I've wrote a review here before but man! This place never dissapoints! I first got Flowmaster on my 2006 mustang and the prices was wonderful, the people were wonderful, everything was wonderful! So I decided to come back for my 2016 mustang and man it's a better experience this time around (didn't think it was possible). Unlike most shops he's actually trying to SAVE me money. Quoted me at 550. For a catback system, when it was time to install he dropped it down to 400. And he gave me a free McDonald's sandwhich! I love this place man! Lol I'd recommend it to ANYONE!! My wife's Xterra's catalytic converters finally crapped out at 185k miles. I was able to find the cats online and called around for a quote for the install. Manuel was really helpful and his quote came in at 1/3 of what the closest quote elsewhere was. They had both cats replaced and the truck ready to roll in about two hours. It's great to see a small independent shop doing such great work for a reasonable price. Outstanding service and attitude and price I kid u not i sat at pep boys they wasted my tine couldn't fix it i went to another mulfler shop and couldn't either I stopped in here and they looked at it and welded it and fixes it in 15 minutes and to amazement locked up when done they did my car 15 minutes before they closed they didn't even make me feel they wheee closing The mechanics came and explained what was wrong and did i did not even know it was closing time. Came here wanting to get a resonator and muffler delete on my 2018 Honda Accord sport. The guy was very welcoming and checked out my car and give me a price that was great in comparison to other muffler shops. While working on my car, he didn't just let me sit down alone. He came to me and started to have a conversation which I thought was nice. been to a couple of auto shops and they don't do that much. What he said would be done in an hour got done in 25 minutes. I can't thank these gentlemen enough. I was on my way home with my two babies (4 months and 17 months) when I got a flat tire. I saw them open and quickly pulled in. They patched my tire and aired it up and wouldn't charge me. The gentleman who patched the tire even ran to the auto parts store to get the patch and wouldn't let me pay him. Went there a couple of weeks ago to get a set of new exhaust tips welded on referral from my body shop. The price was great but the installation left a lot to be desired. They lifted up my car and proceeded to saw and weld the tips in without even paying attention to how level there were and to the slants of the tips. It looked great on the the lift up high but upon closer inspection at home and underneath the tips were not rotated evenly nor were the level with one another. One was pointing straight and the other was pointing at an angle down. I had to take it to another muffler shop to get it rectified as I knew I would get pushback if I requested them to fix the issues. The place is fine for quick jobs like installing a prefabricated cat-back or re-piping at a very reasonable cost but don't expect a satisfactory job that may require more attention to detail like welded-on exhaust tips. It's more a like a lift, weld, and see-ya kind of business for non-discriminating customers. read more

I was driving to my first day of work orientation, when my engine light turned on! NOO! I already had enough on my mind. I would normally call my dad in this type of situation, but he's in CA, and I'm supposed to be a grown up now. I first took my car over to a Pepboys for diagnostic testing, and they delivered the bad news - it was my catalytic converter. Since they did not provide that type of repair, the technician recommended Affordable Muffler. Thank goodness he did! Before taking my car in, I called around to compare quotes, and Affordable Muffler was the most affordable =] When I arrived at Affordable Muffler, Manuel was SWAMPED with other people. When it was finally my turn, he took the keys to my car and ran the diagnostic again. When he confirmed that it truly was the catalytic converter, he repeated the quote he gave me over the phone. He could sense my hesitation, and being the no nonsense man he is, offered me an alternative plan - that I buy the part myself at the O'Reily next door, and I would only pay him labor. I wanted to hug him at this point!! He made a call to the O'Reily for me, and I walked over to pay for the part. The part required about 2 hours to be delivered, so I left my car at the shop. Manuel gave me a call when it was ready, and I left the shop feeling confident in the job that was done. This was the first time I felt comfortable leaving an auto shop - I felt as if I received honest service. Let Manuel take care of you, too!! read more

