I was blown away by the speed, quality, price, and level of service. The two folks who came down and cleaned our carpets were very nice, welcoming, and worked with us. We've recently gotten a new puppy and have had difficulty potty training him - he urinated plenty of times and the odor was terrible. Their pricing isn't upfront and they up charge. I purchased a Groupon from them hoping to save some money on carpet and tile cleaning. It seemed like a great deal until I realized after up charges that I'd be paying nearly the same cost as the cleaner we've used multiple times and love would charge me. They wouldn't give me a bottom line price until they got to my property and I'm not cool with surprise charges last minute. Affordable Quality Carpet. I would not use them or recommend them. Please beware. The following is my documentation of experiences with them. Carpet cleaned on 2/8/19 Project started about 3 pm and finished a 5 pm. I arrived home at 9 pm and found the carpet saturated. We had to use Wal-Mart bags on feet because no foot protection was left to use. Nothing was under the legs of the furniture as they informed us there would be. They said the carpet should be damp. There text was as follows: "The carpets should just be damp, please keep ventilation ceiling fans on hi should be dry soon." The carpet was saturated. 2/9/19 At 8:20 am I sent a text stating that the carpet was still very damp and I had fans on all night plus had the heat set on 75 degrees. At 8:30 I sent another message informing Christina that I had to wipe down the windows because of the moisture on them from the moisture in the carpet. I contacted Jeff (a friend who recommended Affordable) about 9:19 for him to put larger fans on the floor to dry it out. By this time I had spent my time and heat trying to dry the floor out. I also gave Christina Jeff's phone number. (I talked to Jeff later and he said he did not talk to them but they said he did). Only time he talked to them was when they called him later asking if he had any more jobs. I got a call from the workers about 9:30am The last message I had was at 9:24am 2/11/19 then they stopped communicating with me even though I sent three more texts to them. The workers were not prepared. After the lack of response by the workers I looked on the invoice and noticed a different phone number than the workers were using. I called it on about 21 February and talked to Patrick who is the owner. He knew nothing of them doing this job. I explained the whole situation and he explained he wanted to discuss it with his people that he was out of state at the time and would get back with me. Contact with Patrick was made again on 11 March. The final contact with Patrick was made on 15 March when he was to call me back on the following Tuesday when he wanted to have a conference call with me and his two workers. That call never happened and no contact has been made since then to me. read more

To whom it may concern my wife and I had this company come in and clean our marble flooring and we were appalled at the kind of services this company provided us. Patrick Murray the owner and operator of the business charged us 900.00 in cash to repair and clean our marble floors in our Phoenix property and not only did he do a terrible job at cleaning the marble but his equipment extremely damaged our marble floors. We attempted to work with this person and placed numerous calls to him before he returned our call, we informed him that his machines damaged our marble flooring in many places. We set an appointment with him to inspect the situation and he did not show up we again placed a call and set another appointment which he missed again with no notice. Finally we were pretty frustrated at this persons professionalism and called and set another appointment which he kept. Once he was at our residence we showed him the damage that he did to our marble floors, he immediately denied that he did any damage with my wife and continued to argue with her instead of providing a resolution to the problem. My wife informed him that she was going to call another tile company and have them look at the damage, he told my wife that he was also going to call someone to inspect the situation which he never did. We called Americhem LLC 2027 East Hale Street Mesa AZ 85213 480-837-5725 or 520-837-9715 They informed us that Mr. Murray did in fact damage our marble floors, they also informed us that the person is required to be licensed to perform this kind of work which I do not think that he is. Americhem LLC also stated that Patrick Murray only did two steps out of a five step process that needed to be done. We noticed that something was wrong when he was cleaning the floors and did not even attempt to clean the edges of the marble floors along the baseboards. We would also like to point out that Patrick Murray set his floor cleaning machine on our new carpeting and put a circular disk stain on our new carpet which we just paid 2000. for. Americhem has quoted us 1100. to repair the damage that Patrick Murray inflicted on our beautiful marble floors. I chose this company through a Groupon add for grout cleaning. The price was reasonable so I decided to try them out. