DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Called for a repair at 10:00 am. Gave an estimate of 90 minutes, then 60 minutes, then 40 minutes every hour thereafter. Called at 4 and he said he could "cancel the order." Said he would be there however long it took for him to come from Manhattan to Junction City. NEVER DID SHOW UP, NEVER CALLED, NEVER APOLOGIZED! Worse company EVER! Doesn't care about customer service!! DOESN'T CARE IF HE HAS REPEAT CUSTOMERS OR CUSTOMERS AT ALL!! Their contracts should be canceled! read more

I was coming back to Manhattan and my car read that I still had gas but I apparently did not haha. I was stuck on the side of the road and they happened to be driving by and pulled over and helped me out! Labor day we were making our way through Kansas on I-70 pulling a fifth wheel camper when we had an axle weld break on the camper that quickly stopped us. The State Trooper that pulled over to help us called Affordable towing and they were on it. They were able to get a mobile welding truck to us within about an hour (on a holiday). Daniel was able to fix the original weld break replacing the spring brackets entirely and even spotted the broken welds on the opposing side of the trailer saving us a second breakdown, hundreds of dollars, and so much time as it would have broken shortly after if not found. These guys know what their doing and I could not recomend them more. If you ever find yourself in the area and in a jam, CALL THEM. These people are slow as molasses IF THEY EVEN DECIDE TO COME TO YOU!. We were told twice "we will be on our way" and they never picked up the car. I kept calling and babysitting them just to get a response. Even then, still not sure if they'll be here. It's going on 42 hours now since the initial call. Avoid at all costs. If insurance says use them, fight it. They won't pick your vehicle up unless you pester them and babysit. read more

I had been having issues with my car for a while and it finally died on me, so I called this company as I have had them tow my car once before when a belt snapped. The man on the phone was a bit hard to understand but we were able to figure things out and he came to tow my car. When he asked what was wrong I explained that I believed it was the starter (after some online research) and explained what my car was and wasn't doing and he pretty much said the exact same thing. So I told him I was going to take it to Firestone and have it fixed there for about ($380) in addition to the towing cost. He offered to replace it for significantly less. Overall, including the towing expenses, I was charged about $250. About $130 less than Firestone, not including towing. The tow price itself, I was charged $60. The first time I had it towed was $80. But that was to an auto shop and they did a reimbursement to affordable towing so I only had to pay the auto shop. (1 payment instead of two separate). At first it seemed kind of sketchy because I had no idea that affordable towing (and car sales) did any repairs as part of their business. But he offered a lower price than Firestone and I couldn't really afford an expensive repair. He also took a bit longer than originally told (about 15 hours longer) but it is a small business run by one or two people I believe so I was not going to complain especially with the lower price. I recommend this company for towing (can't say anything for auto sales as I've had no experience with them on this) but the auto repair went well as much car is running a bit better than it did before it broke down. It starts much faster now. He also gave me a receipt for the part (purchased from autozone) in case there ever arises any issues. So if you see them in person about a car problem it may literally pay off to see if they do a certain repair when they come to tow your vehicle. read more

After a long 4 hour drive I was about 2 miles from my house and my car just completely shut off. Scared with 5 kids, right off a very busy road BARELY in a drive way I was stuck. All of a sudden a nice gentleman pulled up. He asked if I was alright, one of my children was crying and he heard her and immediately ask if she was ok. My sister who I called to come help me showed up. He said he couldn't let us sit at 1230 at night on Kimball Ave with 5 kids. So he helped load the kids in my sister's car and towed me home. It really touched my heart. 70 people passed us and not one cared I had 5 kids stranded in my car. It was fast, affordable, late and he was a legit gentleman. I recommend these guys to EVERYONE. I am very thankful he showed up!!! read more