I've had catalytic converters on two different cars replaced here, and the experience was great. Manny is a no-nonsense guy, and if cost is on your mind, he's open to you bringing in your own parts (he'll even tell you the exact part number to buy next door at O'Reilly's). If you need exhaust work done, this is the place to go. I can't stress this enough: if your shop is quoting you some ridiculous price to get your catalytic converter replaced, kindly reject their offer, and take your car to Manny. I was looking for a good place to get my exhaust system repaired. I called a few places and one recommended me to Affordable Mufflers. I gave Affordable a call and went the next day. As I was waiting for them to inspect the car, I called around to other exhaust repair places to get an idea what a repair on mine might cost. I got through to one and gave him information on what was damaged and told him I was at another repair shop. He asked which one, and I said Affordable Muffler. He said we can't beat Affordable Muffler's price and that Affordable does great work. After that conversation I decided to stay. They inspected it. He gave me a very reasonable price and said 20 to 30 minutes to finish. I walked to get cash and by the time I got back (less than 30 minutes) they were done and I paid the price I was quoted. It's really hard these days to get good honest serivice in the auto repair business. The guys at Affordable Muffler are just that - honest. My check engine light came on and my husband took it to Auto Zone to do the free check. It came up with the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors. We took my car to AM because a family friend recommended it. Long story short the guy did the check again and found out it wasn't the catalytic converter so he saved us a bunch of money and he didn't even charge us for the check. If anything else happens to either of our cars I'm taking it to these guys. read more

I went off the reviews of other Yelpers. They got this one perfect. I needed to have the old oxygen sensor bungs cut out and new bungs welded in. They tapped the one bung and cut the second one out and welded in a new bung. Got it home and the new bung worked perfect but the retapped bung just would not work. Price was very reasonable. No complaints what so ever. So fast forward 2 days and I returned to have the second bung cut out and replaced. 10-20 minutes later and we were off. Got it home and worked perfectly. Do not hesitate to take your muffler work here at all. I am a happy customer and will return if I ever need work done again. Thanks y'all are the best. read more

Manual replaced both catalytic converters on our 2003 Audi Cabriolais. Despite problems with receiving mis-boxed parts and having one of his lifts occupied by our Audi for several days while the parts store tried to rectify the mistakes, he was very gracious and honored his original labor quote. To finally top it off after installing new left and right converter sets...he had to cut the new pipes and insert a bend to get them to clear a crossmember for the automatic transmission. It is obvious that these guys know how to do things right from my time spent watching them work on other customer's cars. One guy had a stainless dual exhaust system put on a 1968 Dodge Challenger. You don't have to worry about the exhaust tips not matching ar this shop! read more

Highly recommended! Yelp led me to this shop the first time that I had this muffler problem. Cracks in the exhaust piping just prior to the catalytic converters resulting in excess noise when in operation. First time it was the driver's side, so they cut out that section and welded new pipe in. That was a maybe two years ago. Starting to experience the same problem now, only not quite to the same degree. Went back today and it was the same cracking but on the passenger side. They fixed me up so fast and so affordably both times that I'm just kind of in awe. This place definitely deserves your business. I don't live anywhere near that place, but I will continue to drive out there. read more

When you read somewhere online about "go to your local muffler shop and have them ... whatever" this is the place. I normally do all my own work on my Jeep, but could not get the downstream O2 sensor out. After Affordable Muffler on Yelp, I thought I would give them a try. I called yesterday to see about getting the old sensor out. He said, "No problem. Just bring it by." I brought my Jeep by today after work and there were no other customers there. I was told to pull into the center bay so they could check it out. He tried to get it off with a combination wrench (it started to strip the sensor), then welding a piece of pipe to the old sensor (the weld broke), the a pipe wrench with a cheater bar finally broke the old sensor loose. All of this was done while applying heat with oxy/acetylene. It turns out whoever installed the last O2 sensor cross threaded it. An attempt was made to re-tap the bung to accept the new O2 sensor but we decided it would be quicker to cut out a new hole and fill in the old one. I already had the new O2 sensor and he was more than happy to throw it on for me. After finishing the sensor fix, I asked him about adjusting my tailpipe as it sometimes was making contact with my extended range fuel tank and skid. No problem. Just threw a new clamp on while adjusting the relation of the pipe to the hanger. I also had another clamp replaced that was semi-loose and rusted beyond fixing. After all this (which took about half an hour), while a helper was clearing the CEL for the sensor code, I asked what the damage was. "Don't worry about it. You don't owe me a thing." Are you kidding me? I gave him some cash that he reluctantly took and will definitely be coming back after I rework my suspension and need to redo the exhaust layout. read more

Driving a lowered car is hell on your exhaust system that's why I use affordable muffler because the name in it self says it all. I've had some stuff done free here nobody does that anywhere. (even though it was just to rehang some piping but none the less free) and i got a muffler put one for cheap but cash only here, i had to run to the ATM down the street. read more