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner "Patrick". He was the one who provided the service. He first performed a "test cleaning" to see if he would need to use acid to clean the grout. If this were the case the price would more than double. He did this test on a spot as conspicuous as possible. The results of the test concluded that I needed the acid of course. Leaving me very little choice I had to pay the difference to have the rest of the grout cleaned. When I questioned Patrick about his choice placement of the testing spot he became defensive. It was a typical bait and switch sales tactic. He was extremely arrogant and condescending. I'll never use his service again. read more

Purchased a groupon for tile cleaning (500sqft). I spoke to the owner over the phone and explained the condition of my tile. He said with my square footage and my floors current condition I would probably have to pay an extra $60 for deep cleaning. The day of service the tech comes to my home and cleans a sample spot in the kitchen. He then quotes me an additional $400 on top the already paid groupon of $60. His quote includes an acid wash and sealant. He calls his boss and we speak - the owner lowers his price to roughly $220 and says that this new price will include an acid cleaning, sealant and they will come back in a year and clean my floors again free of charge. At this point I suspect I am being scammed. As the tech cleans my floor I do a quick google on floor sealant. The tech and owner claimed that the sealant is built into the cleaner so there is not another step. The next day once my floors were completely dry I see huge areas where the tech did not scrub. The entire area between the kitchen island and the stove is still caked with grime. The areas around the cabinets, the bathroom cabinets and toilet and the grout lines against the baseboards all look like they were missed as well. It has been a week and a half since my service and my floors look awful with mixed clean and grimy grout lines. They did not do the service they alleged I was paying for. I also want to touch on the mess the tech made - he was quite reckless with his spray. It took two days after the service for me to get all the spray off my walls and appliances. Hindsight I should have just said no when I was quoted $400 and let the tech leave. read more

We first discovered Patrick and Affordable Quality Carpet Cleaning in early 2013 while searching through Groupon. Patrick was very courteous and affable. I appreciated Patrick's punctuality in responding to my inquiries as I had received a phone call back within about 15 minutes. He wanted to be able to introduce himself over the phone and provide a preliminary screening to ensure his services could meet our needs before scheduling an appointment for later that week. My wife and I lived within a 3rd floor apartment, which was approximately 850 square feet, in which we had just finished potty training our new puppy (Good idea, poorly executed). Patrick was able to quickly restore our apartment's rug to pristine condition with a pleasant scent, clean-appearance and non-greasy feel. The day came for us to move from our previous apartment complex in March of 2014. We were concerned that the apartment complex would claim damage to the rug due to our potty training escapades. Luckily, we saved Patrick's information as we had anticipated the need for a final carpet cleaning and inspection if we decided to move on to a new residence. Patrick showed genuine delight in hearing from us again, as he had expressed his desire for devoting his services to us as established clients and for building a life-long client relationship in the Phoenix Valley. We informed Patrick that we wanted to utilize his services and personal expertise in evaluating the condition of the carpet and ensuring that we left the carpet in mint condition. Patrick remembered our previous experience, and expressed honestly that he had genuine concerns for cleanliness beneath the carpet. In poor judgment, we respectfully declined his recommendation to lift-up and thoroughly clean beneath the carpet. Shortly thereafter, we received a notification of the landlord's inspection. Their inspection indicated that stains beneath the carpet required them to perform additional cleaning, resulting in an additional charge at the end of our lease. We ended up paying more for the landlord's carpet cleaning than what we would have for Patrick's recommendation back when we sought his advice...Should've, would've, could've... Fast-forward to last Saturday (5/23/15 at 10AM; Memorial Day