I spent countless hours organizing my storage space and building shelving. I followed all of the rules, and yet just weeks before my price increase, management threatened to kick me out for "being there too much during business hours." Very bizarre. Great location. Nice facility. But my plans to rent long-term from this company certainly changed. I waited almost a year to post this review for fear of retribution, but I have long since severed my relationship with this company. I would not do business here again.

They even offered us cold bottled water when we were sorting our stuff on a hot summer day. We loved that the staff were responsive and security minded. It makes a big difference compared to a few places we tried before. We will tell our friends and when we need storage again, we will return. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Tops of units are open, a few inches between bars, but they wouldn't have ventilation otherwise. Security seems good, I've always felt safe in the covered parking area and inside. Lights go on automatically as you walk through the hallways. There is a nice bathroom on the ground floor, outside the office near the carts, nice to have when you're there for hours sorting. Prices went up a few times during a fairly short period awhile back, less so lately--Thanks! Great deal compared to many comparable Seattle storage facilities, easy access off I-5. I visited my unit recently after two years and there was hardly any dust. I found this place kind of randomly and am so glad I did!

The move in was fast and simple. The prices are fair, (on the lower end comparatively) and the staff (the site manager, and possibly the facilities sole employee, Josie) have been great to work with. The facility is extremely clean, and very well-kept, and overall, easy to navigate, with a very simple property / building layout. Push carts and elevators are great.'The facility is secure, with a drive up gate that is code entry only, security cameras all throughout inside and out, and an attentive (live in) onsite manager. The parking is limited but really this hasn't been a problem for me. I do seem to have a hard time when I'm pulling into the property and making the turn just right to pull up to the gate code entry box thing. I…read morestarted renting from them in October and when January 29th came around and they jacked my rent up by 25% i had been there like 3-4 months tops. this year i got another notice on jan 29th (its automated so they just will jack you up like clock work) for yet another 20%. Trust me there are plenty of other storage places around that won't be playing with your money every year. this is the automated letter they send you - We are contacting you to communicate an adjustment in the monthly rental rate for unit 1234 at Anthem Self Storage. We do not take adjusting your rental rate lightly and understand cost increases impact you. We want you to know that this is not a reflection of your tenancy but of several other factors. When we make rental rate adjustments we consider rising facility costs, facility maintenance needs, facility improvements and current rental market conditions among many other factors. With all this in mind, effective with your rent due on 3/1/2026, your new monthly storage rent will be (20% higher for no apparent reason) This increase only effects your rental rate. It does not change any insurance or billing services that may be on your account. These will remain the same. We would like to thank you for choosing Anthem Self Storage as your storage provider.
