They did a great job, and having this fabric in my house is a dream come true. It takes about 8 weeks to get on their schedule, then another week or two for the work to be completed. It is pricey, but you get exactly what you wanted.

After watching the three pros mount the TV on the wall after installing two gang boxes and clean up all the wires, I was blown away. The final step was optimization of the sound and pumping up the rear surrounds which were always a bit light based on the factory settings. They also made the most of my cable universal remote and renamed the HDMI inputs so it is much more user friendly. The issue is that far too much of the furniture looks like it came out of local hotels. Gaudy, Mediterranean style. The demographic they seem to be aiming at is 70 years old and above. I'm 63 and their inventory still reminds me of a trip to grandma's house or the lobby of an assisted living facility. There is nothing remotely modern, tasteful or stylish. I'm sure their buyers know their customer's tastes, but their customer base has to be dying off or aging to a point where they have little need for new furniture. I think Chez Del would be wise to update the styles they offer. In fairness, the staff is professional and friendly but I don't envy them having to move this stuff.

Over the past two years, I've purchased a few fill in pieces for my bedroom, breakfast room, and even an entire living room of furniture at Chez Del's popular summer warehouse event. I've always known exactly what I wanted, having an interior design background myselfl, and been able to make decisions easily. However, it was the purchase of my family room furniture that had me baffeled for the first time. I just couldn't narrow my ideas and decide on the right style and layout. With the help of designer Becky Harrell, my furniture was delivered this week and I am thrilled. Becky worked with me over a year and a half. She was gracious to quote multiple pieces, let me check out umteen samples of fabric and finishes, and never made me feel as undesisive as I knew I was being. She knew I wanted quality and I wanted a great price and so steared me to take advantage of the Chez Del fall upholstery sale. Becky came to the house and measured the room to put it into their design software and show me exactly how the furniture would sit in the room. We thought through all the fabrics and finishes and ultimately decided on a look that fit me, my family and our personality. With tons of family showing up for Christmas, the Chez Del team kept a last minute delivery slot open for me, followed up with manufacturers, and made sure we had furniture for our company. The delivery guys (Keith and Joe) are top notch. I'm a little picky and they took extreme care to cover my floors and carefully placed the furniture; often making slight adjustments to my liking. At installation, Becky informed me that the manufacturer of my sofas had left off a decorative feature I had ordered. Chez Del hired their furniture upholstery person to add the decorative features and handled the issue before I even knew about it. It was done perfectly and without my having to stress about it. That is excellent customer service! Bottom line, the furniture business is a tough one these days as manufacturing has changed a great deal. It's not unusual for the retailer to have to answer to quality issues, delays in shipping expectations, and a whole array of customer satisfaction issues. And, retailers are doing all this at lower margins and more online competetors than ever. Chez Del, their personal touch and expertise, is a gem in this fast changing marketplace. His quote was higher than another company, but his solution for our needs was the most fitting (using the CAT5 phone wires already in our walls rather than laggy wireless relays, like the other company's proposal, which seemed like a novice oversight in retrospect). The installation team finished so efficiently that Chris gave us a substantial discount off our quoted price. I'm very satisfied with the results--we finally have solid wifi access everywhere with an efficient ethernet backbone, and a nice (Amazon) app to control it, too. The installer team led by Ian, were on time and did top-notch work. When they took the old network down to turn on the new one, I didn't even notice an interruption!! They were creative problem solvers on site and responded to our special needs and feedback as well. (They explained how to avoid Amazon Sidewalk at my request.) My mom is impossible to shop for, so I was super excited when I came across this Mother's Day special on the Akron Glass Works Facebook page. It is a beautiful old church converted into and art space right off of the University of Akron campus. There were about 12 people total with two instructors for the group. They gave a demonstration and then thoroughly went over all the steps with an emphasis on safety. I was a little nervous working with molten hot glass, but the professionalism of the instructors set me at ease. They're by your side the whole time... but you're actually creating the piece yourself. I have been to other glass blowing studios where the instructors are so hands-on, that you feel like you took no part in the entire process. Not this place. I definitely felt like I was making something and they were just there to make sure I didn't burn my hand off. The whole process took less than an hour and our pieces were available for pickup the next day. We each got to make two glass flowers which all turned out beautifully. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different to do! We had such a great time!

Then Christian guided me through making my two glasses. I was able to choose from a variety of colors or make my own mix. I chose to mix blue and purple. Christian allowed me to do much of the work while he did the more dangerous parts while reminding me of safety. I was able to to pick up them the next day. I'm really happy with them!