weekend). I received a phone call from my wife whom promptly informed me that she was feeling ill. I arrived home to discover that a scene straight out of "The Exorcist" had unfolded within our apartment (my wife had caught a bad stomach bug). An hour of cleaning with a combination of off-the-shelf carpet cleaning foam, spot treatment spray and warm water had barely made a scratch. I knew it was unlikely that I would be able to obtain a professional carpet cleaner until the following Tuesday (due to it being a holiday weekend), but I decided to give a call out to Affordable Quality Carpet Cleaning despite the unlikely circumstances. Patrick responded to my voicemail within about 30 minutes with a demeanor that was just as polite and attentive as before. In complete distress, I explained the situation. Patrick greeted us with a charming smile, examined the situation, and was able to completely sanitize, deodorize, and remove all stains from our carpet (freed from last night's dinner). Within an hour after his arrival, Patrick was able to produce a clean, stain-free and fresh scented apartment for nursing my wife back to health and for hosting a successful Memorial Day weekend. In my entire life of working with people, I have never been this irate. Kristen called me on January 5 and said the earliest availability is January 11 between 11am and 1pm. Then on the same day, I got a call back wanting to reschedule to a later time the same day, from 1pm to 3pm, due to double booking. I said that is fine. We waited 6 days instead of contacting other carpet cleaners. Kristen said she'll call 24 hours prior to the visit to confirm ETA. I did not get a phone call January 10. Then on the day of service, January 11, Patrick picked up the phone and confirmed the appointment, but 2 hours before the appointment, Kristen said she doesn't have us on schedule for January 11 because we "cancelled" our 11-1pm appt and that it was rescheduled to January 14, which I never agreed to because I have renters coming in that day. I called and texted Patrick to let him know what happened, and he did not pick up. If you make a mistake, own up to it and don't lie about it. I cannot speak about the quality of carpet cleaning, but I need someone RELIABLE, who shows up when they said they will show up and not screw up our schedule. Much time was wasted in finding another replacement company, but fortunately for us, we found Greenway Cleaning Solutions, which is cheaper, and the owner showed up on the same day as promised and is very honest; he said we didn't need to pay for additional scrubbing because our carpet didn't need it. From now on, Greenway Cleaning Solutions is my go to carpet cleaning company, and I'll never reach out to this company again. read more

Dealing with Affordable Quality Carpet Cleaning was the single worst experience I've ever had when hiring a carpet cleaning service. They claim to have been in business for 30 years however, they arrived 2.5 hours late, in a van with a piece of printer paper duct-taped to the side to serve as their logo. When I made the appointment, I gave them my address including my apartment number (383) which makes it obvious that my unit was on the 3rd floor level. I hired them as a clean out service which happened to fall on a Saturday. Not only could they not provide the service because their equipment was mounted in the van which could not reach the 3rd floor, but their attitude was less than unprofessional to say the very least. They were beyond rude, shifting blame for the inconvenience on me, the customer, for them losing a job late on a Saturday & not being able to re-book a client to fill their lost revenue. I would absolutely, positively, 100%, never, ever in a million years recommend anyone hire this company. One star is the lowest rating that can be given in a review, but a negative 5 star review is the most appropriate rating for this unprofessional business. From the moment I first contacted the company to the completion of the carpet cleaning, I was pleased with every aspect of their professionalism. I contacted the company and was called back immediately. They showed up on time with a courtesy call 30 minutes before. My home is difficult to measure, as it has a huge combination dining room living room. The owner, Patrick, worked with me on this size, added in additional footage of scotch guarding and blended into the rooms that were not being cleaned. They were actually the first carpet cleaning company that did not try to add a lot of additional costs onto the initial coupon price. Patrick game to the house told me my master bed &closet were three rooms, small closet was another room totaling 7 rooms, charged $75 more for extra rooms,charged $60 for extra cleaning. My $79 carpet cleaning turned into about $300. I think he charged me for using my own water for his machine. Left a puddle of water in my front yard. Total RIP off.
