damage. We asked them to take a break but they kept going probably because owner said they have to finish the job in 6 hours or something. MOST IMPORTANTLY- THEY LIED... when we moved to our new place, they just wanted to move the boxes and furniture and not re-assemble it. We had to get in touch with the owner to remind him that the assembly is also included. So the crew was already tired and got more frustrated that now we have to do the assembly as well, they assembled our furniture in wrong way in frustration, even the crib, causing more damage. There are lots of things that we couldn't even find after so many months of our move which makes me wonder they stole it. They did our packing as well a day prior to our move. They packed everything except our bathrooms and said that we will pack bathrooms tomorrow when we will be back for your move. However, the next day a different set of crew members came and said we thought the packing is done so we have no packing supplies. So now, they just dumped everything that we had in our bathroom in the boxes that we had in our garage from amazon deliveries. They were highly unprofessional, the move was so frustrating... I would not recommend them!! I made the mistake of choosing them to save some money in move but trust me I lost more than what I saved which is why I had to write this review. read more

Easy to book and communicate. We rented a 20ft truck and hired this team to load our things for a cross country move. The move took longer than initially expected, but the team was diligent in finishing our move as quickly as possible. Pricing was fair and with no hidden fees. There were a few loose items that were moved during the packing process without our knowledge and a few scuffs on the staircase from the furniture. I booked another mover but they canceled due to the COVID-19 quarantine problem just before 1 week ago of moving. At the time I was disappointed because I thought I had to get quotes from movers again. However, at the same time, this company informed me of the promotion about moving. As the contact was eager and the price was reasonable so I booked immediately. On the day of moving, they arrived just on time beginning and did moving smoothly. These guys are good. They moved my mother from her home of 40 years into her new condo. They came in and packed up everything, moved everything, and even brought things to storage that could not fit into her new home. They did not over changer, they barely took break's and treated her belongings like they were they're own.
